The sword and pistol look amazing. However, if these weapons are stuck behind another rng ticket/chest system… I don’t even have words that properly express my disappointment. The past few (dragon bash and southsun,) weapons were nice looking, but the rng is so lopsided. Some people in my guild have gotten multiples, but despite the fact I have put countless hours into killing everything in sight across every zone in the game (except orr) I never got a ticket. I’m not saying they should be freely available, but if someone puts the time in they should get rewarded for it. This total randomness is just not fun.

I don’t post much, but I gotta give props to DB. You guys are over matched against us (BG) and JQ, yet you are not just laying down and playing dead. The fights I have been in with you have been some of the best and most fun in a long time. Even with your lack of numbers you are a force to be reckoned with and you should feel proud of how you have been doing against the #2 and #3 servers. /bow

Your case has absolutely nothing to do with elitism. A group leader wanted to do speed farm CoF p1. The other group members joined thinking to do the same. While you may think 10 minutes is a decent time record, even pug groups can manage 7 minute runs with ping-gear-checked zerker warriors/mesmer that all know what they are doing. And pulling the Slave Driver is pretty much the basic of basics as the mesmer’s role in CoF p1 farming. While you may stick around for only a couple of runs, a lot of those groups farm p1 for HOURS, and a 3 minute difference per run is huge. So if the group leader’s not happy with your job, you should know you had every right to start your own group to enforce your own standards on speed farming.

He didn’t kick you because you weren’t as good as him (“I can do better than you, gtfo”), he kicked you because he thought you were the reason the group was not up to whatever standard he expected (“I can save time with a better mesmer”). This kind of reasoning has nothing to do with elitism.

I read forums constantly but rarely post, but this I had to. Are you insane?! This is the very definition of elitism! 3 minutes?! Are you really going to complain over 3 minutes?! This guy even said he was told that had he done everything proper it would have shaved 20 SECONDS! Not 3 minutes.. 20 SECONDS! This is the reason so many people are anti pug and miss out on running dungeons. They hear stories like this and think OMG! If you are going to kick someone because he cost you 20 seconds in a run, you REALLY need to reevaluate your life choices.

I love this game and honestly have no life and play way more then I should, but even when we are trying to do speed runs in my guild with pug people we tell them what they could have done better and then run it again to help them improve. If we can make 10 minutes with even 1 pug we are ecstatic.

When this kind of stuff happens I place all the elitist (insert favorite expletive here) on ignore and never deal with them again. We play games for FUN. Not to be slammed because we cost someone a precious 20 seconds of their life.

Here is my Guardian. Tier 1 Sylvari cultural with TA helm. Weapons are Moonshine and Chalice of the Gods, I love the look of these.

Back slot Placement:
Asura Tier 1 Cultural Armor.

I play an Asura (Male) Engineer. After hitting 80 I decided to buy some Cultural Armor. However, a very odd placement bug with the back slot item appeared as soon as I equipped the Protean (Tier 1 Asura Cultural Armor.) Anything that shows on the back slot appears sideways and sticking straight out. This happens with any equipped back slot item such as the Mad King book, but what is most disturbing is that it appears with ALL of the Engineer weapon kits! My kits look like messed up fanny packs with a missing strap. Back slot items can be hidden, kits cannot. As I have a kit equipped 95% of the time, this is a serious graphical problem.

The screenshots below were taken after I transmuted the pieces onto L80 Exotic gear, however the issue began with the vanilla Protean pieces even before transmutation. This issue happens with any of the Protean pieces (Tier 1 Asura Cultural Armor.) The Tier 2 Asura Cultural Armor, (at least the helm,) does not cause the problem. Removing all of the Protean pieces fixes the back slot, however even one piece being equipped causes the problem.

Not going to read 25 pages so if this is a rehash oh well.
I seem to recall Anet saying something along the lines of legendary comparable armors coming out sometime after release. Exotic is not the top tier for weapons, legendary is. So releasing this new armor is nothing more then them doing exactly what they planned in the first place. A tier above Exotic and on par with Legendary is not cause for freaking out.

As I said, nothing on my account or my characters has been changed. They were all right where I left them and everything was intact. The only thing different is the home server being changed. My wife is the only person that is in the house with me and not only does she not know my password, she was asleep. This is not something that happened on my end. As far as my account being compromised, where is the logic in breaking into someone’s account and only transferring them to a different server?

If my account has been compromised the only they did was transfer me. All my characters are right where I left them and nothing is missing.

I submitted a ticket regarding this issue and got a canned response that was totally unrelated to what I wrote.

Unauthorized server transfer:
When I logged on to the game on Saturday (Nov 10th) my account had been transferred to HoD. I did not authorize any server transfer! I have been on Crystal Desert since beta. I do not know what happened here. I have never even considered transferring servers. When I looked at my account to see what happened it said I had 6 days before I could transfer. I understand the whole 7 day thing, however, I did NOT authorize the server transfer in the first place! What I am asking is to be put back on Crystal Desert because I did not authorize a transfer. The only thing I can think of is that someone with a similar account tag was trying to transfer and the database got confused and transferred me instead. Please restore my home server back to Crystal Desert. The server transfer was not made by me.
