You actually use way points to complete dailies??
Jesus christ.
Complaining about you cant play wha t you want in gw2 is like complaining anet wont let you bot even tho they promise you can play how you want to play.
There is a limit in game design. Stop crying about it.
Midnight ice is actually very very very black…. I actually think its too black… U should check it out.
Would be fun, but the problem is that an AoS and an MMO use -completely- different leveling, skill-learning, and gear systems. I can see them doing an almost minigame-ish version though, like GW1’s boxing. Something like a stacking “level” buff and a class-based skill bar that you can upgrade as you gain those “levels.”
I actually think a moba without leveling/skill learning would still works as long as you can customize your build before entering the game.
But even if we need to keep the leveling and skill system, i think its highly doable in gw2.
/signed. 75% of my hardcore guild members have quit the game due to pure boredom. The pervasive bugs and lack of content are astonishing given what was promised.
P.S. It’s not enough to say we knew there was going to be no gear treadmill, progression, etc. We DID know that and we thought it would be replaced with something better to fill “endgame” content. They simply removed it and left a HUGE empty void.
The void is supposed to be fill by wvw atm. Its too bad you and your “hardcore” guild doesnt like it.
You know what is a game for you? Wow
this has no place in GW
Why?
The structure of gw2s spvp is perfect for a game mode like that
Moba…… A game genre that dota, lol, and smite use.
The game needs a more randomize cross zone events, much like the dragon attacks in skyrim. This would encourage and give people reason to get out of orr at level 80.
Also, i think karma, exp, drops, and golds should be scale by the level of your character, not the zone itself. This means if you are level 80, monsters will always drop gold and karma that is around you level.
To counter people farming low levels area all day, add a deminishing return on the drops and exp. the lower level the zone is, the higher and longer the dr will be. This way it will force them go travel from zone to zone to farm, and they can help populate some of the game zones while they are doing that.
Anyone actually wish there is a moba mode in spvp like lol or smite?
I had been thinking about this for a while since beta, and i think its pretty doable since gw2 scale everyone to max in spvp.
Personay i think the moba genre is one of the longest last game style in online game history. Adding a game mode like that would only make gw2 ALOT longer lasting.
Thought?
Has the gamers really devolve into “please tell us what to do next” nowaday after so many years of wow?
Threads like this is like people complaining there is nothing much to do after they finish their story in skyrim. O wait, its worse because skyrim doesnt have wvw.
Its literally mindblowing that the current gen can only enjoy a game where the dev tell them what to do next even if its a raid a week for half a year before expansion hits.
