Hey guys.

So I recently started playing again; human guardian. The question is, should I invest a lot of gold (25+) into a heavy armour skin that can look sick with the right dyes? Since the best gear can be karma-obtained, this doesn’t seem like much of an issue.

Also, when do shields start looking better? I’m going for an awesome looking blue shield to match the colours my sets will have (blue/silver or blue/white) and the dull look of brown, round shields I’ve had for the past 60 levels is getting boring.

Kind of ashamed to say this but before the appearance change, my charr was fully white with soft brown tiger stripes. I realized it looks bad, though, and then saw these amazing hair colours and just had to go with dark grey. Also changed the face and I am now hoping to, after I get my armour, find a bright blue to match the eyes&hair and combine it with black/grey on my armours.

Hey guys. Apologies for the nubbish questions, been trying to find answers online and here on the forums but unsuccessful, not sure if it isn’t there or I just didn’t look well enough, probably the latter.

So, I’m just curious; the T3 tier cultural armours and weapons sure look good but I’m wondering what better armours and weapons exist in terms of stats? Also, by hiding the helmet, the stats are still present, correct? Besides that, what should one put in the armours and weapons and does a dual sword style work well for warriors?

My other question has to do with PvP. Now I understand that in regular PvP everybody is more or not equal, but when it comes to WvW, I’m curious what exactly is different between a level 80 PvPer and a level 3 beginner? Besides skill and experience, of course. Also, the server-shifting baffles me. I’m not 100% whether your characters stay or disappear. I’ve done it once, months ago, and managed to keep my characaters with no cost but now I read somewhere that to keep characters you have to pay something?
