DR & Kaineng need to put up resistance against SF so we can at least take their stuff on equal terms since their huge force would be divided. I see the outnumbered buff in both EB and DRBL at the same time on peak hours. alot of ppl are in EOTM it seems.
Some AR and SF guilds particularly CoSA this week like camping around for a longtime near DR spawns to kick a downed man as if them outnumbering us like 10:1 isn’t insult enough.
We need numbers/guilds for WvW especially in NA off-peak hours where the “Outnumbered” buff appears like a parasite.
Axe/horn is fine. specially in PvE and running with a Zerg sometimes good in a 1v1 situation depending on what class you’re fighting.
Aaaand there isn’t much defence in using whirling defense. rather Anet fix the pets first specially if some of our damage output is on them my dogs can’t even hit a moving target.
same problem. we do get a consolation because rangers own underwater combat.. not that it’s relevant)

I lvld a thief to 80 before I went ranger levelling in the open world. Bears, longbows, and signets made it alot more convenient as you can solo some champs with that. It’s even easier now cause hunter’s shot has stealth now. I just played with builds, pets combinations, weapons, traits after I got to 80 and went pvp, wvw, dungeons, etc.
i never remove QZ & signet of the hunt unless i need em to change to traps or spirits
I run A/H and LB with White wolf and owl (chills). Personally, S/D (even with the nerf in the recent update) and D/P are still the hardest to get specially with a non-trapper build like mine. I do get them with sic em. If it’s timed perfectly. A dog would knock em down then do a burst QZ horn 4 then quick switch to LB 2.. that’ll down them or force them to run away (or retreat temporarily then come right back at you). They def. kill faster than us so if one gets me first i’ll probably die.
S/D rangers and GS rangers probably have more success I havent tried any of those is pvp/wvw. maybe one of them can enlighten us.. our pets needs some buffs in the next updates specially with theiir reaction times. They are too slow and their range is very limited.
It’s near impossible to kill them specially when they’re good or they’re really close.. I haven’t had much success against thieves in wvw…. The only thing i try to do is stay as far as I can with my longbow (eagle eye) and if "sic’ em " is timed perfectly my dogs and LB 4 skill + quickening zephyr will get them.
