Guild Wars 2

Hi everyone,
I just open thief 3 days ago (correctly lvl 32) , The problem is that I have no expertise about the thief class and idk what WvWvW (pvp build) build and PVE build (CoF, Fracalt and maybe arah) to take. can you guys recommend 2 good builds 1 for WvWvW and 1 for PVE (if it possible 1 build for those 2 i will be happy to hear about it) ? For edition I also dont know which gear to take Zerker or knight.

guardian known as the lest health so probably zerker won’t save him out. I see that Warrior is overplayed around the world i see in twitch more ppl stream Guardian and Thief alot and less warriors. also the problem is the warrior have symbolizes for me thing in the real life And i really love this class but the cons of this class make me sad that the developers of this game ruin this class to the ground. idk what to do they both are awesome and I dont know which to decide.

i saw ppl on zerker build but wearing PTV full armor set, what you think about the guys? , and CookMETEnder i will try your build and i will see. But ruby cant be on armor set any more any superior rune reccomended?

I have warrior based on full Berserker gear, also I have Tanky full gear (Tho,pow,vita). I looking for a build for WvWvW ,F.T.O.M, and dungeons. I saw a lot of Wvwvw warrior gameplays on youtube and I see they use Knight gear. it really interesting me about that gear and i am able to buy full gear from Trading post (not include weapons) can you guys tell me more about that ear (knight) and recommend to me good build that I will be able to do solo on WvWvW. Also if you can recommend me also good rune for the armor set?

Hi Everyone,
I have Berserkers Warrior and Mesmer lvl 80 , each one i like his own abilities. I done with each one fracalt and CoF farming and i love them. also withe the mesmer i done wvwvw . But I got to choose my main character. There are my types:
1. useful to the party
2. high damage and ability to survive with Berserker build. (pve and wvwvw)
3. deadly
Notice:
My Warrior have 2 gears Berserker and tanky Support (shouts) , include each one weapons armor set, rings ad more. The tanky’s armor is tier 3 armor ( I spent $ on it),
Mesmer have only Berserker gear.
I know it supposed to be my “taste” but I need your little “push” to the right character. Thanks in Advance.

I really love the greatsword and 1 hand sword and sheild (also hammer and staff). And yes I know this dps’s risks. I had warrior and mesmer on zerker build, if I see it hard to play I will swap to Dps Tank.

Guardian has a lot of options, but I would first start by asking you:

1. Is this for PvE? PvP? WvW?
2. Do you tend to play with a group, or solo?
3. What do you primarily want to focus on: Offense, Sustainability, Group Support?
4. Have you researched any builds yet? There’s lots of good ones out there. There’s one very good one for PvE (AH Hammer build) that is stickied right on the front page.

EDIT: Keep in mind that number 3 is obivously not mutually exclusive, but still you want to kind of pick a direction and go from there.

1.well right now I looking for PvE build (at lvl 80 i will go on wvwvw)

well if u a new player try something diferent, like ranger or warior. mesmer have many tips and trick, and in low lvl with staff or sceptr is rly slow kill but with gs it much more easy, (i take nageling giant solo with low lvl mesmer)
but in the end mesmer is to strong. he can beat everyone in pvp 1 vs 1, can help group with buffs, heals or new crap in dungeons if some1 die he cant wp, so mesmers time warp can resurect u in seconds.
build variacy is epic, wanna be tank? u can
wanna have dmg and instakill like thief? u can
wanna be suport? u can
wanna troll enemy? u can 100%
but dont forget, for good memsmer need both hand right

i have warrior Berserker lvl 80 and tanky ELE lvl 80, you and atilathegun make me to keep with my Mesmer, I believe I will find way to farm with it Thanks!

I have 350+ hours on my mesmer now, and absolutely love them. They have a very different playstyle which can take a while to get used to, and isn’t for everybody, but it pays off. If you’re having problems with dps, try the following:
1. Look for equipment with power, precision, and critical % above all else while leveling
2. Use a greatsword in your main hand. Make sure to pull out your phantasm, num 4 skill, and keep him out as much as possible. Keep at max distance to maximize damage.
3. Use a sword main hand and pistol (or focus when you get used to it) in offhand. Pull out the phantasm (#4 on pistol, #5 on focus) first, then use the number three skill twice with your sword to close distance and use number 2 skill for burst dps.
4. When you’re having problems surviving, use a staff and focus on keeping chaos armor up.
5. Make sure to stay on top of upgrading armor and weapons, either through the trading post or crafting, again with those three damage stats.

Mesmers have some awesome skills later on in the game. Time warp is amazing for dungeons and can make everybody in your party do skills twice as fast for ten seconds. We can use portal to move virtually entire armies in wvw, or to help people with jumping puzzles, or getting past a tricky part of a dungeon. Also, we kick butt in spvp

I have Mesmer lvl 12 and so far i see my Mesmer is pretty weak and have low power attack, my questions are:
1. If should I give a try to Mesmer and keep lvl him to lvl 80?
2. Did the Mesmer get stronger with the traits? ( Mesmer DPS build)
3. If it worth the time? or waste of time to lvl him?
4. Also if the Mesmer are good at dungeons (CoF and AC also Arah) and fracalt?
