aah, alas! But for some reason I still think that summoning already summoned banners is just too much. But that’s my opinion after all.
I dislike the backpack idea. That way the banners would be just totally overpowered buffs. The whole banner mechanism would be just for plain “fun” there then.
Oh well… I hope Anet will do something about this matter to improve warriors. This profession really needs something spicing up here and there.
I was about to quote Anet for their profession balancing philosophies but I wasn’t able to find them. I think they said that warrior is all about “ignoring” buffs and conditions and will go through those with a raw force. Maybe they can make the banner fit their own words with more mobility of moving the banners somehow?
I have to agree with you that something needs to be done for banner skill slot when the banner has been placed! I like your idea but to be honest im having hard time imagining warrior being able to summon his or her banner(s). Summon based spells and skills just don’t fit with warrior profession in my opinion.

It was about being able to pickup the banner up whilst moving. Currently the banners feel very clunky.
So maybe we could be able to pickup the banner quicker and then we could have a new skill at the banner slot in it’s utility skill slot?
As for example: “Pin down”: Throw your banner straight to your enemy immobilizing him or her for some period of time. It would also be good if it would work like our sword bleed skill (was it skill number 4 or 5?) – unremovable.
This does not help with the mobility though. So im just throwing my 2 cents here!

Does anyone else feel that banners feel a little clunky?
I’ve been using banner lately a lot in pvp and everytime I move to some other place I have to pickup the banner with me. This isn’t the problem but the real problem is that I need to stop to pickup the banner.
Should banner be able to be picked up when moving? I honestly think yes. When running away from certain situations picking up the banner stops the movement and therefore places the warrior in situation where he or she is vunerable.
Arenanet, is there a change that you might be able to make banners so that you can pickup them while moving?
Is there also a possibility to somehow limit who can carry our banners? Im tired of banner stealing in pvp.
Another interesting observation about banners:
If you’ve placed your banner to ground and then autobalance throws you to other side you can’t pickup your own banner. You still get the buff if you go near it but you can’t touch it. I think this bug would need some attention. (there are a lot worse bugs in warrior profession too I know!)
I have to agree with every comment you’ve posted here! I really wish Anet would take some time to implent better joining system for the pvp or some other fix…. but until then I think we can just hope and wait if they ever make it better. Which I truly wish that they would do something about this matter. Im really tired of fighting horders of same profession. Variety would really bring more life to pvp (atleast for me…).

Am I the only one or is someone else noticed that sometimes in spvp (quite often) there are multiple amount of same professions? In the best cases there is more than 50% of the server is same profession. For my taste this is quite irritating.
So I was thinking that could there perhaps be made some kind of limit for the servers so they could only have a certain amount of one profession? Servers that have more than 50% of one profession is just plain awful and gets boring quite quickly.
So I am looking at you ArenaNet… Could you actually do something about this situation so the spvp could be a little more enjoyable?
Anyone else thinking that this might be useful or not? For me this could give more fun for spvp.

(6) “Shouts remove a condition” <——- does not work in pvp.
I’ve been running with six of these (whole set) in pvp and I’ve noticed that none of my shouts remove condition even though they should (in PVP – I don’t know how it works in PVE though) . I play as a warrior. Fix it please.
