I have a mesmer, he’s at 65 now.

I’ve got a good build, good gear and I’m not bad skill-wise. Not ubersuperduperawesome, but good, and have no trouble in most if not all PvE fights.

Except the Risen for some reason (that rhymes). They seem to always give me problems. They are both strong and fast (the asuras are the most annoying, but the big norns also manage to get to me in an eyeblink), and – do they really have more HP than usual mobs or is it just my impression?

Anyway, I’m not certain why, but I do have issues when Zhaitan’s minions are involved. I went down twice in the Personal Story where you defend the Claw Island. They swarm me, they hit hard and they take forever to go down.

Is there a trick to beating the Risen? Am I just bad or are they supposed to be harder?

So yesterday in Lion’s Arch I came across a female character that appeared to wear some kind of shinguards or sandals that left her feet bare. She was wearing cloth armor, but moved away too fast for a screenshot or a better look.

Do “barefoot” boot options exist in GW2, similar to “sabaton” footwear in WoW? They would work quite well for my Sylvari nature-girl alt.

Any idea when the patch will actually appear?

Fixes to phantasms. I’m starting to miss Tyria, but I couldn’t play anymore after 12/3 debacle.

So I like leveling and pwning and phat least as much as the next guy, but I also like being social, at least a bit.

On my current server… barely anyone talks, there are bots and their bears everywhere and human players mostly play strong silent types. Not very social.

I heard that Tarnished Coast is the unofficial NA RP server. Is it worth spending gems to transfer over? Or is it the equivalent of Moonguard there(mostly ERP)? To be honest, I just want a server that is more social than my current home, and a dash of lite RP would be icing on the cake.
