It’s a bit amusing only owning Mendons, and both JQ and SOS can’t seem to take it from us, with each owning half the map :P

get rid of the jumping puzzle. nothing worse than losing a tower, asking for more help, then hearing people ask if the jumping puzzle is camped. get real.

I’m on Stormbluff and was in EB, and it happened to everyone in my guild also. Coming up right now with some login issues preventing us from going back in. Sucks.

You all have played very well so far in this week’s match. If you do end up winning, then you’ve earned every bit of it. My guild is responsible for EB primarily, so end up running into PRX a lot. Great response times by you guys. Hopefully next week though we won’t dig ourselves into such a hole the first few days. Good luck!

As a member of Stormbluff Isle, don’t worry about the weekend as much, your biggest obstacle will be weekday coverage. You will be pressed 24 hours a day by both Stormbluff Isle and Jade Quarry. To JQ, it seems like you guys have been getting stronger each week the past few weeks. I hope that trend continues. Always liked you guys and didn’t want to see you all destroyed by the bandwagoners about a month back. Good luck to you all!

I can’t speak for most others, but usually I can’t play on the weekends, only the weekdays/nights. Do 12/13 hour shifts on the weekends so don’t get much time to play then. But on the weekdays/nights I can play 12 hours every day if I want

I was thinking in more defensive terms, like being able to put up makeshift walls, barbed wire, etc.

My fellow SBI brethren, no need to boast so much. Don’t act like how other servers have when they started to pull away from the others.

Blackgate, you guys have done very well for your first two weeks in Tier 1. Was frustrating, and refreshing, having to fight against some tactics that were new to us and JQ. Hopefully with the server-hoppers abandoning you you can build a better sense of community and make a return to Tier 1 in the future. Good luck to you guys.

You guys talk about 2v1 way too much. Everyone gets 2v1 in Tier 1 at some point. This is what happens when you have 3 strong servers battling it out. Jade Quarry has long been our #1 rival. To think we’d ever team up with them is ridiculous. If we attack Blackgate as the same time as them, it’s because we’re taking advantage of your split forces at the time. Do we do it to Jade Quarry too? Absolutely.

On Stormbluff, the first thing we do every time we take a tower/keep/etc, is a mesmer sweep. We will search thoroughly until we believe the place is indeed clear. If there ended up being a mesmer that hid, then kudos to them and it’s our own fault for not finding that person. We’ve hid mesmers in others’ places, and we get hit by them too. I enjoy this part of the game

Was a very fun match-up this week and look forward to the same match-up starting later tonight. I hope those affected by Sandy on the eastern US are okay and will be able to return to battle for this match (I know JQ was probably hit the hardest by this.)

Jade Quarry, as our rival it’s always great fighting against you guys. What you guys lack in numbers you make up for in strategy. Hopefully with those honorless server-hoppers gone from your server now for a couple weeks you can develop your community up and stabilize your force. With more of your people back this week I’m expecting a very close week.

Blackgate, it was fun to play you all again this week. Definitely not the BG we worked over a couple weeks back. That turtling method definitely caught us all off guard, and it took a bit to start to counter it. It can be frustrating, but I enjoy the challenge of dismantling the turtle and wiping it out! With our comeback victory, I’m expecting an even more intense fight from you all. And if it’s true that those honorless server-hoppers have begun to leave your server, then good. You all don’t need them. Build that community up and keep supporting your home.

Also, about those claiminng there is 2v1 going on. Well of course there is. I can’t speak for the other borderlands, as my guild is usually one of the ones responsible for Eternal Battlegrounds. We are opportunists. If we think half of your forces are busy fending off Jade Quarry in the west, then why wouldn’t we attack you all in the east? You’re the closer server to our score, so you’re more of a target to us than Jade Quarry. Also, you guys build a huge amount of siege every time (where do you guys farm your money? Give me your secrets!) Every time we took out your trebuchets, five minutes later they’d be back up and hitting us. So there were times we were moving on Jade Quarry and would have to send more forces back up north again. You guys are relentless, but that also keeps most of our attention on you!

Anyway, great battles this week and look forward to another great fight this week! With the orbs gone for now, hopefully we’ll have less complaining on the forums whenever a person gets frustrated. Good luck to all!
