I’ve never been kicked from a party for being a ranger and none of my friends that play ranger have been kicked either. I think you’ve been terribly unlucky

The only downside to this nerf for me is that I have used the shortbow so much that I’m just used to knowing exactly when I’m in range so it’ll just take some getting used to when running into a fight and getting familiar with the new range

Yeah, after i noticed I was barely getting any, I did a quick search a few days ago and it was obvious something was up so I just started hoarding my rares. I doubt there will be any compensation but at least you’ll learn from your mistake.

I run three pieces of knight’s armor and everything else berserker’s. Once you’ve got full exotics, you’ll pretty much never die as long as you’ve got some awareness.

It’s helpful in the orr areas when players are looking where to go for events because commanders are usually running event chains in those areas at least on my server

Bump. More than happy to welcome new players! I love going back to started zones and helping new people level and show them the ropes.

My guild only has like 15 really active members but I always try to spark conversation and we’re almost always chatting in some way as long as people are actually at their computer and not afk

I personally don’t see the issue over the two days that was dropped considering it was an error. This achievement barely takes any time at all and people should be able to do it in the allotted time window. If they can’t then that’s unfortunate. It’s just an achievement.

Yeah I just finished up with finals on friday last week and shipped my computer home on thursday. It won’t arrive until wednesday this week so I have no chance to do the epilogue. Cool

Eh, it knocked me off once but I learned from that and just watched the timing for around 15-20 seconds and then was able to cross without a problem. Didn’t use any kind of tricks either.

And I’m there so that makes it a little cooler

Happened to me twice when completing maps, but i didn’t post it because i knew it’d make people mad

We find most people without tags in the 15-25 areas. Those are usually the people that didn’t want to join a guild that spammed chat and would rather just find people to game with.

Since we don’t have everything unlocked right now, we just rely on having fun gaming together to keep people around :P

Eh, the only time we’re really affected in just finding people on the forums because they’re rarely looking for a guild on our server. However, in-game we usually run in to some low level guys looking for a guild when we’re running events together and pick people up that way. If you run event chains in parties with each other you gain influence pretty quickly and won’t have to buy it. This is coming from a guild leader of around 85 people, but only about 15 are active right now.

Up to around 10-15 very active members now. In game mail or a forum PM is probably the easiest way to get ahold of me

My guild, Fever Clan, is on Sea of Sorrow’s and we’re about the size you’re looking for. We usually have around 10 people log on per day and sometimes up to 15-20. Just depends on life outside of the game. We use Teamspeak 3 for communication in game and I personally love running jumping puzzles with guildies and getting groups together to just run around doing events. We’re also a part of a much larger gaming community that will definitely be more than sufficient for playing some random steam games with you.

Not sure what kind of numbers you’re looking for to play with but we’re a smaller guild that’s slowly expanding. I don’t have plans to become a huge guild, though. I’m currently saving for guild bounty missions that we can do which will most likely stay at tier 1 until we get more numbers. We’ve actually been around since the first 30 minutes of head start, but due to out of game issues(college for me) things got inactive a few months ago and things fell apart. However, we’re rebuilding now and have around 6 or 7 active people on during the week and more on the weekends, usually. We use teamspeak 3 for communication so we won’t be using skype like you prefer(sorry :P).

As for logistical stuff, we’re on Sea of Sorrow’s and are primarily NA players. My roommate and I both go to college in CST. Feel free to PM me on here, or just leave a reply here and I’ll check back regularly. You can also PM me in game. Just another heads up, transfers aren’t free anymore unless you delete all of your characters and choose a new home world. Otherwise, you’re stuck where you are unless you get a transfer with gems.

Kaz, the change in AI has nothing to do with what he asked. The change just made it so our pet won’t agro things that we don’t agro or attack ourselves, it didn’t make it so enemies ignore our pet once we’re in combat with something. It’s always been that risen tend to ignore pets. I always assumed that arenanet wanted to create more of a challenge in orr and that’s why the agro tables are jacked up there but I really have no idea why they do ignore our pet.

He’s mad because he’s losing a little bit of his mobility advantage with rtl since there will be a longer cooldown if he doesn’t hit something? Give me a break.

My advice would be to start playing without a guild and you’ll eventually run across a group of people you enjoyed playing with. Then ask for an invite. That way you know you get along with them beforehand and don’t have to deal with the mass recruiters.

Bumping it back up

I’ve seen other people talk about ruined ore chunks and I don’t get it. I’ve mined since headstart and never gotten a ruined chunk unless i forgot to switch to an ori pick for that ore. I’ve never gotten a ruined chunk with my molten pick, but that’s relatively new. I’ve mined in combat before and everything and still never had the issue

So how do I get to this minigame? I’m buy the starting point to the SAB in rata sum, but not sure where to go from there

You should check the time they made this post. It was well before the scheduled maintenance that was in the notice.

Never had this happen to me. Even when gathering ancient logs and worms attacking me doesn’t result in a fail. I’m actually really surprised to hear that people have had fails since I didn’t think it was even possible. Very interesting indeed. What level are you?

I main a ranger because I find that profession the most fun. I have a warrior and mesmer if the group I’m playing with strongly prefers that I switch professions. Ranger will always be my main though

Give him a break people. Some games allow you to wear multiple items that are the same and have “unique” in the description. I can think of one immediately that I used to play.

Yeah I’ve never required members in my guild to represent(unless they’re officers). Sounds like they were just bad guilds so keep looking!
