I did get the achievement today, took me more than 2 hours to get it. It was in achievements panel, and I also got the loot bag (which content is bunch of crap btw).
I log off go eat, relog back to another character and the achievement was gone.

Please for those who report it here, give us the achievement back! We lost time for that.

Yea I was wondering why only behe is legendary and I think shaterrer.
Why are not maw, wurm, elemental and others legendary? Any1 know?

Ask for help, often times someone will assist you. And for those stating MMO means Massive Multiplayer Online… that is true but it should not mean you must rely on others to accomplish things. Massive means big, GW2 is big. Multiplayer means multiple players, nowhere does it imply they must play TOGETHER. Online is well, online.

Not really, massive refers to number of players, read here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massively_multiplayer_online_game
Like MOBA means (massive online battle arena) which also refers to number of players. For the multiplayer, IMHO MMOs are designed to encourage you to play with others. That’s what this type of game is designed for. There are always exceptions ofc, but GW2 is not.

He, tries to play MMO as a single player game, if he wants that he should rather try elder scrolls or something and stop blaming others for buying the wrong game.

Exactly, you can’t whine about not able to solo an MMO. It’s the genre of the game that requires team play. So far GW2 is one of the easiest MMOs I ever played. If you want to know what is hard, then go play one of the korean f2p MMOs.

Did you at least check the guide before saying it’s impossible?

I don’t know about other people but I click that menu a lot to constantly sort and deposit while salvaging.

So I suggest to replace “Options” menu in “Inventory” window to separate it into icons.
Any one else would like it this way better?

Yea this area is pretty anoying, but a MMO must be hard sometimes or it would be too easy and boring.

While discovering maps, I ran into many invisible walls that were placed there to prevent you from jumping into places where it looks like it should be possible.

That’s a NO NO in game design, please don’t make a terrain make you believe you can do what you can’t.

Achievements are unlocked now, the first two still need to be fixed, but you surely know about that. I hope you didn’t have to change 299 files that were updated today to do that fix lol.

I have the same problem.

I succeed and can confirm, if the 1st animation at the beginning stops and then completes with small delay, that means the lag is present. I think the best option is to re-enter and try again later.

I’ve jumped 10+ times and can’t get into the tower (through broken clock ofc) just deflects me from all angles.

I watched ppl on youtube to confirm I was doing it correctly.

Does any one else have this problem?

Ahh I see, I didn’t notice these achievements didn’t reach last tier yet.

At every tier the achievement shows up, in the right bottom corner with the title underneath and I thought I got the title.

my highest character is now 50+ and I still have no titles to select from the drop down menu in hero panel. I’m pretty sure I never had any and I’m sure something is wrong now that I got few achievements that give titles.

This problem seems to be account wide.

What’s the point of crafting then if there is no profit and rare items are crafted without crafting requirements?

I’m very new to this game and barely touched the crafting. Before I choose one discipline , I would like to know which one do you prefer and why.

I’d like to focuse either on the profit or crafting the most rare items, like armor or weapons. Though I must say I’m a bit disappointed, the gear doesn’t look nearly as cool as in other MMOs.

I’m new to GW2 and still have some figuring out to do. I come from classic MMOs, which have typical WoW class types. I heard people saying that there are no specific classes.

From wiki I read there are few race specific skills.

So are there good combinations for races and professions in GW2?
If yes. is there a good guide about that?

Hmm seems the whole trading system isn’t working… I can’t even buy now.

So seems I’m not alone… I’ve upgraded to full account today, and been even selling few things already before going back to leveling. After my inventory got full I came back to sell more stuff, but now I can’t any more.

so before I start playing the game, I want to make sure there wont be too much trolls or drama and enough people to do events and instance runs while I lvl up and later in the 80+ end game.
