It is pretty obvious that DR nor Ferg has any resistance at the moment or the numbers would be very different. Tactics is nice and all but it is pretty simple to see there is a vast population difference in this time period in WvW now. You just don’t cap all 4 maps within a few hrs with resistance. It just doesn’t happen. Don’t get me wrong, it is nice to see Kaineng getting some more people, but it is pretty obvious that WvW numbers are no longer a concern for them.
Well if you lose the torch, you can always use ground targeting skills.

Assuming this is the oceanic guild’s doing. They are about to go to sleep and time for the euro group to enter (assuming you got one). West coast picks up around 4pm – 12am eastern.

I am a bit surprised by that but it is likely noone is in wvw for ferg or DR. It is still within the grasp at only 40k down. Assuming you have a presence when others don’t. Generally makes it easy.
1. No no no no no
2. Zone transfers should have a cost albeit should be a little lower. (over 4s per tele is crazy) In zone transfers shouldn’t in IMHO.
3. This is stupid. My lvl 80 ranger and lvl 22 mesmer can both 2 shot mobs from the 1-15 zones. My ranger can pretty much kill mobs with little to no effort until the 40-50 zone and even those aren’t hard. If you are lvl 40+ character and are having problems against the low level mobs just wait til you get to Orr.
4. Event timers would be an excellent back up to fixing events. Lets face it there are sooooo many variables in doing dynamic events that it will take a while to get right. Even when they are fixed you can still have an inadvertant spawn that traps a moving event or anything. A hard timer would be good as no event lasts longer than an hr at present that I have seen.
5. I actually like this as you can really get some good drops from lvl 84-85 mobs lol. Highest I have seen is lvl 82 mobs and those almost always give me green or rare drops. I don’t think I would like to see a lvl 90 risen champion giant though… (Defend Arah)
6. Really!? How about read the text of the NPC. As for the 3g comment two words “Natural Selection”.
7. Respawn rates aren’t that bad but do need some tweeking in certain areas. Got to love the Snow trolls in Frostgorge.
8. Not needed. Vistas and jump puzzles were ment to be difficult. Some players just plain can’t do some jump puzzles because of low FPS.

3hrs ago the deficit between ferg and kaining was roughly 48k points. So assuming this hasn’t changed much in the last 3 hrs. Kaineng would have to maintain at least 140 point average lead over fergusson the rest of the time remaining. That would be tough but not unobtainable. Late last night ferg had very few points on the map left. DR and Kaineng had the the vast majority.
Making the change should be rather simple as they have already limited the affected number of people in an AOE to 5. Which is just looney in my opinion.

Balidore in which zone? I was on last night and we (Ferg) were getting pushed back by Kaineng [War] and company. About 30-35 Kaineng vs 15-20 Ferg in the langdor before we left the tower since we were out of supply and were getting pounded by seige from the kaineng keep and the invulverable zone with mortars and trebs respectively. Honestly, I think WvWvW population depends on each server having different peak hrs. Like now I am at work for my 10 hrs or so.
It does seem like that. I mostly only see a few guilds in WvW. Namely [SANC]. I haven’t seen as much presense in recent weeks but that could be do to IRL reasons though.
Yea this has been a fun match up. I was in Langor last night and Kaineng was trebbing our tower from the invulnerable area…….. that is a little dirty for my taste but all is fair in love and war. We got pushed back to Quentin. I have to say on that same line treb placement for all 3 sides is quite interesting. The range of them is crazy and all you need is a spotter to do some out of sight attacking.
Kardiamond, that ability for a downed warrior is called Vengence. It is like a 30sec “I am gonna kick your butt before I die completely” skill. I believe there is a trait that allows for vengence to rally a player if you kill something though but not positive.
you shouldn’t be able to kill 8 people at a time by yourself anyways unless they are really dumb and bunch up for your AOEs and stay there twiddling their thumbs. The only thing that I see this doing is giving a decisive advantage to defending groups. *immobilize**dmg spike* and repeat for next target. Widdling down large zergs easily. I would like the AOE person limit to affect everyone in the aoe and not just 5 people though. In a 50 person zerg those AOEs would effectively give an individual a 90% evasion rate assuming all 50 were in the AOE circle which is insane.
Well that does make hit and run tactics more useful especially on home borderlands. That also gives defenders an advantage by just spiking zergs members until there are no more. It is probably better the way it is atm. Personal opinion as I would rather have a more offensive map than a defensive one.

I do wish they would fix the vault so we can get some free siege equipment though. Also I am not a fan of servers camping the jump puzzles. IMO it would be better to have those areas give invulnerability to everyone, but that will never happen. We will continue to have players build balistas/arrow carts inside to kill people who jump into the waterfall.

I personally have really enjoyed the increased competition from Kaineng. The influx of a few guilds has really increased the strength of your server. I don’t get on as much as I want to but when I do i have fun now. Before it was either, Ferg is stomping Kaineng/DR or either Ferg is getting stomped by server in next teir up. Ferg doesn’t have the numbers to beat the next tier servers but does have a slight advantage in numbers over Kaineng and DR. Unfortunately, neither server can even remotely fill all 3 borderlands and EB but we do what we can. I just wanted to say cheers to Kaineng and hope you guys keep up the good fight. DR with any luck you guys will get more guilds to come in that are getting tired of long queues.
