There is a massive difference between a glass cannon warrior and a defensive warrior. Warriors most certainly give up survivability for damage. It’s just that a default warrior has more HP and armor (innately from heavy armor) than a thief. However, a warrior has fewer evasive/escape options. That is the intended balance. You have to look at the whole picture and not just point to the size of your HP bar or whatever.
I just queued for 20 minutes and got in ahead of people waiting for the same map for hours. People who queued before me are still waiting, 1 hour later.
In WvW my framerate drops over time. I can “reset” my framerate to normal by hitting any vista. For example, I fought at garrison for many hours and my framerate decreased over time to 25 fps. Then, I hit the garrison vista, and my framerate was 65+.
1) Earthshaker (hammer adrenaline skill) goes to wrong spot sometimes and then you warp back, correctly hits the mobs though
2) Earthshaker smash doesn’t work on height differences – you hit in the air and do no damage. So for example if I’m trying to use Earthshaker to hit some targets that are down the stairs from me, I will shake the sky and they will not be affected.
3) Movement skills (earthshaker, bulls charge, savage leap) go only half distance with quickness on (animation limitation probably)
4) Movement skills miss if there’s lag. Savage leap, bull’s charge. Shouldn’t these be server side and be calculated and hit no matter what? Why does my personal lag break them?
5) Weapon swap trait is broken. First swap in combat takes 10 seconds. Outside of combat, first swap takes 5 seconds.
6) Hammer Shock (the snare one) misses if the target is up even the gentlest slope
Lots of people getting this, but not all. Sometimes everyone gets it. Sometimes like half our people in WvW, a bunch of our people in Cursed Shore, and even people in personal story quest instances will all be lagged at the same time in the way you describe. Very frustrating.
