Or reduce the AoE spam in those events by a large margin. Those are what kills everyone.
Seriously, 20+ AoEs scattered on the ground at once during an NPC escort isn’t right.
Well, I did end up having a success yesterday, but that was because we had a ginormous zerg (50+ people) at the event so things were dying fast enough that we could keep up with the ginormous pact losses in those areas. Barely. We reached the altar with like 10% morale left and it was all drained in those two areas where the enemies spam AoE all over the place.
EDIT: Problem is here:
“Updated skillsets for several krait and undead creatures to make them more entertaining to fight.”
Looks like some of those “updated” skills for undead are making Balth and Arah chains in Orr almost impossible to complete. Perhaps they should be reverted for now until Anet can come up with a better solution that doesn’t screw these events up?

You know the event where you have to escort Pact troops to the temple before their morale is depleted? It seems to have had a huge spike in failure rates recently. This is despite everything, coordinating reinforcements from Central and North (South was broken, couldn’t get them), destroying all the dangerous stuff as quick as possible, and just doing the event as best we could with a good amount of people. In two areas, we had HUGE losses in the pact morale in the space of seconds, dropping from 100% to 50% and 50% to 10% instantly, and ultimately causing the event to fail despite us doing everything right.
Is anyone else having a lot more trouble with the Balth events after the update? Could the new event scaling be causing this?
If it is the new event scaling, than that would mean the problem is likely too many people. And for an open-world event, that’s not good.
