Not sure what’s going on with your time overlay since when you compare it to other external timers its showing up as 13:44 not 13:42. I verified that cooldowns on the video are matching up with my own timer. Almost seems like your timer is dropping frames or something.

im not sure, i go frame by frame and start and end timer at the exact moment my character moves and when the cutscene is triggered by the endboss kill :C

Not gonna argue about cleric tank/anchor/carry whatever you name it guardian, if it’s just to get smooth reliable but not as fast runs as optimal gear/build/class I can see why one would run it
Having done many fractal 50 duos and trios we averaged 30-50min runs in a duo and about 20-30mins in a trio.
for a duo went with 2 ele ( both strength runes , strength sigil and fried dumpling food) and ele+guard (just for imbued shaman and uncat last boss) the only place I found war+ele useful is uncategorized champions and mossman(if the war can handle the aggro ofc)
I dont think in a trio warrior can replace a 2nd ele for ‘better dps’ especially since i assume you tank the mob(s) with your guardian
I really havent found any need for running anything but zerker in a duo let alone a trio
The 2 ‘hardest’ fractals in a duo/trio which are imo cliffside and grawl can be easily done as long as you run proper comp/build and have good tactics for low man

Couldn’t you speed it up slightly by whirling into the wall and also timing your Defiance Stance with your Hundred Blades (to get the final hit off)?

I tried with always whirling into the wall for some attempts but it just didnt seem to work well for mossman, and with swiftness not affecting it i can get most of the hits off from it
also i did finish my hundred blades off combined with defiant stance whenever I could ^^

Reached my goal of sub 5 mossman solo ^^

Very nice clean run. I’ve been telling my guild for a while now that you can get the chest seal down to one or two hits off the first wave for a while now. Maybe they’ll believe me now. Think I did see one or two cultists that died without getting a hammer charge so maybe possible to get it in the first wave?

What I meant was that Tom’s vid of his engi solo isn’t gonna be that much different with wolves, wolves don’t really add much to the fight other than making it so that it takes way longer because you have to constantly kite and move unless you have a few seconds of blocking/invulnerability. That’s all I meant really, I wasn’t comparing guard DPS to engi DPS though engi is technically one of the best classes for DPS in a solo setting

Depends on what class imo, if you do it on guard the wolves actually add to the fight and make it different as opposed if u would bug them, since i had to blind constantly and watch my aegis more, and had no access to cripple or chill unlike war/engi/ele

So how do you get rid of the wolves?

You spawn them at the start so when you pull mossman to the bridge area it’s out of their aggro range
Also my guard solo was abt 13-14mins aswell iirc without wolves but wasnt going for a time

That girl hit level 80 fractals before you even started playing the game most likely.

Actually I started playing in closed beta and reached fractal 80 about 2-3 weeks after fractal released iirc then took a break from the game after that

actually defiant stance would have been just as ‘OP’ as some ppl claim healing signet to be
weapon swap trait didnt have anything do do with it being possible in fact I did my first attempt with mai trin build (66002) accidently and i got shaman down to 40% in that one
can agree on the survival part, because of being able to tank 1 hit instead of 1 shotted but all of that doesent make it impossible to do on any other class

So I been asked to comment on this, ill just give my thoughts
I see ppl claiming that cleric can be efficient which could be true I guess in a trio run, but a low man run should be about challenge and fun, like someone mentioned before it’s basically a skill less autoattack fest while ur stationary, I dont see the appeal in that at all
About ‘bugging’ the wolves at mossman, I dont think someone who basically gets carried by tank gear/build can have a valid opinion on that

I have a question, I know using wall for you guardian solo help you get that time in under 4 minutes, which is impressive. I was wandering how much difference in time would it be if let’s say instead of wall you would be using bane signet and specc 4/5/0/1/4 with scpeter and torch traited, UC and supreme justice.

Would you still be able to beat your ele solo?

P.S. How much dmg do you reflect back to Archdiviner when he does that projectile spin?

I dont know, would have to test but wall on my guard solo did around 70-90k in total if all 6 projectiles were reflected

Haven’t done an ele solo in a while so decided to do a fast kill on archdiv ^^
