No tonic can be crafted by artificers at this time. The ones on the tp are drops from dungeons usually and none of them are mystery tonics. The only mystery tonics in the game at this time are the account bound ones. So no get rich for artificers ( I am a 400 artificer btw).
All legendary weapons are trade able thus far, I’m also yet to find a gift created weapon that is not – you can see most of them up for sale on the trading post – if they’re not there it doesn’t mean they’re not, its just they haven;t been traded yet. That’s all.
It use to be cook, artificng, jeweller, leather worker and cloth.
Armor, weapon and huntsman were expensive due to their trophy costs. Now though, the t4-5 mats have all crashed in price so they’re all viable choices. Still if u want purely levels, leave 2 from armoursmith, weaponsmith and huntsman as they require a lot of metal ore (your primary cost).
@Cappy. Probably because he has 3 level 80 characters. If you have multiple characters there’s not much incentive to do personal story many times as story is average, same ending in all and we’re still waiting on token rewards at end. Bottom line, it’s an alt. Credit to OP, One legendary is very hardwork – I still need 100g to finish my first (and probably only) legendary.

Nodes are character bound and AN have said in the past they have no reason to change this. I have multiple farming toons and they still remain character bound.
I don;t think this is infinite light, its more liekly to be the hammer. Inifinite “LIGHT” – more likely it will need gift of light than gift of lightning. Just my thoughts as this would be a very expensive failure on not making infinite light. If you’re rich, go for it but if you’re that rich then you could make a legendary?
If you want to start experimenting, all the exotics need an eldritch scroll thus far, they all appear to use mystic coins too. So there are 2 of your ingredients. Play around with the forge and find out the 4th. You need not make the item, just see if there are 4 materials which go together.
@Fender. Lulz, Superior Sigil of Fire combines because that’s the recipe for incinerator. 1 superior sigil of fire + gift of liquid flame + gift of metal + 100 icy rune stones.
It was suggested earlier volcanus maybe the obsidian shard + onyx core recipe and I think this might be right. Volcano and obsidian are intertwined and I have a gut feeling this might be right. If not then you just need to find the 4th item in your scroll + vial + coin recipe. GL and let us know if you have any luck.
Buying to sell at higher price is perfectly fine, but acquiring those goods through a means that was not intended is and gaining an advantage is an exploit. Your argument hinges on the fact that, oh it’s evening itself out its fine now. Um, that was inevitable.
My point is it shouldn;t have been possible to start and because of it people did/ can gain an advantage. The fact the advantage isn’t game breaking doesn;t detract from the benefits. Also it wasn’t insignificant, one could still be 10-20g better off if not more. It also explains why charged lodestones were only 60s a few days ago.
I’ll leave it at this. People already bought cores 20s or less. The can potentially save 10-20s per lodestone. Charged cores go at 25-30s (were at 40s but dropped dramatically, probably due to the glacial error). If bought at 20s or less that equates to 10-20g saved (need 100 lodestones for recipe and 2 cores per lodestone). Which in turn they can sell for that profit…. but lodestone will inevitably rise in price and thus increase their profits.
Yes its not on the same scale as the karma exploit but quite a few people will have made healthy profits from this. Something they shouldn;t have been able to do. You can still make profits off the charged cores as we agree the economy will even itself out and both cores will reach an equilibrium but the fact remain glacial cores shouldn’t have been able to make a different parent lodestone (need confirmation on AN to confirm it was a bug).
I’m buying onyx cores/ lodestones for my legendary so have no interest in this recipe but just because eventually the market adjusts itself doesn;t mean the issue isn’t/ wasn;t exploited. Anyway, I’ll leave it at that.
@Levelord. If it’s not intended it most definitely is an exploit. Exploit is anything that allows people to do things that weren’t intended by the designer to gain an unfair advantage. If it’s just an error its a bug, if you can gain an advantage its an exploit.
Glacial cores making charged lodestones seems like a bug but can now be used as an exploit. The reason glacial cores are starting to match charged is because this recipe has gotten out and its a ‘cheaper’ alternative. They will soon match. Glacial cores were 10s 3 days ago, 14s this morning.
If you can make an item cheaper than its retailing/ suppose to be made that’s gaining an unfair advantage on the player base. If AN intended glacial cores to make charged lodestones (which I highly doubt) then there’s no issue. But if they didn;t then they need to fix the recipe – probably already too late as a lot of the glacial cores will have been bought for 20s mark and thus allowed people to save tens of gold in lodestone These same people can potentially sell the lodestones for considerable profits.
Lodestone prices will soon rise because of this recipe, markets are fluid, but even wth wine prices they can potentially make these lodestones for around the 75s mark. The lodestone are around 1g retail and only climbing as word of this recipe spreads.
Wow, that’s almost certainly a bug and have filed a bug report. Makes no sense for glacial items to make charged items, might be because of the typo in glacial lodestone. Hopefully they’ll close this exploit asap.
Charged cores make charged lodestones and glacial make glacial lodestones lol. BUT there’s is a typo with glacial lodestones and it appears in game as glacial loNestone i.e. n instead of d.

Volcanus may well follow a similar recipe but rather than gift of light it uses vial of quick silver (i.e. the gift for daggers which needs gift of balfaer etc).
Sorry, forgot to mention, the item I placed was the immobulus – exotic L80 scepter. appear on my to sell window but unable to dearch for it via trading post. never been on tp before.

I’m sure you guys will figure it out, but you’ll end up spending 20-30g on mats. Don’t wanna say full recipe til I sell my scepter lol (need money for my legendary). Having an issue with the scepter showing on th tp as for sale though – filed bug report. As in the ‘true’ picture, don;t have as I haven;t equipped (but I bought mats for me to make one later).
But this the preview code [&AgFReQAA] – remmeber it may have extra animations but I can;t tell as I haven;t equipped. It’s a pretty moon and star scepter, probably one of the better looking skins. It’s also a bit girly but a lot of people (myself included) love it.

I asked this on reddit and got no reply. I too had the same logic as you and triend ancient scepter stuff. I agree it’s likely coin + eyes + scroll + x.
Just need to figure what x is. What we should do is make a list of thing which don;t combine with those 3 until we find immobulus. I want it really badly lol. I know planks which do combine make a staff (melandru’s) so don;t use that. Globs of ecto and lodestones are the obvious suggestions which come to mind. Mystic clovers don;t combine also. I’ll have a look at t6 mats later.
