I play on far shiverpeaks and people have started threads on our private forums with good questions to the real wvw players about what need to be changed, i think they will do a video and ask those questions to experienced wvw players and send to anet

Why not focusing on the real problem? thats there are no players in the new borders – gliders? foreal thats not the problem. Bring back the old maps and fill them with players then you can talk about small problems like this

Im experience big lags on the new borders when i test them(often just to do my daily shrine) I dont get this lags in EB and didn’t get those lags in the old borders..

I wanted to play tonight, but couldn’t find a fight beside from some roaming mesmers trying to 1-shot me. Gave up.
Thats what happens om my server when i enter the desert maps.. cant find any fights but in EB its fights during evenings.

New maps – to big, to messy, to many levels, to much PvE, less enemies, terrible terrain.
Old maps – perfect size, 1-2 levels, easy to roam, not so much PvE, enemies everywhere, and I loved the grass,water,mountain terrain without dust, desert and other kitten that is in the new maps.

When all is said and done, WvW will be fine and people 3 years from now will love the maps like we loved old Alpine. It sounds like it won’t be the same people, but oh well. If you’re going to quit, do so with dignity. Enough with the dramatic threads already.
If you have loved WvW since release its not that easy to just quit it without fighting anet to bring the old memories back – the old maps.

For all you player that write that you still like WvW and say “sad for you guys that dont like the new wvw but thats life keep going and change game if you dont like it”
WELL WvW in gw2 have been the only game i’ve played since release years ago and I’ve loved every seconds of it..of easy do you think its to move on, I will not give up and keep writing those comments until anet understand that they did a horrible mistake and bring us back the old maps so all players hopefully will return. WvW is so empty now it hurts..

I’ve never see so less ppl in WvW since release of the game… all friends of mine that played wvw hardcore are sad because the changes and play other games.. I dont wanna give up WvW becuase its been so fun all these years but…its not fun anymore

Im just wondering how many are like me:
-Played 100% wvw & LOVED IT! before the expansion and new maps.
-Can’t handle the new maps becuase they are to big & messy & pve.
-Just play some EB sometimes but… the fun is gone because the maps are empty & everything about WvW just feels….lost becuase of the changes.
-Have actually tested PvE since the expansion but.. well it aren’t so fun as the old-days-WvW.

I think that they should have keeped the old maps + eb + eotm and add this new map as a option to play – just like eotm or something. NOT remove all our favorite maps with this PvE crap

I miss the old days when i logged in to the game and checked my friendlist and saw like 30+ people in WvW-maps. Nowadays I see like 1-3 ppl DURING PRIME TIME, thats bad. I’ve talked to ALOT of players and asked if they will return to WvW after halloween-event etc, but no… the most players answer(like me) that they wont return until old maps come back.
BG anet – i think you just killed the WvW-genre that I’ve enjoyed since release.
How the F* can you remove ALL our borders? why not just add this new map like a 4th map like EOTM or something and check if there would be players playing it? how can you remove all 3 maps? im so unhappy that i bought the expansion..

The reason the auto-loot doesnt work in WvW + the new maps are the reasons ALOT of my friends aren’t playing wvw at the moment – we feel that we WvW players are not worth equal with the PvE players( I hate PvE and only play gw2 because of the WvW) and now im not playing at all – the new wvw maps are BIG & PvE maps.

We are looking at adding a way for players to earn Quickloot in WvW as well. We wanted to keep PvE progression (Masteries) separate from WvW progression (Ability Lines). However this means when a new Mastery ability is created, that might also be useful in another gamemode, it doesn’t automatically crossover.
Thats really nice to hear! we are so many people that feel sad because of the non-auto-loot in WvW. I would like to say that everything in the game so far is GOOD except the new WvW maps & the auto-loot
