Yeah I think there is a finite amount of gems that will drop as his amulet has its own separate health bar… So you need to be coordinated

put $450 on my credit card yesterday so it SHOULD work, called my mother who plays the game as well and she was able to use her credit card to buy gems.

Im having the same issue, In fact i never follow the links in any of their emails cause they simply dont work, Tried it on both IE and Firefox and they just dont work.

While im upset i missed out on the encounter i decided work was a little more important.

Is the fact i missed out on a precursor going to make me stop the game?

But ArenaNet really need to stop with this one time event if you miss it too bad for you.

Just quit out and relogged and it appears to be working for me now

Yeah i have the same issue, Im on the Sea of Sorrows server and the guild is Work and Income.

Asura, Guardian, 80, No speed boost.

Took me 2 hours at least though.
Had a blast doing it … nicely done Anet

Same issue here logging into the map Cursed Shore, no issue with my level 4 in the wayfarer foothills though.
