Best match up I have ever had after months of play. Lots of great mostly balanced zerg on zerg, fantastic skirmish and great roaming. It has been back and forth all weekend. If every tier had fights like this every week WvW would be a monster success.

Best fight we have ever had in all of our WvW experience was with PPK at the Astral this weekend. The fight was a small skirmish between 5 of us and a small group of them. It raged a solid 10 minutes and they finally downed one of us (me). I decided to run back across the entire map and THE FIGHT WAS STILL GOING! We finally got the upper hand but it really could have gone either way multiple times. I did manage to chase two of them back across the map and that ended in an honorable duel. Absolutely fantastic and huge props to a very skilled group of players in PPK.

le sigh… CD has a member building trebs, BP zergs took a tower with ac’s managing to cover entire tops of tower walls, hit inside lords room and wipe all siege… this game is getting screwed by Anet and the player base is helping.

League of legends has less trolls and a better community which is sad.

Don’t leave out IoJ glitch capping keeps, it’s a set.

According to Millenium, this was the only matchup in the top 5 that wasn’t a total blow out. And it never felt like anyone was in complete control … even when EB was completely locked down. Props to IOJ, they were always fun to play against when I was back on CD, and they were even more fun to go against now that I’m on BP.

I concur. For the past few weeks we have either rolled or been rolled. It had been a battle of blobs, but this week I felt that the smaller battles and tower sieges were more dynamic and much more enjoyable than the past few weeks. Here’s to hoping we have more skirmishes with CD/BP and less with SBI (who I might add is rolling this week once again)

I can vouch for most of AR by saying that we are pretty easy to kill and most of us run cheese builds or 2222222211111’d our way to 80. Actually now that I think of it, most of us crafted our way to 80. With that being said I am still waiting for people with the golden ticket to the cheese factory behind windmill.

I find it hilarious that the thread has been rather friendly, yet the drama and smack talk try to make its way in. Never neglect these little nuggets trying to squeak their way in, for they are people too.

Having been roaming our borderlands for the last 2 hours, I am now convinced you have never heard of it, so I figured I should let you know how it works, so you can save money. 5 Alphas and an Omega to try and knock down wooden doors must get expensive after awhile. They only cost 6 badges after all, and with a little fiddling you can upgrade them to the Superior Variety!

PROTIP: Superior Flame rams do more damage to gates then Alpha and Omega golems.

Protip: IoJ is still just about the worst server in terms of skill level. Although maybe you would place above DR now, you know, seeing as they don’t have anyone playing anymore. I mean, comparatively speaking it’s always easy to compete with nothing and given IoJ’s demographics I don’t think that concept is too foreign either so GJ there.

Oh and I find it funny that Dim-son Smackd’in-arena would come and talk trash about trashing fight clubs being trash himself. Him simply showing up to one would put it in the trashcan immediately so complaining after that point is kind of moot.

Theres a difference on the “skill” level needed for GvG or roaming.

A good roamer/soloer depends a lot on reaction time, skill combos, and a good build.

For GvG or any kind of organized group play however you need an insane level of coordination in order to be succesful. Its not as easy as the roamers suggest, lol.

All you need is 2 necros, 10 Guardians, 2 Staff Elementalists, one mesmer and 5 hammer warriors.

Edit: 95% of the time its going to kill your allies, Use only for extreme Measures.

Its called the Theta Golem and its composed of 5 Omega golems.

So.

You build 5 Omegas, Pilot them. Stack them up. And a new 6th skill will appear.
All the Omega drivers must press this new 6 skill and the Omegas will morph together to form the Theta golem.
It be the size of a small tower and take 5 pilots to make it fully functional.

The Theta golem looks like the source below.

Took sbi 2 hours to get their paper briar back by the end 80% of our guild had gotten off and only 4 guys remained xD was fun fights tonight. Specially loved our push out of tower into sbi Zerg with 6 of us vs. at least 15 and killed 7+ lol
