We have been an active member of the great alliance on the server that has made us the #1 WvW server in the world. I’m the guild leader of Northern Kings. We are a medium sized guild located on Stormbluff Isle. Our primary focus is world vs world, but we like to do everything when we aren’t kicking kitten and taking names on the battlefield. (We are really excited to dive into the new Lost Shores content launching tomorrow!)

I myself have been with NK since 2008, and alot of our members have been around that long as well, which in my opinion says a lot about the atmosphere of the guild. We are a North American guild, so our primetime is in the 7-11PM EST timezone, but some of us stay on longer (especially on the weekends)

We are a casual guild with a focus on World vs World, but we also strive to improve and play at our best, while having fun. If your looking to run smaller “havok squads” in WvW, then I think Northern Kings might be a fit for you. We are a small-medium sized guild on the Stormbluff Isle server, and we usually run a 5-10 man havok squad every night, communicating with our awesome alliance on where they need us to go. We have a couple of people who like to do the PvE stuff, so that content also gets played.

You have some BRILLIANT people in your guild. And at least one on your voice server that makes you groan, but you love him anyway, because that’s how you roll. You have a great website, and a minimum of 10 people on at any given time. (My ideal guild doesn’t have to be 5000 member’s strong, but honestly, the more the merrier, the more diverse, the better).
Hubby and I usually belong to stronger, smaller guilds. I’m just not too sure that works in GW2. If you’re a mid-size guild, on a server with a great alliance, that fine too.

While Northern Kings doesn’t fit every point of your description, but it is something that I am working on. If your looking for a small tight knit group of people to play with in World vs World, who communicates with a great alliance on the server, then look no farther.

Our PvE team at the moment is a little weak, as we lost people to Pandas, but I am constantly on the lookout for more people. The guild is primary North American, so the mornings and afternoons can be quiet, but at night we consistently have at least 10-20 people on, usually more on the weekends. We use mumble for voice communications.

NK has always been an aggressive guild/clan regardless of what type of game we are playing we work as a cohesive unit to achieve our goals. The teamwork we display in game is mirrored out of game, some of the ways our members have helped each other include; building computers, designing websites, and trouble shooting technical problems just to name a few.

Domination
The Northern Kings strives to be the best in what ever game we play. We typically have an aggressive style of play which has made us especially effective in MMO PvP and FPS competitive play. In games that NK is active you can find us among the elite guilds or clans within that game. We frequently receive accolades from our friends and foes alike in the games we play because of how effective we can be.

Alpha & Beta Testing – NK frequently posts information for current or upcoming Beta or Alpha testing opportunities. NK has been invited as a guild to several games Alpha and Beta testing allowing for upwards of 50 NK members to participate.

NK will support our members in what ever games they wish to play. We decided long ago just because a member got bored with the current game we were playing there was no reason for them to need to look for a new guild for other games they were interested in. Instead NK will support our members in any game they play including starting entire new Divisions if there is enough interest. We will support the New Divisions through recruitment efforts, Ventrilo, Website and Advertisement.

The Northern Kings is a place that you can call home for years to come, there is no need to hop from guild to guild, even though we are a large community we retain the small guild feel due to the close friendships that have been built over the years.
