Hello, I’m on the of the leaders of Fever Clan on Sea of Sorrow’s. We used to be quite the large guild until real world issues kept the leaders from being very active. However, we’re just beginning to rebuild the guild back up and are looking for some people of solid character to make up some of the core members. Would that be something you guys would be interested in doing or would you prefer a larger guild? We;re 81 members, but not many of them are active anymore. I’m on everyday for around 4 hours(more on the weekends). We definitely understand if things like work problems or family issues come up and you can’t be as active. We’re a part of a gaming community and we have a ton of members that are around your age playing all kinds of games. If you’d like to know more about the guild, feel free to message me or post back here(I’ll check if you reply). You could also message me in game at Rafiee.2935
Hope to hear from you soon!

1: Yes, it’s a pretty good thing to learn to do…
2: Well it has two thumb buttons, but that’s it. I have push to talk on the 2nd one and my heal on the first one. Logitech g9x
This may be helpful for some of you
Hey there, I’m in the rebuilding process of my guild in Sea of Sorrow’s that started back during headstart. I made a post about it on the forums here https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/guilds/guilds/FC-looking-for-loyal-members-Sea-of-Sorrows/first#post1710974.
I know you said size isn’t a deal-breaker but I want to give you an honest heads up that we are just now rebuilding the core group of players, but my hope is that it’ll just make the guild more tight-knit. Let me know if you have any questions!

Even after the quickness nerf, I still enjoy my ranger. I would suggest building a mix between power, precision, crit damage, and toughness. I have a lot of precision and end up with around 66% crit chance right now with a full stack of sigil of perception and that crit chance will be higher when I get the rest of my armor pieces. I do decent damage since I’m criting constantly and can take quite a few hits with the toughness. Learn to circle strafe well and you’ll rarely get hit. If something gets too close, then drop a trap. I like to run with either a moa and sylvari hound or a bear and the hound. For weapons, I use shortbow as my main and longbow as my other weapon, but I’m going to start looking at other combinations to see how they are in comparison. I’ve been playing ranger since headstart on and off.
Bump We got a couple recruits and ran some fractals today
Was fun!
I’ve only just started so I haven’t gotten my traits yet which may be the source. I’m mainly going power right now. I was running sword pistol, but I think I’m going to use focus. I hadn’t realized I could pull things with that wall haha
Will I not be doing much damage until later levels? It seems like it takes me a while to kill things. I don’t really take much damage but the time to kill is longer than expected
No weapon combo can match sword/focus in pve, especially while leveling. Focus is the only access we have to reliable run speed below level 60, plus nothing does more damage than a warden/BF/MW combo. Round up kite all the trash mobs around and set it up = end of battle.
For vets, champs, and bosses, just repeat the cycle while switching to GS (or staff if you need D) for interim DPS. Once you start doing dungeons, you can mix it up a bit and get into more specific builds.
Warden? I know what the rest of the attacks in that combo are though
Well I’ll definitely have a sword and then try out both focus and pistol with it to see which I like more. I had planned on carrying a gs as a weapon too just because I see a lot of mesmers with them so I figured it was at least decent and I know it had some range
Normally I like leveling just through PvE content solo and the occasional group of friends. Which weapon set in your opinions would be most effective for this kind of gameplay or does it really not matter on this profession? I’m coming from a shortbow/longbow ranger so I obviously prefer ranged stuff, but I’ve got no problem with melee if it’s viable.
I haven’t done all of the dungeons yet, but when I do a new one I always read the wiki on it first so I know what to do. That should be common practice unless you like letting your party down when you don’t know what to do
Sometimes I have this issue and when I use a VPN my school provies while starting the launcher it beings to work. You could try looking for some free VPNs for when you want to update and see if that workaround works for you.
In case you hadn’t seen, they implemented the training missions that cost something like 300 influence and will get you a good amount of influence if you succeed. That way you can get a nice amount of influence pretty quickly and do the things that cost more
Edited with some additional information and a section at the top outlining what some people like to be able to see right away.

Requirements: You’re a good person that likes to mess around with friends but also can also be serious when needed.
Current Size: Around 20-30 active members(~108 total)
To give you all a background of us. We started out on Sorrow’s Furnace the second the game was launched for headstart. We grew very quickly to around 150 members and kind of hit a wall at that point. We’re part of a larger gaming community which includes players from all kinds of guilds in different genres. The most important thing we look at in a person is maturity. Everyone loves to mess around and have some fun, but there’s a line we don’t cross. We promote a fun atmosphere and resolve problems in-house as quickly as possible.
My goal is to have a group of people that are pretty tight-knit and like chatting in the game with each other as much as playing the game together. I want to be able to have members that will help each other out with crafting, story missions, dungeons, even just simple game mechanics. I would like to stay away from having a massive guild of people that don’t know each other that well. I am also hoping to have some events where I and maybe some other volunteers will put some prizes up and we can have some fun.
Currently, I’m looking to rebuild our guild which is at around 85 members and not too many are active at the moment. I’m hoping to get some of our veterans playing again while also playing with some new people. We’re casual so we don’t have any requirements to stay in the guild as long as you’ve got solid character. For the most part, we’ve concentrated on the PvE aspect of the game, but many of us do like to do PvP from time to time.
If you’re 16 or older, we’d also encourage you to think about joining our community. Feel free to check us out at feverclan.com. We don’t require you to be in the gaming community in order to be the guild, though. We’re based in NA mostly, and that’s when most members will be online. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact me on here, in-game at Rafiee.2935, or on the previously mentioned website(my forum name is Rafiee). We also have a 500 man teamspeak server so communication will never be an issue.
We hope anyone who reads this finds what they’re looking for even if it’s not with us
Again, our website is located at feverclan.com
