If you know how a zweihander or big swords like a scottish claymore should be used in rl, all the animations are horrible. But this is just a game and the animations are fancy to look at, so it’s good.

I may not be objective enough since my warrior is still at low level, but my main guardian doesn’t get much survivability either if I don’t pull out my shield and tank skills. Yes the high level thief in WvW managed to cut my health down to 15% in 5 sec but I managed to pull back up with a big heal and I’m specced in there.

I can say this pve wise, my warrior killed 3 times faster than my guardian while losing health 2 times faster, it makes up. My warrior is dual wielding main hand sword and off hand axe, with longbow secondary. Longbow for warrior the way I see it is for group pvp support, not for solo pvp. Pick rifle if you wish to 1v1 blow him up when he pulled distance, the damage is insanely impressive, even almost on par with my p/p s/d thief at same level.

All classes have very bugged traits and skills. You gotta wait til they fixed them, but warrior is not much worse then other classes. Be patient, improvise and take advantage of skill combos. All in all the design was ok, and you don’t know what glass cannon really is until you played a thief or elementalist.

If you managed to kill all the mobs, what’s the point of Sirean’s sacrifice? The mobs cleaning before the final stand told you how tough each mob is. You know how hopeless it is when they swarm over to your area. So aggro them with ae is pretty much certain death. It’s a scene of desperate battle, desperate and hopeless that you were forced to run.

Of course it could be done with more grace. Say cut scene the immediately when you died and make Sirean do her things.

A lot of personal quests have inconsistent difficulties for different professions and builds. I haven’t tried out every branch yet but I do agree it’s going to take immense amount of efforts to ensure each combination can have optimal difficulties.

I appreciate Jeffrey’s swift response to player’s requests, but please don’t overdo it. Adequate difficulty is needed for the story to be fun and feel epic. Major combats like Claw Island and Defending Priory should have proper difficulty and make players think “hmm.. So I can’t hit them face on like that, is there an alternative?”, reward those who think before they act.

Hmm… even if Jennah is that awesome, that doesn’t mean she could handle her political rivals alone. She needs people on her side and make sure no backhanding is smacking around under her scope. Logan had been blowing through schemes all along and we can see Divinity’s Reach’s politic is far more complicated than other races.

I blame Eir on the decision to go on. She should have consulted Snaff, but could they make it through even if Logan’s there? I don’t think so. They could be matyrs enough as an example of sacrifice but either case the world would still be under threats of the Dragons.

Should Ned Stark had accepted King Robert’s appointment to the Hand of the King? If not the series couldn’t be so epic and awesome.

I personally would prefer a commoner’s outfit. They would think an NPC was running at their direction then “wtf?”

What is the other thief doing? The stun hits only one guy, and your thief friend and you, could do the same. If you are outgeared, then gg. If you are outskilled, then well, get over it, learn from his tactics and be a better thief.
