Hi, Commander Forum War Viohlent here. Before I reply to a few posts I’d like to point out that we had a great time yesterday. One of the best fights I’ve had was at the middle island by ruins and I’d like to thank VP and all the others that were in it.
BP – You guys are way more fun to fight on the field than FA.
FA – Keep doing what you’re doing and going for those PPT. Great job, seriously. Oh, and please blob harder.
[ÆÆÆÆ] – You guys run a solid 5 man. Good fights!
[CORE] – Lol. That’s all.
[SIC] – I hope to find you guys out there for some more fights!

I like how a bunch of NSP is responding to his lackluster post, and I still didn’t know who he was…thinking that he was in OS…
But I guess there’s some guild called XOXO…haven’t seen those dudes either.

We have been running around with anywhere from 5-10 people. Sometimes a couple people tag along and join us so it’s hard to say the exact number. Generally less than 15. We have been killing people all week. Maybe you should get out of that blob you hide in/tower you’re camped in and come find us.
I’d love to give NSP some advice, but they’d have to show up first.

Was a great fight. We had Stylii from NoQQ in our TS and one of the guys from vT, can’t remember if it was Clownmagic or Moose or….. All of them are skilled anyway.
These fights are what Guild Wars 2 are all about. 1 guild vs another in open field. The guys you spend your time with, the guys you like and trust, against another guild that is similarly matched to you, spontaneous, bloody exciting, means something.
If you are in a guild or server …. that constantly zergs about.. and you roll over everything…. I pity you, cause you just don’t get it….. 90% of you never will. Perhaps you don’t care and it’s all about the WXP for you, well, you are the dross of the game that needs to get back on the xbox to get those XBL achievements.
WTB…. XOXO+VP Vs FA Blob….. any and all FA blobs.
Would be a terrible day for FA. They would finally understand what skill can do against a stupid 90 man blob. We do it anyway but, let me dream

Queue the 2-3 FA trolls talking rubbish as they have no idea what it is like to be in a good guild, and a server that isn’t full of people who think cause they have fought against T1, they actually know anything. I think we can all agree that FA know nothing but blob.

Erm… those 2 from Corp.. The Mes and Guardian….. Bloody good, well the guard is.. Mes is just the usual annoying Mes…. Escape portal, blarrggghhh… but props to u 2….. best thing I have seen from FA. You have your builds pretty much perfect for what you guys do.
Just because there’s more of us angling to fight the 20 wvw’ers from your server logged into your BL, doesn’t mean we’re skill-less… it just means there are more of us. lol. No need to QQ, I mean, FA paired against NSP, what else can you expect? Like I read a few posts up, it sucks, but when someone throws out a callout in map chat, and half of us are farming guards cause there’s nothing else to do, we’re all going to converge. Big and small groups alike. You play WvW for the fights, and when you don’t get any, it blows. PPT doesn’t reflect that.
What are you responding to “callout” for? FA have won the PPT game already. Grow some balls and come out in your guild groups and see how good you really are.

Broken for me also. Not playing the game until this is fixed. Definite deal breaker for me. There’s quite a few other games to play right now in the meanwhile.
It takes one tiny post to set off a hellstorm apparently, between the lovely pestering posts in game and in this thread, I don’t think anyone has quite the sensitivity that FA does if anyone criticizes anything.

Anyways, sorry I have not been posting so much, the inevitable frustrations of the queue on YBBL have many of our good WvW Yakkers unable to provide adequate fighting in our own BL. Suddenly far less entertaining now, but still good fights regardless on other BLs.
Anyways gracias to [Hope] and [RAM] for the good fights at FABL this night, the dual ZvZ combat with us at [One] and our good friends [Glob] versus you two was, and I quote, ‘Rad’, and we appreciate you guys coming out to open field just to see how well some 2v2 or 1v1 fights go.

I would make further comments, but I think the damage was already done. Thanks for the good fights, I will say that SE tower play with the mesmer port on the back-side was a really good call and executed perfectly!

Hey, to the 3 DB (2 mesmer 1 Guardian) combo that was tearing up the small havoc group in SBI, you guys are pro. We’ve been looking all around for you to fight again, whisper me if you’re around. We don’t mind if we lose, we’re just trying to figure out a way to counter you.
I have friends who only play when the server is “winning”. When you’re down, your chances of getting good fights/duels and such improve (if you’re not just playing for ppt) so I don’t understand the mindset, but I hope the PvE guys keep playing! It’s been a roller coaster week, I’ve had a blast. Can’t wait to face SBI again.
SBI’s ppt is sky high right now, I knew these guys weren’t done yet. playin for keeps! nice!
And we need it to be sky high. I just want to know if we are going to be able to handle DB’s oceanic presence today. Yesterday, they crushed us, and that crushing caused us to drop 6k more behind FA. If we can nullify that today, we might have a good chance of pulling this out.
Your NA must be pedal to the metal right now. I only wonder how long you guys can keep up the pace. The oceanics really haven’t made their presence felt yet for sure.
Eh, we’ve had serious issues during prime time getting our guilds into WvW. Maps are packed with people who are uninterested in team play, and more interested in grinding achievements, zerging ruins/sentries/jumping puzzles. I’m sure it’s this way on all servers, but I am looking forward to the weekday portion of this match up, where there will be fewer queues and more of our hardcore WvWers out.
Also, [TE] is looking forward to seeing all the people/guilds who think SBI has no good players out on the borderlands tonight. We’ll be on FA BL barring major queue issues. Stay classy amigos.
I think it’s a tossup whether the small group guilds would want gold or not. But I can definitely tell you we play as hard as we can to take towers, camps, doly snacks, ninja bay (like we did last night in cd), or anything else we can to help our server. Nobody I know of in wvw ever tries to intentional lose.
FA definitely cares about the fights more than the ppt. At least down at the havoc level I play at. Can’t wait to battle it out with SBI.
I came here from CD, and I can tell you INC went to mag, and EK went to BG. That leaves CD short Zerg busting guilds, though last I heard TIME was trying to fill that gap. Maybe someone from cd can chime in.
So all trash talk aside, my take on these 2 servers
Magumma: To be honest mag has some good blobbing guilds, had some good gvg’s and fights with VR and Ark (before they got interrupted) They also have some decent roamers in Aon even though you guys tend to run in groups far larger then a typical roaming group ( apart from Aon all the mag roaming guilds are terrible, just look at swag lolololol)
FA: Has by far the worst player skill per player of any server ive faced (and i think ive faced everyone but T1 at this point.) Just awful on every level, from large group to small man to solo. I dont think FA is tanking this matchup i just think there so terribad that when they cant zerg down another group 3 to 1 they just get crushed
I’ve been reading some of the posts and responses and laughing out loud. Roaming? This is WvW, where there are LOTS of players. If you want to roam, go do PvP. Anyone who roams around is looking to die, horribly. Zergs, blobs, trains, whatever you want to call them, every server has them, so shut the front door already. Not just WvW guilds show up in WvW, PvE players do too. We care about our server and our BL. Some players talk about others running away. If I see a sea of red coming for me, you are darn right I’ll be running the other way. It’s not that I am roaming, but trying to get to where the action is and get intercepted. I see other servers complaining of things they actually do themselves. Lots of talk trying to lower moral, ain’t gonna happen.

Some people don’t like roaming and that’s fine, wvw has a little for everyone. But roamers and small groups have their place too, running the camps and towers and distracting larger zergs… It’s all worthwhile. And the bloodlust ruins are designed for solo/small groups… There’s action to run to there also
I understand what you are saying. But, why does every server make comments about zergs, when they do the exact same thing with a zerg? That just doesn’t make sense. You sir, had a sensible response. And if you are a ma’am, please excuse me.
Some players QQ when they lose, so they complain about the zergs when they die to them. Human nature I guess. Sore losers will be sore losers and all. I don’t have a problem with zergs, people should play the game the way that’s enjoyable to them. And if I die to a zerg train, it’s my fault for getting in the way. All part of the game!
I don’t post on the forum that much but i have to tip my hat to Mag and FA you guys are all and more than i anticipated at this tier Think i have spent more on armor repair this week that i have in the past 2 months big shout out to the small man groups from [Ark] and [BURN] you guys have some real talent
A friend and I just transferred to run with these guys, and it was worth every gem. If you’re looking to have a fun time running havoc and joking around, look no further! It’s definitely a blast and I’m learning a lot from them. Having fun is the goal, but working well as a small group is definitely the primary emphasis. They have cookies too.
Is there anybody on BP or CD that doesn’t follow the drooling, mouthbreathing mass from tower to tower, that can ACTUALLY fight 1 on 1 well without the support of the zerg?

good fights against the god/xoxo group at the south temple ruins today. You guys were kickin butt. Felt almost like a wow bg, this patch is bringing some great pvp fights to the game!
Apologize for all the gloating from our side.. I can assured you those are our fairweathers that recently came out when its safe wasn’t around during the few weeks of war with TC/FA. We know your pain both DH/HOD this is going to be a tough week for all of us and lots of respect for continuing the fight.
There’s a saddening moment we came face to face with 1 DH trying to reinforce a keep and he just sat down after getting cornered was calling out on TS to hold fire but well sorry /salute.. can’t say for the entire CD but guild wise we be taking time off in our PvP private room to allow you time to recap or GvG 15/20/30 drop us a mail.
Its all in the name of fun, we’re all guilty of it. You guys know how to bring an army! I finally rallied DH BL and we had a tough time just holding you guys at SE Tower and then seigy showed up to crash the party! It just sucks a bit when a gate literally melts with 1 ram on it and a thousand people smacking their heads against it. I didn’t even have a chance to pop Decoy when you guys were on me! It’s a ball of red then BOOM BANG ZIP DEAD~
All the while, we’ll keep fighting the good fight and see you on the battlefield! I’m sure PD would love to set up a fight night or some small GvG fights during the week!

I kind of think in war, if you can find a way to win, be it blob, or D up in a tower, or use ac in a field, it’s all part of the strategy and the game. If you get wiped cause your enemy used ac to roll over you, that’s superior strat on their part, and you should have countered with siege or flanked. If you want to go mano-a-mano, there’s always spvp where the combat is highly regulated. Game on.
