I Google’d a bit around and found this:
I was struggling with this issue as well. I was about to re-download, when I upgraded my video card drivers. I use ATI, and I updated to 2.4. Running on Windows 7 64-bit. Works fine now. I hope this helps someone.
If you haven’t updated your GFX drivers, try that out. i think it’s the same with Nvidia cards.
I know what you mean.
BTW did you let Windows install your keyboard, or did you download the drivers from the fabricator?
Try updating your keyboard drivers.
- What message do you get from the blue screen?
- Do you get any memory dumps?
- Try reseating your last bought hardware
- Take out your ram sticks, dust the off and reseat them. (Your could also try running with one stick. If it works, take it out and try with the next stick. Do this with all of them. If one stick gives the bsod and the other doesn’t. Try with all sticks except the one giving the bsod. If it works, the one memory stick is fried.
- Dust your graphic, cpu etc..

Try the beta installer. It should download the same file.

thanks i did not think to run it as a admin
Your welcome.
Did it work?
cleared the dust, 50 now. Should check the temperature with game running.
Great. 50 is a progress. Give us a update when you have tested it. That way we can link other people to this thread if something simular occours.
Well if you can live with it, be patient and hope for a patch to fix it. Would be sad if you wasted money on a keyboard and someone found a workaround the next day, or a patch that fixes it
.
Try disabling antivirus, and run the game as administrator.
Try downloading the beta installer:

Wow that a lot. Try installing MSI afterburner to control your GPU fan. Im using it, and i have noticed that GW2 makes the GFX’s work a lot. You can make the fan run a defined speed depending on the degrees.

It seems a bit strange, since it occurs in non crowded areas. Try update your chipset, motherboard etc, I have no idea if it works, but it’s worth a try.
Also try disabling high res textures and set the character animation to low. They seems to make some weird problems for some people.

They should make a limit, so you can’t send mails before you hit lvl 5 or something, that lowers the problem a bit. And yes, i agree that a report mail button should be implemented.
This solves nothing except having them bot to level 5 before spamming or using more hacked accounts which are already higher than level 5.
You got a point there. I just remember from LOTRO, that you couldn’t mail after a couple of lvls, and that did minimize it a bit.
Hacked accounts will always be a issue, since the gold sellers can spam everyone before the Admins will notice anything, except if its repportet fom the original owner before the gold sellers have a chance to send the mails.
Try setting “Character animation” to low. Works for some people.
If your running 64 bit, also try unchecking “High resolution textures”.
- Start by turning the router off, wait 20-30 sec¨’s and turn it on again
- Check if your router have activated “UPnP”. If it isn’t activated, do it.. UPnP needs to be activated so the firewall doesn’t close the wrong ports.
- As a last resort, try resetting the router for 30 seconds. You could also do the *30/30/30 to be sure.
*
- Hold the reset for 30sec
- After the 30sec, pull out the power cable while still holding the reset button, and wait 30 more sec’s.
- Insert the cable again while still holding the reset button, and wait 30 more sec’s.
- Remove the pen from the reset button, and wait for your computer to get a connection.

It sound weird. Have you tried using a wired keyboard.
I found this but they found no workaround

ok, i’ve already updated all i could to fix this problem, googling just doesnt help(don’t know what shouldi google exactly), now i check for heat problems.
Try this:
http://www.guildwars2guru.com/topic/57231-possible-fix-for-freezes-and-crashes-please-read/
Okay try this.
- Update all your hardware (gfx, sound, motherboard etc…)
- Google things simular to your problem and try the solutions people give
- Dust off your pc! Like Ceallach wrote, dust is a known problem for computers that freezes like the problem you explained.
- Try disable your antivirus and test it for a couple of hours (beware that your system isn’t secured while doing this, so try having this as your last resort.
Also, while playing, even if master sound turned to minimum i sometimes hear a loud sound that is like something have fallen in the cave or sort of
That sounds like it isn’t a connection lag issue, but more like a hardware or software issue. Did you update the graphic drivers? If not:

Try setting the character animation to low. Works for some people. Mostly for those with the out of memory error, but also for people who only get’s a black screen.

Turn character animation to low. It should fix the out of memory problem.
For people who have 64 bit, try disabling high res texture.
If you use auto settings (low, high and auto), low will have high res disabled, auto will depend on your system and high will activate high res. Some people have occured that it will activate the high res on 32 bit systems even though you can’t check/uncheck it. Maybe it has been fixed with the new updates since release, but check it anyway
