Dear op. I started this game little less then 3 years ago. When i started, lfg was still not implemented so you searched your group on map chat I was too kicked quite a few times too. Then i decided to run it with my guild once i hit 80. Problem solved. The thing is, nobody wants to carry players because it’s annoying.

Yeah, I remember that about the lack of a tool.

The thing is, this content isn’t that difficult (the lower level stuff, I mean). But I dunno, things seem to have become markedly less friendly. I can see from the upvotes and consensus that newer players are going to be a burden (I guess it depends how you define ‘carry’). And that’s kinda unfortunate. When I do get this alt kitted out, I’ll try to be different. Guess it is what it is.

Thanks guys – I do make my own groups, most of the time. As mentioned though, I was kicked from one I created for not being 80 (a CM P1 run), which I gotta admit I found really irritating. These experiences are with groups that don’t specify any level requirement ( I don’t bother even attempting to join the 80 zerk groups), and then kick you when they haven’t made their requirements clear. It’s really that more than anything else.

I get that the content is old for players who have been around a long time, but for new players it’ll suck. My fiance who has an 80 character and hasn’t pre-purchased HoT yet doesn’t plan to after watching me play (or not, as might be the case) in these groups. Now if you contrast that with FFXIV, it’s a night and day change except for high end raiding content. The game isn’t all that accessible for fresh blood.

I returned the game recently prior to HoT, after being a day one player.

I decided to level up an alt – a little Asuran Elementalist. I’ve been leveling her up with a mixture of WvW, world PvE and dungeons.

Several times in the past week, I’ve been kicked from groups, before the first boss (sometimes even before I enter the dungeon), because I am not level 80. I’ve even been kicked from my own group (one I formed to get past the ‘80 exp zerker only 4k exp’ groups). Sometimes, I’ll join a group that doesn’t specify 80s only and be kicked for not being 80. In fact I just had a lovely conversation with a most polite soul who insisted that I get my main for Twilight Arbour or gtfo.

Now don’t get me wrong, players are entitled to set their own ‘filters’ on who they want to join their group. I avoid those ‘full 80 zerk’ parties like the plague anyway. But I can only get around this insistence on top level gear to play lower level content by creating my own groups and being very specific that everyone’s welcome and it’s not an 80 only run.

This ‘culture’ of making sub 80 players feel about as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit is not going to endear it to new players. These welcome parties expect players to know everything.

Guild Wars 2 used to be well known for its community. It still has a great community, just not when it comes to dungeon runs. I half expect to see ‘Blue Moa run, 80 zerk 4k AP’ next. FFXIV beats this game hands down for genuinely helpful players. New players who come in after HoT are going to find experiences like these incredibly off-putting. Why has the game become like this?

GW2 needs Steam in my opinion. After the break into the Chinese market , it’s guaranteed long-term exposure to target markets. Never underestimate the power of Steam. Anyhow, waffle over.

I a curious about what Steam would give? They would take a cut of the profit. They would slow down releases since it would need to go through steam. They would not be exposed to any bigger market than they are already exposed to. Where is there any up side to going through Steam?

I don’t know anyone who uses Steam who doesn’t use it to inform their gaming purchases (that and review sites of course). I have bought several games I otherwise would not have done via Steam sales, steam reviews, and such. I consider it the Facebook of the gaming world. At this point in GW2’s lifespan, getting fresh blood into the game is always going to be more difficult than it was when it launched. Steam, absent the niggles, is a large advertising platform as well as a delivery platform – if it didn’t provide the kind of exposure that offsets Valve’s cut, publishers wouldn’t use it. They use it because it grants mass exposure and hence generates better sales. I really think ANet should use it.

I still love this game. I wish ANet added an expansion/more permanent content, or at least another profession to level, though. I think they are sitting on their laurels (pardon the pun) a bit in not adding permanent content. They should add content expansions on the same level as the original game.

I also think that the game should be available on Steam. I know it hurts a game’s profit margins to be integrated with Steam; however, the players that would come into the game that otherwise may not I believe would be significant. It’s advertising targeted at millions of players worldwide. The revenue can hopefully be reinvested into permanent content updates.

Ultimately, GW2 is still the only MMO since WoW which has done anything noteworthy, still has a ton of potential, and now needs to capitalise on it and shift direction in its content strategy to keep growing and evolving. I sympathise with the feeling of not knowing what to do, or feeling there isn’t much to do, at certain points, particularly at endgame, which has no true ‘raids’ of any sort. But there’s still plenty that can be done, and it seems to me that the current perspective is too narrow to take advantage of the great foundation that was built.

I logged onto WoW the other week and it feels so empty now. On the other hand, I had a ton of fun running the large events in Orr last night with hundreds of players. I even think the dungeons have improved somewhat, although maybe that’s just me.

How not to join as a spectator?

Hi All…

Just trying to hop into some SPvP recently, and no matter what I do, I always enter as a spectator. This is freakishly annoying – I didn’t choose to enter as a spectator as far as I know. How do I join games now without being a spectator?

Thanks in advance.

Risk Vs Reward: Reward what Reward?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

cygnus.8913

I’m pretty much forced to agree that rewards could be better.

When I started playing, from open beta to roughly four or so months after release (when I took a break for a few months due to work), drops appeared to be much more plentiful in terms of quality than they are now (with the exception of vials of blood for early crafting, which was a pain back then). Now, even running around with double the MF I had back then, the drops have been nerfed to oblivion as far as I can tell.

My complete guess is that some time after launch, it was determined that shinies (exotics, some crafting mats, etc) dropped too frequently to create longevity in the game, and so loot tables for those things were tweaked downwards. I’m also not a fan of DR – not because I’m a pro farmer, but because sometimes I think I hit it without trying very hard to, and because it punishes players who like that playstyle at the expense of making things harder for bots and the like. I also think it borks the economy by creating an artificial scarcity of materials that means it is almost never profitable to craft something by buying the mats instead of selling the mats you get, and too time-consuming and annoying to go out and farm those mats yourself because of DR. (Before it’s mentioned that this is common in MMOs, in WoW once the economy stabilises after an expansion you certainly can make a lot of money from crafting, even by buying up the mats yourself from the AH because players farm the base materials to sell for profit, which lowers their cost due to greater supply).

I genuinely think it wasn’t the same game I came back to in December that I put on the back burner back in October or so of last year in terms of reward.

[Suggestions] Gemstore Items

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: cygnus.8913

cygnus.8913

These are the 3 items I would most like to see added to the gem store:

Race Change DNA Manipulator Kit
-Cost: 800 gems
-What it does: Changes the player’s race to one of the other 4 and resets their personal storyline. This does not affect the player’s level or gear (except cultural armor, which will not be wearable until transmuted to a different skin). Players will not get rewards for storyline steps that have previously been completed. The Race Change DNA Manipulator Kit has a single use.
-Why it’s necessary: Some players have put a lot of effort into a character but may not be satisfied with their storyline/appearance (etc.). Why require them to start from scratch when you can profit from giving them this reasonable convenience.

Soul Orb
-Cost: 300 gems
-What it does: Removes “soulbound” from equipment and replaces it with accountbound (soulbound on use). This would allow players to transfer valuable items to other characters if they so wish. A notable exception to this might be items purchased with karma as they are soulbound on acquire and were never meant to be moved between characters. Soul Orbs only have a single use.
-Why it’s necessary: After spending a lot of gold on a certain item a player may want to switch it to another character that they have decided is more to their liking. Notable examples would be ascended trinkets and molten alliance pickaxes. This would be a great convenience while still preventing them from being trade-able.

Recovery kit
-Cost: 250 gems
-What it does: Removes an upgrade from a weapon or armor piece without destroying the original item. Recovered sigils/runes could potentially be accountbound, though I don’t feel this is necessary. Recovery Kits have 10 uses.
-Why it’s necessary: Currently it’s impossible to salvage upgrades off of dungeon/karma items (or crafted items that have been transmuted with dungeon/karma skins). This would allow a player to get back sigils and runes instead of needlessly wasting them if they desire to have different stats.

Big yes to all of these, especially the Race Change option.

I’d also like:

Bank access contracts (don’t care if they’re not permanent as I know the BLCs drop them already, but would like them to last a week or so for a gem cost). Same thing for BLTP contracts..

Personal Asura Gate (say, 800 gems): Get a mini personal Asura Gate that you can fix to a waypoint out in the world and travel to with no cost.

Implied in your statement is that people not buying chests with cash (gems) aren’t avid supporters of the game. I’ve bought one out of curiosity, though I know the chances sucked. But I’ve also spent about £200 on gems since the game launched for tools, bag slots, bank tabs, toon slots, and to convert into gold- just not on boxes.

I have to excuse myself because that’s not what I meant. I respect people who support the game, and one of the ways that clearly shows is through ticket weapons.

In the end, I would be far more happy with tickets on sale for 2000 gems, but at least I can make the choice to not want any.

Fair points.

Well, I’ve got my shinies (I bought the wings). Check out my pretty engi. Not seeing a lot of players with the wings yet.

Can see why people want ’em.

If anything, raiding became more accessible after The Burning Crusade. In my final year of Uni, I only raided sparsely, but still did well. I think a lot of GW2 stuff requires many hours of play regardless, though a lot of gold certainly helps…not a huge fan of DR either, which seems to hit me when I’m not actually ‘farming’. I agree that for some time, raiding was inaccessible to most players. I think they got the balance right in WoTLK, and the game went downhill for me after that. But it did get a lot of things right – no dev would turn down WoW’s success even akittens lowest point.

I didn’t hit DR a single time in GW2, it’s almost impossible unless you’re a bot, lobotomized or exploiting. It takes at least an hour of farming one location before you can notice it and I simply have too much of a life to force myself into doing that. I vary my content and never hit DR.

As for WoW’s success … Justin Bieber is extremely popular, even at his current low point. Doesn’t imply that Radiohead should even give him a second glance.

Not to say you won’t still get complaints, but that’s more of a dual route – and people with the ‘PvE’ shinies will still want the boxed ones anyway, especially if they’re gorgeous, like my dragon flintlocks.

Can’t please everyone. I personally see people with ticket weapons as avid supporters of the game. There’s not many and I thank them for doing what those cheapskates don’t.

I’d like to know how DR works more specifically, because you can be in an area for half an hour without farming. Is it account wide and to that area only, or to any other areas you go to?

Although I know tastes surely differ, to me there is no difference between a game where prestige items are stat based a la WoW, and one where they’re cosmetic items, such as in this game. The only difference is that in WoW, most of what players consider prestige items are accessible via top tier content and reward skill-based play (or used to – I’m talking about WoW before it shot itself in the foot).

The top tier content in WoW was only available to a small minority of players. I raided a bit but very soon found out that playing 4 hours consecutively in the evening wasn’t feasible. Because content was locked behind these dungeons, I was effectively removed denied access to 80% of the game, including PVP where I’d be steamrolled by no-lifers. That’s exactly where WoW shot itself in the foot over and over again.

In GW2, it looks to me that the balance is off. There’s nowt wrong with RNG or ‘gambling boxes’ as players are calling them, provided that they complement a rich backbone of prestige items that can be gained through effort and skill (I know the legendaries take a ton of effort). It appears to me as if the perception of those unhappy with the way things are at the moment is that too many highly sought after ‘looks’ are not available down this route.

I tentatively agree. More skins have to be added in non-rng ways, regardless of how expensive they are in gems. I can live with 2000 gems for a molten ticket.

I definitely have to disagree with you on AC. I’m not very skilled at GW2 dungeons and I feign no modesty, but I’ve done AC story mode no problem.

I’ve done Molten Core no problem bar for for the other people wiping our group due to overagro and the insane 4+ hours time requirement that dungeon had, not to mention the kittened prereq quest and hydraxian warlords rep. Had these things been designed a bit more time efficient, MC would have been easy as story mode AC. But those are artificial difficulties.

Some of the most fun I’m having at the moment is flipping stuff on the TP and making teeny profits, but I do enjoy the Dragon event a lot, as does my b/f. I personally love getting the coffers and trying my luck, but I can sort of see where the criticisms are coming from. All it needs is a little more balance on the PvE progression side imo and everybody wins — people have more incentive to log on for the regular content, so they’ll be more likely to buy stuff in the gem store when the ‘chance on open’ items arrive. Not to say you won’t still get complaints, but that’s more of a dual route – and people with the ‘PvE’ shinies will still want the boxed ones anyway, especially if they’re gorgeous, like my dragon flintlocks.

I did play AION, but not for long. It wasn’t my cup of tea.

Effort is required, yes – but I’m talking about skill, which isn’t the same thing. How do you recognise a highly skilled player in GW2 visually?

Dungeon Master is a pretty skill title. Decent rank in either sPVP or WvW points to the same. But lets be frank here. AC Story mode is more difficult than most WoW raids, were it not that in WoW you’re forced together with 40 other kittens to complete easy content, at least one who’s going to make a simple mistake. Agro and trinity are easy concepts to grasp and the resulting gameplay is extremely boring. There’s no excuse for not one-shotting every single boss. And yet wiping is necessary for some crazy reason until 40 people learn over and over again that you shouldn’t overagro. That’s not difficult. Kholer is effectively more difficult than any boss in WoW.

That said, you can’t compare eye of ragnaros (0.01% drop from easy boss) to molten tickets, because eye of ragnaros was the most powerful weapon in the game while molten tickets are entirely cosmetic.

Although I know tastes surely differ, to me there is no difference between a game where prestige items are stat based a la WoW, and one where they’re cosmetic items, such as in this game. GW2 is a great game, but whatever route you take for prestige, players always want to set themselves apart in some way…hence, I think, the upset over skin drops from boxes. I don’t think it would be as much of an issue if awesome looking stuff could also be obtained over time by being darned good at the game. Surely a good question to ask here is “Why do players want the jade skins so much?” I think it’s because they’re not common and not easy to obtain. Do players feel as if too much of this stuff is walled behind luck?

Effort is required, yes – but I’m talking about skill, which isn’t the same thing. How do you recognise a highly skilled player in GW2 visually? If you can’t readily do that, then hard to obtain cosmetic items are what you’ve got left — and if too many of those items are sort of gambled for, people will get miffed when the odds don’t smile at them. I just think the balance could be a little better – the skins look beautiful, but randomness was involved in getting them, nothing special.

Because the cashshop RNG feeds of the social downfall caused by the economic crisis and just exploits those who can’t resist it. It’s worse then gambling. (i made a long post about this a few months ago, stacked with social and economic expert opinions, it was removed for being a “conspiracy theory”.)

If boxes in a cashop in an MMO cause the downfall of society and economic crisis … that’s textbook conspiracy nonsense. Your"experts" are probably experts for hire or other scam artists. As such your thread was rightfully removed.

Feeding off =/= causing. Read that part again.

Indeed, and it’s not just conspiracy theory, the tactics NC-Soft is using are actually forbidden in my country cause they fall under the false advertisement and gambling law (as it is stated that any object that is sold for real money must have the exact thing you pay for, or an accurate possibility of the chances, even our lotery has those chances(in very small letters) on them.) If i wasn’t a student i’d take em to court.

You’re not buying RNG boxes with real money. That’s the out. You’re buying GEMS with real money which have no value. You’re buying boxes with gems, which can’t be construed as gambling because you’re not spending real money.

It’s a legal loophole, but since those gems can be spent on costumes, buffs, bank slots etc, there’s no way you can say you’re spending real money on random RNG boxes.

Although true, let’s not start it again Vayne. We had a topic about the legal aspect about gambling inside the game that vanished into thin air….

I believe that nowadays everyone complains about RNG, just because they do. In this game is getting ridiculous epic proportions. Let’s look at some cases:

- In other games how many grinded a dungeon just to get a piece of equipment that still never dropped?
- In other games how many of you crafted items with proc. effect, that never did proc?

These are RNG effects too!

RNG needs to exist in games. As such, there are players who are favored and others that aren’t.

Still haters gonna hate!

I don’t quite agree with WoW type comparisons. You definitely could run the same dungeon twenty times or more in WoW for a piece of gear, but you also knew the loot table percentages, and you knew you’d get it eventually.

The ‘shinies’ in WoW were essentially raiding gear and mounts/titles from difficult encounters pre Pandaria/Cataclysm. When I (rarely) saw a player with the Light of Dawn achievement for LK25 man back in WoTLK, I knew that player was likely to be very skilled. I coveted my measly 25 man Kingslayer title for the limited time I had to play back then…in fact I didn’t even do it for the gear, though of course I needed it to progress.

The proper equivalent in WoW is really rare world drops. My mage way back in the day hoped for a long time to get an Eye of Flame…ended up buying one off the AH. Rares like that were very rare. But even those who farmed incessantly knew their drop chances weren’t great. WoW was a great game, once upon a time.

I have three tickets after opening boxes. I’m lucky – loving the pistols my engineer is wielding. But I don’t think the proper comparison is between WoW dungeon/raid gear and GW2 skins. The real issue in my opinion is that there doesn’t appear to be any balance between a ‘skill marker’ and random drop chance. I never see a person in game and think “They must have been skilled to get that item.” Since cosmetic items are essentially the equivalent of WoW shinies, a lot of people want them, but how much skill is involved in getting them? There’s none at all involved in obtaining these dragon skins.

MMOs use plenty of intermittent reinforcement to keep players coming back for more, and though GW2 is my favourite MMO I have to say….I valued the shinies I got in WoW more than these random drops, despite how people like to complain about gear grind, because I knew I’d earned most of them. And I think there’s too much RNG in GW2 right now…for me it’s just a balancing issue.

I don’t like Trahearne because I couldn’t give a dolyak about him and he takes up too much screen and dialogue time. He’s a character no-one knows or cares about until he crowbars himself into your story, hogs the limelight like a pub crooner on the X-Factor, and speaks in tones suited to a monotonous funeral.

Many a time have I watched Trahearne die in my story missions. The uppity twig loves to dash headlong into swarms of mobs. I keep him around as fodder, but am always disappointed in having to resurrect him to continue. Mr. Drawling Bark-For-Brains was just a poor choice of pivotal character…

The CE for this game is a real treat and was well worth its cost. I won’t turn down more ‘thank you’ freebies for CE holders, but in no way does a CE purchaser deserve them.

Edit: and by that I mean the boxed version, not the digital upgrade.

I love this game, but I also take it for what it is.

The slot machine principle drives these boxes — in Psychology, there is a technical term for what is happening here. It’s called Intermittent Reinforcement, and it’s used to mould behaviour. MMOs use it plenty to keep players coming back — in this instance, it’s being used to generate sales.

I rarely purchase any boxes with gems because the mechanics seem pretty obvious to me, but I support the game in other ways with gems. A wise individual should only be burned once with a large purchase of gems just to spend on boxes. Doing that more than once and expecting a different result is completely daft.

More support for people who lost money.

When I first heard about the buyable rich version, I expected them to finally offer a reasonable way to buy them. For example, if the normal drops are supposed to be rare, I’d expect a 1 in 100 chance, with the buyable more like 1 in 10. Keep it random sure, but don’t make each skin cost the price of the game.

Once you start paying more than $10 for a skin, something’s wrong. What makes it even worse is that if you want something like double dagger skins, the price to do so is much higher than just a single greatsword. The skin should be an unlock for your account, not just a single use.

At the very least, they should straight up tell you the odds of getting each item.

I agree with this. My Engineer uses dual pistols – however, I traded my ticket (looted out in the world) for a rifle skin, as I didn’t fancy my chances of looting two tickets.

RNG boxes are a bit of a lottery, so I suppose they should inform players of the odds as regular lotteries do, but boxes have never been great in this game in my opinion. Black Lion chests used to give more than they do now, as I recall. I might buy a box later with 100 gems just for the sake of it, but the best way to approach a purchase is that you’re supporting the game and not much more. It would be nice if spending that much money on the boxes nearly guarantees you a ticket, because it’s not a small amount to most people, and the skin isn’t something you can earn. You can buy another game for $40, so I don’t see the harm in one box bought with that much cash dropping a ticket.

On the upside, I’m seeing a lot more people out in the world farming for the coffers, and I’m having fun running around trying my luck in PvE. The chests that can be bought, though, are equivalent to throwing your money away.

I’ve got mates in UK all over the place on many different ISP’s, some with 60mb internet, and we’re all having the same problems. I’m getting it significantly worse than some though. Been reading this problem for a few days now it seems. Mine started lastnight, levelled out today, and then went to kitten.

Playing on Desolation, being a UK server, 6pm is obviously the start of potential peek time. It’s pretty obvious what the problem is to me, but will they sort it? Will they hell.

Same here. I’m in Brum with a 60MB line (Virgin Media)..getting over 200ms ping at peak times, but it’s fine at off peak times.

I will say that my b/f is with BT Infinity on a 60MB line, and is not having an issue, though the issue doesn’t seem limited to one ISP. Unfortunately, I’m not savvy enough to figure out where the problem is, but it’s only been in the past few days I’ve been getting this performance in GW2 and no other games.

Can anyone help?

You know what? I signed in on my forum account just to reply to this.

This whole post (or two) completely touched me, it’s exactly how I feel. When the game came out, it was glorious just running around as a low-level and thinking “Wow, I can’t wait until I get that armour” or “Holy crap, that guy’s level 65 already!”. But now I’ve reached the level cap and I have some more characters. I still don’t even make that much gold and yet still, the nostalgia has worn off for me.

I still spend hours on this game, but when I look back, what have I done? Akitten in Lion’s Arch and then done the daily and dragon events. It isn’t fun. I’m looking at legendaries thinking “Wow, they’re so cool” but then I think “It’s a least 500+ hours to get one, or a hell of a lot of gold” and I instantly get disappointed at that.

Perhaps it’s just because the novelty has worn off. We’ve explored all there is to explore and now the game become people wanting their tier 6 mats and all that crap. Actually, thinking about it, legendaries are basically a major cause of our issues. They cause people to farm and that’s it. I had a friend who played every day for months since release and when he finally made his legendary, after months and months of grinding, he rarely plays anymore. But this is the real question – would people still be playing if items that take a long time to get (such as legendaries) weren’t in the game?

Overall, it’s just such a difficult topic. Have a game where it’s just exploring and people will get bored when everything’s explored (lolrhyme). Have a game of full grinding and people will have nothing to work towards. As of yet, there’s no real answer.

I think the effort vs reward balance is a little out of tune right now.

Since launch, I believe that it has become more difficult to farm and to obtain shinies whilst out in the world. My Mesmer was my first character, and has a few dozen dyes unlocked (none bought). My alts nowadays are lucky to get a few here and there.

The 1-80 experience is a blast, but I’m not a huge fan of being 80. The dungeons are ok, but I wouldn’t run them over and over and over again for tokens (and it would be nice if the tooltip told you where you could spend those, it’s not user/noob friendly). I’d like a legendary, but not enough to farm like a banshee for one. WvW is fun, but I spend most of my time in open world PvE – and that was the most fun for me when the world was teeming with players.

If you want shiny gear, you’re all set if you have enough time and effort to invest. Personally, I would really like more abilities on my characters. Have a new skill tier unlock at 80 which costs a currency to buy, so people go back out into the world in droves. I’d farm for a ‘legendary skill.’ Dot a few epic chests around the world every day at random times and make people go hunting for them, perhaps. Add temporary vendors that unlock on dynamic event completion, and give some of them nifty stuff. Have rare recipes drop out in the world. Revolve some items on the Gem Store and make them purchasable or part purchasable with Karma, even large amounts of it. Stuff like that.

Just my thoughts as someone who misses the player ‘zergs.’

Problems with Engineers and Legendaries

Reroll another class, the more engineers that do that hopefully will show them enough data that they need an overhaul asap, not turret fixes not grenade nerfs but real life fixes to their weapons..

And even if they don’t you’ll still feel better on a class that works..i personally had a engi i loved but i haven’t touched it in months..

Believe me I’ve tried. I hit content burnout at level forty with a ranger, and twenty-five with a thief. An entirely separate thread could be made on this issue, but the simple fact is that, at least to me, the leveling content in this game just isn’t fun after the first time though.

Clearly that idea of the zones feeling different and still being exciting each time you go through them because of dynamic events didn’t exactly work out as intended.

I leveled 10 characters to 80 and a few i deleted, i have noticed a huge disparity between the first four or so i leveled at GW2 opening to now, back then loot dropped freely and you leveled much faster now its a xp grind and loot is terrible in starter zones (except queensdale weirdly) all the way to 80 and you must constantly buy gear to continue, especially Ele, thief etc…
Sorry if a little off topic..but as stated i feel your pain..especially with Engi and to a lesser extent Ranger

Been playing since beta, and thought it was just me with the drops in particular. I believe they’ve been nerfed.

It certainly feels as if it takes longer to level up now, and I do appreciate content burnout, as I’m an altoholic…without crafting (which costs a lot to level), the pace is pretty slow. Loving the game still, but have to agree with you on both counts.

Just adding my experience to the list – been having 240ms ping for the last couple of days or so. It is better at unsociable hours, but the game is nearly unplayable when I want to play with my b/f.

This is not happening in other games, such as Borderlands 2.

I still want the banker golem I got with the Collector’s Edition with a longer shelf life. That was really nifty.

Trahearne: I personally find him to be probably worst character. :SPOILERS:

I want to take an offhand torch and create a little roast Trahearne. The character is simply not believable at all – lines are acted like a cross between a male Keira Knightley and Kristen Stewart. The voice doesn’t suit the character at all. He’s a wet noodle I’ve spent so much time ressing in my personal storyline that I ought to have an achievement and reward chest for the trouble. I was hoping that the plot would kill him off and make him interesting, but nooooo.

“Moving on!”
