of course a global change.
sry if you miss understood me. i dont want class related drops (kills every game).
but with badges for events we might get a more tactical wvw (of course different events gain different amount of badges) and might (!) reduce the zerg-badgefarm.

i made like 100badges the last 2days with guardian with an investment of at least 30 catas, 10trebs and other stuff. there for i gain quiet few medals, just because i play a kitten tactical role and own the supportteam squad for our server.

doenst pay the bills at all and i really dont want to farm orrr for 2 days to play wvw the other 5. when i even would get rewarded with badges i wouldnt need the gold to equip me proper :x

i just claim that badge farming is very common and leads to stupid zergs chasing them selve at the ruins.

and ele + ranger are really the most common zerg classes, cause they are nobrainers. of course you can have a decent farm with melees, too, but you will just “tag” more foes with ele or range then you ever can reach in the same time with a warrior.

for smaller engagements that doesnt work of course.
however getting bagdes for events and reduce the drop for killing even more, would give a more objective based WvW even with random guys.

that doesnt work.
rangers and eles are just farm kings in zerg while melee classes just dont get any larger amount of loot anyway. therefor the got higher repair cost, cause they die more often when rumbeling in.

you really need an objective based drop rate for badges everything else is just as annoying as the mesmerportal is.

Point Value to Population %: At the moment all point values of objects on the map are fixed, this means during off peak hours the ‘Night-capping’ guilds take advantage of outnumbering the enemy and capture major points holding them for 12+ hours and earning a huge lead on the sleeping enemies. A simple fix to this would be scaling values depending on the total population of the 3 servers in the 4 borderlands.

exactly what i’d prefer for the ranking!

with this mainly open market gw2 has a huge opportunity to get a deep economy (others than most mmorpg compatitives).
the role model have to be eve-online.
gw2 has a lot of gold shrink (high travel cost, repair, wvw, high prices for rare armor sets etc.). the high tax rate and other limits (low stacks are sold with higher priority than larger once) really distracting the option to play the market.

the argue, that trading is a minigame for lazy people, cant count as a real argue. the benefits from trading today are really behind other options to get gold (farming ressources in orrr with a thief gives you an annoying amount of gold/hour, which 99% of the traders cant get even close).

more market options are really a huge point making gw2 the best mmog out there. there so much ppl playing eve for market and enocomy, give them a goal here and dont let them join the rivals again.

to keep a gold shrink i really see an option for a buying tax instead of a selling tax. on this way you can still limit massive daytrading, but give some more space to breath.

redcuce the tax for selling to 5 or 10% and create a tax for buying (5-10%)

most annoying on the 15% tax is that anet still didnt manage to make it public that its not just 5% as claimed.
i bet that there are houndretthousands of casuals just trading themselve broken over time, cause they just dont get it…

get a bedge for every successfull event (2 or more fore keeps) and reduce it even more for playerkills.
so the zergs might start playing wvw instead of farming each other in win-win-situations just for the loot.

homelands have a huge advantage on the map. being able to siege in citadel to get the “home” tower is on of them. i think it works as intended.
but of course you might argue that those trebs cant be attack from any side and its some kind of missbalance. :x

Hallo everyone,

today i have to post twoexploits

1. Its possible to glitch down the map textures at the blue borderland map to glitch into Ascension Bay.
Several players used this to attack the orb and they managed to destroy the Altar of Power. Fortunatly not able to pick up the orb from down the map. The player unfortunatly was untargetable but we noticed necromancer spell animation. (sry i cant hand inkitten here right now )

2. Its even possible for thief class to get on the wall (and the plateau) between northern and northeastern gate on the same map. (ss will follow here soon too).
