There is a somewhat hidden reward that most players seem to overlook. It’s that long list of rewards in the WvWvW tablet. I have asked an indepth explanation earlier: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/wuvwuv/Indepth-explanation-rewards-in-WvWvW-tab/1088201, so far nobody has replied, so aparently we all can see that reward but nobody can really explain it.
Short answer: Yes you get reward from WvWvW but nobody can explain how much it is.
As Said in the question.
I have seen that long list of +something from something in the WvWvW ingame tab. I do have a feel for what it wil do but i would like to see an answer that explains it indepth with math and all. For instance the extra loot your supposed to get: How much of a difference is there between a monday evening and a friday evening. I hope the answer wil be so good that it wil get stickied. So people can read up and realice what the rewards are that they don’t see.
Have Fun and thanks for your time to anyone who answers this.
Ok, so who is first to write a guide on how to defend a keep / tower from the “zerg”. An explanation on where to place Siege. ( preferably per tower / keep ).
An Explanation how to get your defence rewards ( just beat back attackers for more then 15 min wil get you better rewarded then to actually stomping down a capture point ).
Furthermore: we need good suggestions in the suggestion thread about:
simple and easy to use communiction.
About simple and easy to use guild reward systems, about attackers rewards ( so far only capturing a point rewards you, while they clearly stated on time that failure should be an option too ).
About the strength of the guards. ( in my humble opinion the strength of the guards is not scaled propperly )
Just my 2 cents after a great read from poster.
Have Fun.
Just wait for the patch in February.
Since they mentioned they are focusing in character progress through wvw its almost certain every achievement is going to be changed cause all of them are overtuned now.
I think we should keep on discussing on what we would want to be changed rather then just wait and see.
On topic: i would love to see the achievements to become more like the titles in GW1, meaning: that once you get to tier# of an achievement you get to display a title and with every new tier achieved you get a similar one with a bit better name.
In case of the Dolyaks you should go from … Yakslapper to Ultimate Yakslapper.

The problem with supply camps from a defensive point of view is that there is really no manpower-efficient way to defend them. You have to leave 2/3 people standing around doing nothing at every camp if you don’t want 1-5 people to come ninja them in 1~ minute. The defense is forced to use two or three times the manpower of the offense if they want to maintain these points. However, this is only a “problem” from the defensive standpoint.
From an overall game design standpoint, it isn’t a bad thing to make it really inefficient to defend the cheapest and weakest points, it gives the attackers the advantage on supply camp fights whereas the defenders get the advantage in almost every other situation.
I think this more or less a time issue: how long should a team of 2 to 4 players have to fight before they are victorious. In other words how much time should a defender get to react to crosses over a camp and defend it.
To me it’s a bit ridiculous that as a 2 man team we can capture a camp in under 2 minutes. That’s barely enough to even port to a waypoint and run to said supplycamp. This goes especially when you upgrade a camp during low population times. Upgrading a camp should earn me more time to respond or rather more time to have fun and less time spend in looking at my map to see if i should defend somewhere.

You could always ask the guild to claim a supply point to relinquish hold on a tower or put up buffs. Has this been tried?
Yes you could ask this if you would know who to ask. IF: you know who to ask.
At the moment the information given to us players to make communication better is very poor in WvWvW as a whole.
With claimed objectives so far i only can see the guild emblem and that doesn’t tell me who to aproach unless it’s a well known guilbanner. But well known guildbanners often come from active guilds that don’t need to be asked such things….
On topic: I think firstly we wil see an “unclaim” feature for members of a guild ( it’s already there in the guildranks tickboxes), it’s just not functioning as of now.
Overall an override system where guilds with more buffs can overtake an object isn’t a bad thing. Giving a notice to the guild currently in charge a short amount of time to put up buffs of themselfs. 15-30 min is suggested and that sounds ok to me.
As to what buffs are better then others i would say:
More buffs wins from less, in case of a tie current owner holds claim.
Just my 2 cents,

This thing with [PRO] guild is robbing me and all other fair players from a good fight over a tier3 upgraded Keep. Now we can have a fight over a not upgraded keep yawn. I really hope Anet can find and fix this glitch soon.
have fun and see you on the battle fields.
