In an effort to draw a line under this saga and contrary to popular belief, Xaoc are not responsible for the financial collapse of the western world, global warming, the current plight of RoF and WsR or the oncoming of the zombie apocalypse.

They are a group of people who are extremely enthusiastic about WvW, they may have a different take on the game to some which may not be to everyone’s taste, but they certainly enjoy themselves doing it.

As a community, we have offered our explanations as to our decision, we were under no obligation to do so. We have been open and honest about it but it is clear some people are so entrenched in their own belief’s that no amount of factual information will alter their opinions. A sad indictment of the world we live in.

As I see it the only posters trying to blow this out of all proportion are the ones from GH. The only thing highlighted in this thread by non GH posters is the hypocrisy shown by some from GH who posted some persistant accusations and unsavoury comments on the Vabbi Alliance thread when Xaoc moved there and started advertising for recruitment. At the time GH did not have such a dominant position in tier 8 and were naturally worried that things might change for the worst. Now you try to justify your sudden change of heart by claiming “its ok to be ticking at 600 points, we were doing it before the transfer.”

Just to stress the point nobody is knocking your for strengthening your server or indeed knocking Xaoc (with the exception of 1 or 2). But the sudden change of heart of some and hypocisy of some on the server leave a bad impression. Only a week ago many of you were in uproar about Xaoc’s move to Vabbi, stressing how it upsets the balance. But now its ok for you. Maybe some of you should refrain from making rash comments on other threads and it might not leave such an impression again.

As for the sob story. There are quite a few servers that make the claim of being the most hard done by, you only have to look at Far Shiverpeaks who ofc has been worst affected by the free transfers and guild exodus. Stop banging on about it as if the game owes you.

Again i will chuck this out, a few people are not the whole community. So saying/implying that my opinion (I was a poster) covers all GH is just foolish. I Can’t be sure if my view of Xaoc is clear at the moment, and i will not know until next tier+

RoF players come over and whine.. then instigate a bit of conflict. Such as this Korran or whatever his name is from [PI] who just comes here because he is upset about not winning clearly over the past two weeks that he has been whining.

Yeah they’ve further spoilt an already imbalanced matchup. GH now really does outnumber everyone 3-1, even RoF. I hope you guys bundle up a few quick tiers so you can get those ‘fair fights’. Just hope all these glory hunters you keep bringing in don’t drop you too hard when the fights get fair again (cos my god that is a lot of glory hunters now)

Oh what a shame. Sorry that we vastly outnumber you i am, however this is our server and we will do what it takes to make it better. I will not explain the reasons but would say that you would do the same in our position.

A small amount of people don’t represent Gunnar’s hold and the whole community only an idiot would think that. We are moving up in tiers, we will need numbers and we welcomed Xaoc.. so be mad for all i care.

You simply cannot hold +500 points by moving equal numbers of troops around. It was +500 arounf 2am and now at 3:30 its still +500. It’s been up and down a little from that, but you simply cannot do that with equal numbers.

What are you talking about.. you are pulling things out of your kitten. We were outnumbered in the garrison all night almost apart from one time and possibly when we attacked garrison which was countered by a nice attack by NP. You are not reading right, Its not that we are even as in equal numbers, but the numbers are not TOO much different. On the topic of points it is reset… see what happens to the point tick during the week.

As stated before it is the reset and we have always had a strong one. As for you acknowledging us as good then don’t for all i care. Perhaps i am in the right place at the right time but the group i run with are usually very out numbered. Take most of the night at garrison until we called a few back to your border. We don’t have to prove anything at all really to ourselves at least.. we have been massively organised this reset and things will keep on during the week too. You was not complaining this bad on the first week you met us though you have to remember. In fact i believe it was the opposite tables. It is hard to tell how many numbers each side have but i still think they are around about even during the week. The consistency seems to be higher in numbers during the days as well.

As for being proud of our legendary wins, i am really kitten proud of what we have achieved like we all are on GH and for good reason. I have massive respect for you all RoF, you have given myself some the best fights in my mmo history and i hope during the week we can have a few more.

And for yourself the people who claim its the numbers that are winning it? Perhaps some numbers in the right place do help, as i have seen RoF put out aswell. You call it fully numbers i call it organisation to give us this lead tonight. Garrison on your borders is an example. Next week will be tough but we will keep the organisation up and if we come across RoS or Vabbi.. RoS looking the most likely then we will give them a good fight i can tell you.

Yup they got the same numbers as us but got to +500 ppt by being more mobile… shakes head and wonders why they bother with the equality pretence.

The organisation this week has been insane.. had some plans put into effect that have been rolling for a while. The Garrison attack for example which was co-ordinated by three guilds. Numbers are not amazingly bad as we have found defending, when you almost capped garrison we had called attacks off to defend who got there in time. You were not complaning about numbers 3 weeks ago when you were spawn camping us in EB :P Lets see what the reset brings.. we have always had a solid start.

Saying the numbers are about even is a complete joke as can be seen now by the sheer amount of people you have in Rof borderlands which basically outnumbers us.
I know you guys take pride in your organisation and like to think we have none, but your numbers sure do help. I think thats something you need to realise when you go into the next tier as you won’t have the number advantage over there. Because right now it seems GH is slowly developing a god/superiority complex.
Just to make things clear, I really like you guys as opponents but sometimes it seems like you think your the only organised server in this tier and that your numbers don’t hold an advantage over us.
Not to mention the fact you basically decided not to attack whiteside at all this week which gives you a huge number advantage you won’t have in an even matchup.

Hard to tell about the numbers.. from what i see we are evenish in numbers, I don’t think anyone has stated that you have no organisation AT ALL, so you are just pulling that out to start an argument it seems or you are upset about something. I can tell you we have been pushing WSR hard too this week as i have been leading the attack every night with the group i am running in. RoF Is pretty kitten organised. And if anyone was to state that then they would be talking out of there kitten, But you just seem to have a grudge against GH for some apparent reason. I believe people have been focused on you being RoF because you are the closes to the lead. The same thing yourselves would do if you were in this position.

Whenever i come across RoF they are in numbers either ICON and NP or SOGR (not sure if this is the right tag sorry) or others. But its hard to tell as i never spend time in EB or GH borders.

We went to bed :P hence the 0 defense in Hills haha we would have held hills a little more however we were just all dropping off one by one so we called it. There was a good 30+ around hills most of the night which CHvc, SOE, imp, Core and many others held off for a good few hours. In fact we were massively outnumbered at some points, such as the fights with SOGR and in the lords room at two points that night. Much fun on the borders last night and hoping for many more fun fights this week!

I’m just wandering why everyone loves so much our BL – by our i mean RoF. My answer is that both other servers thing that we are the main and the most interesting opponent. Also both want to test their strength and might and ours too. I’m really proud of RoF today! GH from right, WR from left. We just wiped GH and WR came from the same place and then the opposite. It was a big fun. Keep up guys!

Why? It’s simple. Out of the two servers you will be the biggest threat to first place it’s not about you being the most interesting however yes.. somewhat the main opponent. Sure you have some brilliant players, but as do we and i know WSR have some too. From where i stand, WSR are attacking you because they thing us the stronger of the two perhaps. Either way, look to alot more action on your border this week!

Action? you are sitting on +655 ticks aye.. What will happen when there is no ground to take. Stick around the top of the map waiting for Breakouts? Perhaps they are having a bit more action and its not really my place to say anything not being from that server. But like it or not you are dragging the server up rather than the Vabbi groups achieving anything themselves.

Do you really think the well.. people that actually formed what was of the WvW community up will want to be boosted to the top and destroy everything?

Possibly at the end of the week depending on what people think about it. I personally would be up for it however numbers could be an issue in one of these, as you seem to field alot more players than us at the moment. Looking forward to upcoming fights with yourselves and with RoF and WSR.

What I don’t get about GH is how they keep saying how fun and balanced this matchup is but spend the entire week trying to recruit guilds from their opponents which would basically unbalance it…

I don’t think we have tried to recruit any guild this week apart from the normal posts around the forums and the like. Any Guilds that have moved here have been welcomed sure, but apart from the one post in here a few hours ago i have seen no more than that. Eitherway it has been a balanced match so far to what we have seen in the upper tiers and throughout the past few weeks. What I don’t get with RoF is most of the bad sportsmanship i have seen around the battleground’s and out of it. (Not talking about the whole side here)

It’s not necessarily that people don’t care it’s more you can’t expect decent numbers outside of primetime due to the fact we have a pretty low pop server and few dedicated WvW guilds.

It would be fair to assume the numbers wouldn’t take a sudden nose dive two evenings on the bounce when we were running in a healthy second place though and would be fair to assume when there are more than enough people to defend a fully upgraded garrison from a group of 10-15, that they don’t care, when they sit farming kills at Dreaming Bay (with an outside wall at 80%) when there was ample time to WP to the garr three times before the attackers eventually breached :s It was perfectly possible to defend the Garrison, and put up a fight at Dreaming Bay. Even if both would have eventually been lost to sheer weight of numbers (I doubt we’d have actually lost the garrison if it had been defended properly) it was poor giving it away like that, “it wasn’t primetime” isn’t a reasonable excuse. It was poor allocation of resources, and poor play as individuals for being distracted at the dreaming bay gates Its things to learn from, if people do take lessons from the defeats.

From an attacking point of view, i am afraid to say it was not the numbers. We came up against little offence in there defense past one? arrowcart and a few people who stood there ground. There was in fact full supply and very little to no use of it and we were there for a good 10 minutes when we went full out and a good 5 minutes more at the start clearing stealthy. I don’t want to sound like i am gloating but simply stating the facts of what happened. IF defense launched an offensive and or placed up siege and utilised the supply’s then we would defiantly have not capped the Garrison.

ICON and friends hit WSR BL due to a queue on our own BL.
We took there tower with event then move to take the camp by bay. Good fighting there while we deafened the camp as we treb bay then took it. We move on to take the camp north of there then Longview tower. We move from there to WSR Garrison which at time was own by GH.
After we took the Garrison we was very surprise to see WSR players on top above the champion. Could only take it that GH did not care to look for mesmers or was not very good at finding them. They got wipe by us, I say them because there was about 5 of WSR up there. Someone in GH not doing a good job of looking me think.

We (Cry Havoc) after capping Garrison if indeed it was not capped again logged off straight after capping. The cap was not to hold it but simply keep it for the tick. There was a small search for mesmers without luck, so i would presume it was the gates being knocked down. Either way Garrison was only capped to get rid of the upgrades on the garrison and reasons posted earlier in the comment

NP have been difficult to shift. Core have been a big threat. The giant RoF zerg had me rocking gently in a corner yesterday. CHvc strike fear in me on border defence whenever I see their names pop up; go hurt RoF, I need counselling now because of you :’(

Yorric, I was the person in charge of the garrison ninja. We broke the water gates fair and square.

2 Golems and some rams were used. I have gotten so used to people saying such things now that I actually keep screenshots of many of the undiscovered ninja’s. Not that it matters, because there was NO ONE in that keep when it fell, so how can you say that the gate’s weren’t broken?

Great matchup so far. A lot of respect for WSR who clearly have less people then RoF and us but still have a lot of points i hope u guys keep this up, it will keep match more interesting till the end.

I am not too sure about this.. WSR Seem to have a large amount of players whenever i seem to come across them. Nonetheless there has be some brilliant fights with WSR and i hope we will have a few more during the week!

Hello, I have a few level 80’s however i have never done the personal story. I was just wondering what the cash would be like if i was to complete them?

I am currently getting rather bored of farming mobs for cash on the way to commander and Exploration is something i could do in between the story line. Any info on this would be great, Including any tips anyone may have and or other options to making gold other than “playing the tp game”

Border ported them the first two times. I think we might have wiped 2 golems at bay the first time actually? But anyway like i said, we kept you off the other borders

It was just after the garrison treb attack (Similar place to where are trebs were placed which indeed gave us the idea) we were watching you on the clifftop. You pushed back to the cliff inbetween stargrove and Hills, Where we portaled in behind you. Which was countered by a portal into us which we saw and Massed on the open portal.

I counted ICON tags but that is not the point, You were the better force that round and i have already tipped my hat to you for it. Poorly placed portal by us after a few successful ones ( One being used to wipe you ) If this does happen again however… cut down on the spam its just so childish.
