Greetings there, aeollus!
It looks like you would be a nice fit for our guild so I would encourage you to check out our recruitment post for New Outriders. We are a casual, mature, family-friendly guild that has been around since 1992, so we have a lot of MMO veterans like yourself enjoying a fun, drama free atmosphere. We re-launched this GW2 branch of NOR a couple of months ago and we have a nice mix of returning players as well as new ones. It’s a great time to be here as we’re steadily growing with a dedicated group of enthusiastic players looking to experience all aspects of the game. Feel free to message me in game, the forums here, or via email as listed in the recruitment post if you have any questions.
Best wishes finding the right place to call home!
Over the last few weeks, NOR has enjoyed the promotion of several recruits to full members as well as the addition of several more. The people who have joined and actively spent time with us have testified to the organized, friendly, and relaxed, drama free atmosphere we bring. If you’re looking for a friendly and mature guild that is on the smaller and growing side, I encourage you to fill out an application and come hang out with us!
Thanks for that update and I wish you the best in your re-alignment of resources. The decision makes sense even if it’s a painful one for both sides. These things happen when designing with ambitious goals, which in itself is not a bad thing. Looking forward to what you have in store for us.
Greetings FailureUrn,
You may be a nice fit with us at New Outriders so I invite you to check out our recruitment post. Unfortunately we can’t offer you the same server since we’re on Sanctum of Rall, but otherwise we are in a pretty fun stage at the moment. New Outriders is a multi-MMO guild that has been around since 1992. In the last month or so we have re-launched our Guild Wars 2 branch due to a revitalized interest from both old and new players arriving from other games. So it’s a neat mix of having a young and enthusiastic guild, yet stable with veteran MMO experience and we’re already enjoying some nice growth. We have a group of enthusiastic players that want to explore all the content that the game has to offer, including raids when we have enough people. We’re also kicking off our goal of acquiring our guild hall and building it up, so if you want to come and join a group of friendly, mature players that are sort of re-living the entire experience from the ground up, give us a look!
Good luck finding the right place to call home. The game is definitely a lot more fun with friends!
New Outriders had a great month, welcoming several new recruits and enjoying the newly scheduled events. Below is the Guild Wars 2 report from our monthly newsletter. We are still recruiting, so if NOR sounds like the right guild for you apply now or feel free to contact me in game with any questions.
NORnews issue 38 March 2016 – Guild Wars 2
Hail*NOR/
In the past month, the Guild Wars 2 branch leaped through an Asura gate leaving behind its former NOMAD status and landing back in Tyria as a re-launched Barony! If you are, or ever have been interested in playing Guild Wars 2 but have not seen the forums lately, we encourage you to check out all the updates. We have several new guides, helpful tips and tricks, role-playing discussion, and fun screenshots of our characters and experiences.
With the re-launch of the branch we have already seen some great additions. Congratulations to Ismene on her well-deserved promotion to Knight, and a hearty welcome to our three new recruits Andremus, Sister, and AnubisShado! We hope everyone enjoys their time in the guild. We will continue to focus on growing the Guild Wars 2 branch with more quality recruits over the next several weeks.
We now have three weekly recurring, scheduled events! We will be running dungeons on Wednesday night, Fractals on Saturday night, and a rotating mix of different events on Sunday afternoons. We expect to be running even more events (both scheduled and unscheduled) as we pursue claiming a guild hall, expanding our guild perks, and eventually taking on the newest raid. We have tons to do and see as a guild, including PvP and WvW, and we’re excited to explore all of it.
NOR is not the only one undergoing significant changes as ArenaNet has unveiled a very transparent and informative AMA on what’s going on in their studio. There is a splendid chest’s worth of information contained in Dulfy’s GW2 Reddit Developer AMA Summary. They have some promising updates coming to the Heart of Thorns game-play, WvW, and Living Season 3 later this year.
It’s a great time to jump in and play Guild Wars 2 with NOR. We have a dedicated group of players who are happy to help out and group up for open world events. Remember that Guild Wars 2 has a generous free to play model so it’s easy to jump in and get a taste of the game!

Greetings Sweetmisery!
The New Outriders may be the kind of guild you are looking for, so I invite you to take a look at our recruitment post. We are a casual, mature, family-friendly, multi-MMO guild that has been around since 1992 and our Guild Wars 2 branch has recently experienced a re-launch of sorts. We have a dedicated and enthusiastic group of core players who want to see all that the game has to offer.
While we aren’t quite there yet in terms of having a raid team, it’s definitely something we will be pursuing when we reach critical mass. For now, people are leveling up, running dungeons and fractals, and working on their Ascended gear. Some of us have transferred from SWTOR and other games where we had a progression raiding team, so while we’re a friendly and laid back bunch, we also have experience working together to take on more challenging content. It’s really a fun time to join because we still have a lot of content to consume yet we have the oversight and stability of a guild that has been around for decades. Feel free to reach me in game or on the forums if you have further questions, and I’ll keep an eye out for you as well.
Best wishes in finding the right place to enjoy the game to its fullest!
Greetings ShoknAwe,
It would be kind of tough for us not to accept someone who hasn’t mastered end game content because then we would have to kick most of ourselves out. ;-) New Outriders is a casual, mature, family-friendly, multi-MMO guild that has been around since 1992 and we’ve recently re-launched our Guild Wars 2 branch with core group of dedicated players that are excited to explore all that the game has to offer. It would be a great time to jump in because no one is tired of doing dungeons or fractals yet, and we’ll be doing other fun events like claiming our guild hall and eventually doing the new raid content. I would encourage you to have a look at our Recruitment Post and see if it sounds like the right fit for you. Either way, best wishes finding the right place to call home and getting the most out of the game!
Greetings HoneyBadger,
The New Outriders may be the kind of guild you are looking for, so I invite you to take a look at our recruitment post. We are a casual, mature, family-friendly, multi-MMO guild that has been around since 1992, so you don’t have to worry about us turning inside-out within a month. :-) What’s more, we have essentially re-launched our Guild Wars 2 branch, so we have a dedicated and enthusiastic group of core players who want to see all that the game has to offer. While we are a laid back and casual guild, we also definitely have people who have done progression raiding before and enjoy taking on the hardest content. We won’t sacrifice our core principles in doing so, and those challenging encounters are part of what has formed some great friendships in the guild that last longer than the games we play.
Best wishes in finding the right place to enjoy the game to its fullest!
Greetings Emergencee! I invite you to check out our recruitment post at New Outriders or feel free to contact me here or in game to find out more about us.
We are a casual, mature, family-friendly multi-MMO guild that has been around since 1992 and we’ve had a resurgence of interest in GW2. We have a handful of veterans returning to the game as well as new batch of players and all are eager to see the array of content in the game. We currently have two weeknight events for dungeons and fractals (9pm EST), as well as a Sunday afternoon event for doing any number of group activities (1:30pm EST). We have a modest portion of players still leveling up, but more and more people are looking to do the SW/HoT maps as they reach end game.
Best wishes on finding the right place to call home.

Welcome to New Outriders on the Sanctum of Rall!
We are a casual, mature, family-friendly guild that has been around since 1992 when it was founded in the game “The Shadow of Yserbius” on the ImagiNation network. NOR is active in several other games such as SW:TOR, ArcheAge, Neverwinter, Black Desert, and undoubtedly more to come. We have a dedicated group of enthusiastic players looking to grow the guild and experience all aspects of the game.
“To have fun and help others do the same” is the philosophy that guides us and we are looking for more friendly, mature members to join us. We have a mix of veterans and new players. A lot of the content is still fresh to us. If you missed out on the opportunity to get involved with a fun and reliable guild when it was in its growing stages, we may be just what you are looking for! Whether you are a long-time veteran looking to be around people who love the game as much as you do, or someone new and just playing the game for free, you are welcome to join us.
What we offer:
- The feel and experience of a newer guild yet having the oversight and support of a core group of long-time MMO veterans, both of GW2 and other games.

Welcome fellow SWTOR transfer! I have also just arrived in the past couple of weeks from SWTOR, joining the fun with over a half dozen friends from our guild. We’re really excited to be here and appreciative of having a game that highly encourages grouped content. This game has a lot of really well thought out features and I hope ArenaNet continues to support the player base for years to come.
