At the location I am at the moment, I don’t get any shadows indoor as there isn’t any direct light source to produce them. And since GW2 renderer isn’t exactly trying for radiosity... well, do you have any particular location on your mind that I should test?

I always thought that FXAA on the login screen doesn’t work for some obscure technical reason with compositing into that particular background and never gave it much thought afterwards...
But you are actually very right, logging into the game and back sets FXAA properly even for the login screen. Yay!
You’re my personal hero, now my login screenshots can be much prettier.
(But yeah, from this perspective, it’s clearly a bug that should be fixed.)

I’m seeing something probably remotely related to this issue. While the last update (very) slightly improved my overall framerate, I’m now getting constant few-seconds long lockups every odd 10 minutes while travelling through zones (same as in OP’s case, my HW nor SW configuration didn’t change from yesterday).
I didn’t figure out the exact pattern yet, but the behavior suggests this to be happening when entering a new grid (depending on how the zones are internally partitioned, it’s obviously hard to guess from the player’s perspective). Needless to say, this happens regardless of the actual I/O load (there is usually none at the moment of the lockup, which then lasts for a few seconds, and the game then resumes normally), and only started exhibiting with today’s update.
Something clearly changed in the game’s renderer and this should be investigated further, especially if more people confirm sudden major performance issues.

There are at least 3 other maps giving exotics rewards besides this one, and they don’t require PS to complete.
Also in case you didn’t notice recently, exotic gear goes for 50s-1g a piece these days. I routinely break it to ectoplasm globs because it’s not even worth selling anymore.
So your point being again?

Supposedly, access to Fort Trinity POI should have been fixed in the last update, for people that are not interested in doing the unbelievably boring and frustrating personal storyline*, but still care for having this particular map finished (map/world completion being kind of a big deal in Guild Wars 2):
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/story/Fort-Trinity-POI/first#post120158
Yet I can see no mention of a fix in the patch notes, nor can find any changes on the location. What is the status of this bug and/or more importantly – when it will get fixed so I can complete this map?
(* – Personal note to further posters: If you, as a player, liked the “personal storyline” of whatshisface Treharne, I’m happy for you, and I’m really glad you enjoyed it. But there are many people, both in the forums and in the game, that absolutely hate it and consider this part to be the worst and most tiresome aspect of the entire game.
I for most part share their feelings. If I was interested in grinding through tens of neverending, boring, uninspired, badly scripted, badly acted and badly voiced “missions”, lacking any kind of actual gameplay other than running from trigger to a trigger, slashing through unending waves of mindless enemies, I’d buy me a singleplayer copy of Mass Effect, not a “Massively Multiplayer Online RPG”-game. Thank you for your understanding of this simple concept and not flaming this post, even in case you actually happen to love “personal storylines”.)

Well, I gave it a try "just in case" and I can confirm the skillpoint still works after what it has been like, 8 hours now? Constantly melting under barrage of blows and shots (if the mechanics made it possible, there would be literally a queue of people forming to get it, it’s a fun sight), but as of now it’s always respawning in the right place.
Based on that, I’d say it *maybe* has been really fixed.

Can anyone confirm this has been *actually* fixed and not only temporarily remedied by a server restart, so those of us who couldn’t grab it in the middle of the night now won’t waste any more money on pointless teleports just to find it missing again?

Compensate players for devasting bugs (i.e. all my gems disappeared for no reason).

"I have no idea why these tools are not there. "
I have. So Arena can have an universally transparent excuse for their horrible lack of customer support anytime it comes handy (which is like, every time).
Just my uneducated guess after reading these forums for some while.

How many more weeks of reporting will it take to get this bug fixed? This particular skill point location now looks like a place where free iphones are being handed out, every day.
Needless to say, people always leave with nothing.
