To get the title , do you just have to clear the 8 story modes or do you have to clear all 33 Explorable modes too ?

Hey Man as a thief i feel ur pain. At lvl 80 I had 12K HPs , and at CoF exploratory where im lvl 75 i have 10K HPs.

I went with a signet crit build ie 10/30/30/0/0 and felt i was doing ok. I wasn’t dying more then the others. Make sure you get a second health skill , I use shadow refuge, and a second condition remover, signet that gives u precision if good for that.

I was shocked. I check around and other classes had a ton more health then me. Thief have the lowed base health in the game. We r supposed to be slippery.

I spec 10/20/25/15/0 now and switched over to jewelry and runes with vitality on them. I’m at 15K HPs now, hope that helps.

I so agree with you guys. WoW is adding challenge mode dungeons in MoP where they make players compete on how fact they can complete dungeons.

in GW2 , Anet is artificially prolonging dungeon runs with 2 per hour thing.

2. Instead of fighting the enemies in a timed event at he door buster, you just circle strafe them or leash aggro them to “kill the clock” since it was only a 100 second timer on the event.

2. I extended the time from 100 seconds to 200 seconds at the Door Buster event. I intended for you to fight those guys, not circle strafe them and aggro leash chain them. I also added 1 additional mob to the encounter at the very middle (a bow dude) to account for you now having twice the time to defeat the waves that come in.

I Can’t express how angry this statement made me.

You Guys designed a dungeon , tested it , found it suitable and released it. We came in saw, and figured out a strat. A good strat , no exploits, no bugs, we made use of our CCs etc. We played by the rules you set.

But as this didn’t agree with your vision you buffed it.

NOW YOU EXPECT US TO THINK OF A WHOLE NEW STRAT!!! Why ??? whats the point. You probably with disagree the new strat too and buff the dungeon again.

No more farming CoF and Prices on dungeon gear.

Negative you get your early oranges through karma vendors crafting and 100% zone completion. Then once you have some real gear on you go with a group and get your nice dungeon oranges. They never said someone in greens would be able to roll through dungeons. As it is there are only 2 dungeons in the game that require effort the rest are faily easy with a properly geared team.

But the crafted exotic gear has the same stats as dungeon exotic gear, except dungeon gear looks better in my opinion.

I’m sorry Robert i don’t see your point at all.

I Agree with Vorpal.4683 and Crucifer.2831 posts.

I think you can make gear something hard to get, or make it a grind to get. However you can’t make it a grind and D3 Inferno hard.

Fine make all explorable mode dungeons 1 hour along , Then atleast put in RnG to drop exotic gear. That way we only use tokens to gear our missing slots.

First of all I like commend Arena-net on the awesome job they did with the dungeon design. I finished 5 of the 8 story modes and they were epic, higher in quality than WoW dungeons and comparable in epic feel to WoW raids.

In my opinion CoF’s armour skins looks the best so I decided to farm in explorable mode. I was glad to find that you had 5 paths to choose from and all of them have unique mechanics and brand new bosses.

So infact , instead of 8 dungeons we have 8*5=40 dungeons to choose from.

Inspite of the abduance of choice I find myself have to fram Magg in CoF as its the quickest, with a good team I don’t die once.

I find myself running 8 of them everyday and Im growing tired of it. When I think of stopping or go do something else , I feel bad.

I was hoping that you guys would put in WoW’s lockout system or cap how much tokens i earn a week, so I would be forced todo something else and not feel guilty.

But this new system of diminishing returns when you

1) Run the same exact chain over twice in a row
2) Complete multiple dungeons in 30 minutes or less each.

Doesn’t go far enough, it just slows us down , it doesn’t force us to do something else.

If you don’t want to go as far as WoW and have weekly caps or lockouts. Then atleast unify the tokens across all the explorable dungeons so we have a variety and Im not stuck just doing CoF.

Scale on weapons

My only regret for picking Asura for my main is that i can’t really show off my Armour or weapons.

As a thief I already don’t use any big weapons like greatsword or shield, instead I use pistols, daggers. And they are really tiny on him.

I’m not motivated to go for the legendary at all

Oh well, atleast we have the best /laugh animation.

Power or Precision?

If you put 15 pts in Critical strike trait , and got the Opportunist trait ie 20% chance to gain 1 initiative on crit. Or Sundering strike from Deadly arts tree which gives 40% chance of vulnerability on crit , Then I would stack precision.

Most other classes weapon abilities have a cool down timer when used. So for them having as many buttons to press is critical.

However we thieves use the initiative system ,we can use the same weapon skill over and over again.

If the offhand weapon didn’t provide a stat increase i wouldn’t mind just using a main hand weapon. The pistols #3 ability is pretty decent.

Im finding that most of the dungeon gear have tons of Precision on them and not much condition dmg. To make best use of this I came up with the following build.

Gearwise I’ll be stacking power>precision>toughness>healing power>vitality

I’ve also picked traits that help me regen initiative faster.

So what do you guys think.

Its a build from one of the beta weekends but its still viable.

Its a venom/condition based build.

It suggests using shortbow with pistol/dagger . Spends 30/0/30/0/10 in traits.
