I think dungeons could follow the design AC/CoF/HoTW have. They are not very long and are actually nice to return there even if you don’t need tokens anymore. The monsters health pool don’t feel giganormous and they take around what… 40 minutes top to do. That seems fine to me in a loot/time graphic. Some other dungeons feel really overtuned and most people just avoid them like the plague(Arah, CoE sometimes). In the overtuned examples I’d probably would reduce monsters health and a little bit of damage, one good example would be Arah. The dungeon feels very long by map design already, most people get so fed up on killing trash that they just prefer to run, deagro the trash and fight a boss, so maybe also reducing some trash mobs would also improve it. Dungeon loot seems fine imo. I just wished tough that we coulda get rid of Magic Find attribute in gears(I think on food and banners is fine tough). I hate it in every game I play(d2, d3, this one). This is some sort of problem that could be fixed with a nice RNG mechanic and some people don’t feel like they’re just carrying people around in their back that just want some decent loot due to bad RNG and want to resort to MF gear. On the RNG chance from loot from bosses I think it’s actually pretty fine. Better than when the game was launched, that’s for sure. I’d maybe change the token costs from gear tough. for example(150-helm/gloves/feet,180-shoulder, 210 – Leggings, 240 – Chest and maybe 210-1h weapons/offhands, 240 2h Weapons).

Overall I feel like FoTM and the rhythm it provides was a nice addition and it would be nice if the old dungeons/new incoming dungeons could follow that rhythm.

Impossible to do Arah

So… In Desolation it’s almost impossible finding a group for this dungeon. Everybody is afraid of dying at Lupicus and waste 1 hour of their day on this dungeon, so they just avoid this dungeon like the plague. Any chance you guys can revamp this to be more newbie friendly or give some npcs to follow you in the dungeon(Similar to gw1) or even allow some other dungeon tokens into the arah token so people have a chance to finish their dungeon set?

very small changes… Huge nerf on pve…. Nice alteration for conditionmancers with Terror..
Come on anet… there is like tons of traits that still don’t work properly that need to be looked at… Dunno why all the other classes get some love but we don’t =/

As for now, condition damage feels very gimped if compared to direct damage. It can be override by classes that are not even investing in condition damage. The 25 max cap in dungeons pretty much forces only one person(max two) to go Condition and other condition damagers to go another role or look for another group. I think the cap itself is pointless, and in it’s current state, direct damage is way by far superior to stacking bleeds.
In the best case scenario for CnD, 10 people can do around around 10.000 damage(minimum guess) using skills that at least hit for 1k dmg on a monster, while 3-4 condition damagers are crippling each other to reach 25x(125-160) dmg overall from bleed damage? Are you guys worried with that in spvp and WvWvW? then just make epidemic necros transfer their own bleed stacks instead of overall bleed stacks and there you go.
Why do Condition damagers can’t be in equal field to direct damagers?

I dislike the fact that sometimes my minions can be easily crushed(even with the +50% hp trait) by some random AoE Spell making summoning them a waste(Kholer from AC and Lupicus from Arah are good examples), any chance to reduce AoE/Cleaving effects received by minions or making them more resilient to them?

I would also like to point that some minions skills have a really long cooldown and they could be somehow shorter or at least affected by the % cooldown on minion spells trait, I mean for the cd/dmg/use it has the bone fiend utility use(root and a little more dmg) is laughable

yea i miss corpse spells as well… Guess Anet removed them so necro could be faster in combat instead of waiting for corpses for a build to start being useful, but minions masters atm are pretty disapointing if compared to gw1. Even tough we get different utilities with each minions, i kinda rather the option of raising the usual 10-11 minions instead of these 5-6 and play as I prefer. Even then i have to admit that gw1 mm was way more slow paced than gw2 mm….

I don’t mind the damage thieves actually do, the problem is the safe layer stealth can provide to them while other classes cant get that layer. Being able to basically reset the fight whenever the fight will not go right for someone is not actually a good mechanic and it doesn’t work well in a lot of games, i don’t blame thieves actually for it. I for once liked how Assassins on gw1 worked, they did fine damage and didn’t need stealth, there were nice ways to counter them. But’s is just that stealth is really a hard skill to balance it doesn’t matter which game it is. I am trying to be constructive here.
ArenaNet could improve thieves in some areas so they wouldn’t need to be so stealth reliant.

I’d say the most worrysome problem thieves bring to pvp is how much they can abuse stealth and stealth mechanics. As the way the game is now, the thief can go to stealth several times and due to how many skills/traits they have they can just reset the fight everytime things are going bad for them. Also finishing people in stealth is another very cheap way to render some downed states completely useless. At the point the game is now it is very very frustrating fighting a thief because everytime i know i am gonna get them they simply easily escape and i can’t pretty much do anything about it. It’s probably the easiest class to focus burst damage in pvp and still don’t get penalized that much due to how stealth is. It’s so safe to play thief due to how stealth is atm in pvp that most of the community are just rolling one for almost every pvp activity that there is. Burst damage could be tweaked a little bit, but it is better than it was before.

Bad move Anet. You will be forcing WvW players to have to grind the dungeon.
Guild Wars 2 don’t need gear trendmill. And you guys don’t need people quiting the game because of it. Just reward people with better looking items.

The lack of more viable builds for necromancers due to bugs, bad sinergy from traits and other reasons(complete useless minion AI for example) is what is dragging the class down imo.

Box of Berserker's Draconic Armor

I spent 10g(which took me a lot of time to earn) today on this item and it awarded me a completely different armor, in this case, it awarded me a berserker’s gladiator set(which is a rare set). Please note that berserker’s gladiator armor, has it own box and the draconic armor is an exotic set. The game mislead me on thinking I was gonna be awarded with the exotic draconic set, but I think it’s a bug and the gladiator set was given me by accident. I already sent this information to the support team and I am waiting feedback.
I am just trying to warn you guys before you think on buying this set while also trying to obtain an aditional feedback about it.
So please be careful before you buy this item
