No you aren’t online at the time, I would’ve whispered you to come if you were online because I know you love these things xD but it was an awesome way to end this week!

Thank you to everyone who came to the fightclub which braveheart and I set up! It was really entertaining to see so many people from all 3 servers show up! And the server v server ending was a nice touch hopefully we will be able to get more of these fight clubs in! If you want to set one up just pm me and I’m sure we can figure something out.

ET/FC, I totally can understand how you guys feel. It sucks to be dominated day after day, week after week, the same thing sort of happened to us when DH was stuck in tier 7 with GoM and us, but now its NSP and GoM, and both of those servers have wayyy more people then us, and yes we do loose every week but we try our best to make sure it isn’t a blowout. So just hang in there and I’m sure that soon things will be better for you guys!
And to SF, you guys really need to stop being so kitteny all the time, half the posts I see on this forum regarding you guys is mainly a bunch of qq about how HoD should move down and you should move up, just play the game, if it happens it’ll happen, don’t whine to the world about wanting to move up.

Wonderful night, we were just able to show everyone that we weren’t dead yet awesome job defending eb GoM, the fight at langor went on and on! To NSP, darn you for coming in and stealing our glory xD we wanted to be the ones who capped out GoM bl completely, not half hod half NSP >.<, overall good fights and defense from everyone, hopefully we can have more nights like this!

Well this seems like it is going to be a very interesting match up.. A rough score update from when I logged off 20 mins ago is:
HoD-10,300
GoM-9,100
NSP-8,500-9,000
Somewhere in that ball park. But it was a very entertaining night, tons of amazing battles all around, but I did like the little "welcome to t7 gift’ GoM and HoD gave to NSP by capping out their side of EB And then HoD and GoM moved on to ripping each other apart… But other then that, hopefully when I log back on, we’ll still have SM >:D Now that DH isn’t here to take care of its baby, We had to adopt it ^-^

GoM- Your a bunch of cherry picking noobs. You can’t just walk in and take SM from us when we broke in and did all the hard work. Atleast we got it back right after

After reading different forum posts and such and seeing staff reply to few about playing WvW, the question came to mind: How many of you guys play on WvW? And if you do, do you just stick to the top tiers or do you prefer staying in the lower tiers? And also this is just a side question, how many of you play on HoD? :o

There is no system in the world that’s ever going to compensate for server transfers, or guilds taking a break from wvw, or differences in primetime play hours.

Pretty much this. We use gliko to help make sure the matches end up being somewhat competitive, but no systems can really predict and react immediately to constantly changing populations.

While glicko may not be the greatest thing to use for tiered competition, I think it’s actually worked fairly well to help ensure that a large portion of our matches end up being competitive. We haven’t been seeing nearly as many lopsided blowouts happening as we continue to have more matches being played out and then feeding those results into the formulas. The obvious exception to that being the worlds who either lose or gain large amounts of players in a short period of time and get caught in a matchup where they get dominated or are the dominating force.

However, even with all the issues glicko presents, we have seen that while it takes a few weeks for the system to adjust to the population shifts, it DOES adjust, and eventually those worlds end up playing in competitive games again once they reach a tier that suits their current population.

And yes, we need to get paid server transfers in. We all agree with that statement, and we’re trying to make it happen as soon as we can, while still making sure the guesting system is as useful and easy to use as possible. We’re agonizingly close, so hopefully soon we can stop talking about it and just do it!

When you say payed transfers, does that mean it will take irl money to transfer? OR in game money to transfer?

It finally appears that we’ve seen an equal match up!! I am super annoyed, I missed the kaineg onslaught. I wish i could’ve been there to help! And by the looks of it, i’ll be missing this week as well ;-;

Well from what i’ve read of this post it seems kain is whooping everyone’s butts… (I wouldn’t know for sure though because I won’t be back on GW2 till the end of January due to computer problems) But cmon GoM, are you really going to start whining because someone else starts steam-rolling you? When you out manned everyone else for the past few weeks? That really REALLY annoys me. HoD gets out manned pretty much every week but we still stay, and its pretty fair seeing as how the majority of your players lack any skill ^-^ Heck i’ve seen 5 people take down 25 of you at once. Please any kain players out there, squash GoM for us, and any HoD people reading this, keep up the fight! I’m so annoyed i’m not there to help out, but i will be there soon!

Seriously though, I’ve been on GoM since release and its crazy actually having people on each map. I’d say our fairweathers are out in force. I’m impressed with HoD and SF continuing the good fight and I hope things will be more balanced in the future.

I’m sure we’ll catch up in the morning.. at night not a lot of people are on for us.
