There are so many beautiful landscapes and places in this game!
It seems to work quite nicely!
One thing I noticed that they attack your target only. Just select target and press any attack skill and they will got for your target.
As for example go to the heart of the Mists and target a Golem that is not near you. Then cleave a another golem in front of you and they will go for the target instead of the Golem you’re actually hitting.
I recently bought total makeover kit for my Norn female and I changed her body type to the sturdiest possible one. I was flabbergasted once I noticed how many of the leggings on that specific body type has serious clipping issues.
The behind clips through atleast of 12 leggings. TWELVE (actually 13 if you count the flame kissed as separate one)! How on earth did this get through QA or does not anyone play with the sturdy body types? Some of the clipping issues are minor but some of them are extremely bad.
What do the new sturdy norn female players think when they see that all of the armor at the beginning will be clipping? It does not give a good image for the rest of the game.
I don’t like to see my Norn have this kind of clipping when I play with her. The armor piece choices just got drastically lower for my poor Norn.
I included a screenshot compilation of the behind clipping issue. I hope that these will get fixed soon.

Hello there!
After a long while I have returned to use focus in pvp with my Necromancer. I noticed couple strange things on the focus skill called Spinal shivers.

The tool tip states that the skill is unblockable but I have noticed more than once that it gets blocked by player skills. Latest blocked happened with engineers shield block (sorry, don’t know the skill name!). Has it always been like this? Is it actually not unblockable or is it a bug?
Ps.. kitten that 5001 limit of body length!

Heal Skills
Well of Blood
It should work with the siphon life traits. Am I mistaken or does this not heal or deal damage with vampiric wells? Maybe when the vampiric wells trait is active this could convert conditions to additional heals? Or enemy boons?
Signet of Vampirism
Heals way too little. The passive effect should be better. Change the ICD for per enemy? Maybe some added lifeforce generation per hit perhaps?
Consume Conditions
It seems to be good as it is. Maybe tone the cooldown a bit?
Summon Blood Fiend
I must admit that I have never properly used this one…
Utility Skills
Spectral Wall
As a utility this is one of my favorites in pvp. Overall I think this seems pretty balanced. Maybe add few seconds of quickness everytime friend goes through it?
Spectral Walk
Maybe add a 1s daze or stun (or some stability)when activating it? Gives necro a possibility to escape hammer/stun squad.
Spectral Grasp
Way too slow. Never hits the target. Making this unblockable might help this ability too. The main issue is the troubles of it hitting the target.
Spectral Armor
Its pretty boring as it is. Maybe add some stability to it and shorten the duration slightly? I usually only use this from the trait that triggers it.
Plague Signet
Passive part is not “fun”.
Signet of Spite
This is also pretty boring one. Just throw pile of conditions on foe. Yay? It also has quite long casting time but I think that is quite OK price for the amount of conditions it put on foe.
Signet of Undeath
I have used this twice… The lifeforce generation should be increased I think. Currently it is also very slow and not very fun to use.
Signet of the Locust
I think this is pretty Ok. The active part could use some help perhaps? Maybe add short blind or immobilize on foes when the signet has been activated.
Well of Power
Should give some buffs perhaps? Maybe this well could pulse out might or stability? Or maybe it could give buff to ferocity/precision while standing inside it?
Well of Suffering
The “suffering part” is for the necro for taking this one? I think this needs also have the ability to react with the vampiric wells trait? I might be mistaken with this one too. I feel that this well could use some debuffing ablility to foes. Maybe pulse some of these: cripple, weakness, poison?
Well of Darkness
Too long cooldown. Too slow pulse rate. Lasts too short amount of time!
Well of Corruption
Currently this is pretty good. The lifeforce gain from this well is also very nice too!
Epidemic
- I have no idea to improve with this one.
Corrupt Boon
Pretty good one. Maybe give some buffs to necro depending to the amount of buffs removed? Retalition, might?
Blood is Power
Not really fun at all. This does not really feel any special. I like the idea of self sacrficials on necro but they just don’t feel any special but very clunky and out of place.
Corrosive Poison Cloud
Add slow to it?
Bone Fiend
AI does not work properly
Flesh Wurm
Dies too easily. Needs more utility rather than just being a teleporter. Increase damage or add more debuffs which it can apply.

Clunky. Don’t fill any role properly. Easily interrupted. Maybe increase the range?
Staff Skills
Autoattack is still slow. Revert the change on skill 4. It was fine and nice feature in dungeons/pvp

Decrease casting time of the immobilize. Degrese casting time of skill 5.
Warhorn Skills
Increase damage of skill 5. Add fear to the skill 4?
Elite Skills
Plague
It pretty good. The button smashing is pretty boring though. I think this could have some other new skills in slot 4 and 5. (Explode the plague form and cause mass fear?)
Lich Form
Good ablity but mostly 1,1,1 spam. I feel that the rest of the skills need either castime reduction or some other buffs to them. Lacks proper utility.
Flesh Golem
AI does not work properly – I have not really used minions (or like them). AI on this one is horrible. I have not seen anything so horrible regarding AI anywhere. This might be much more useful if it actually could hit the target with its autoattack and with the activation skill. The activation skill usually gets stuck on somethings on the ground.
Shroud Skills
Condition users don’t really benefit properly from it.
Spite
The vunerability application in shroud is not worth its position. It’s useless because of its slow application in my opinion.
Curses
Corruption trait needs work. Currently not very benefitting for the Necro imo. Grandmaster traits are lacking. They’re quite weak.
Death Magic

Blood Magic
Vampiric wells need work. All wells should siphon.
Soul Reaping
Dhuumfire needs a buffs. More stacks or much more longer burn times. Add also poison to the death shroud skill 1.

Hello? Any news? I’m not sure if I should cry or laugh at this matter already.
Here’s something that I’d like to see obtainable through gemstore or maybe rewarded through the game itself:
More Armor set(s) pieces(no outfits, please)
-Especially more pants for cloth armor sets (without any bumflaps). Just ordinary pants!
-More different kind of hoods for cloth and other armor classes too. There are only few different kind of hoods that are pretty tight around the neck or those that replaces shoulder item slot when used. Could we have more hoods that are closer to Order of Whispers hood (without replacing shoulders) or the hood of Grenth?
Yeah, noticed the lagging here too! We were playing Honor of the waves explorable dungeon with our guild and then suddenly horribly lag appears. We tried to relog hoping that it would help the matter – it did not help. We also restarted PCs and reseted our networks but nothing helped. Then we teleported back to Lions Arch – BOOM no lag at all. Then we moved to try different dungeon. We went and tried Twilight Arbor – no lag what so ever was in that dungeon. There was definately a problem with the servers that were running the earlier dungeon for us.

I like the upcoming changes for a warrior! Finally something that makes warrior gameplay require some timing and strategy! Honestly can’t wait for the rage of the people who can’t play the warrior as “easy mode” now, ahahah
(it’s quite fast to master still but honestly… there are so many players that don’t know meaning of timing in this game)
One thing about this change makes me feel odd though..
Since now warrios will lose their adrenaline if they miss – what about thieves that can spam backstab until they hit without any kind of punishment in stealth?
I have the problem.
- I created the Mysterious Vine a roughly week ago, before the patch.
- I had the cultivated seed in my characters bag. Now it is a pet seed
- I have done all the stories for living world 2,
- I have everything to continue with the back item to ascended except the correct seed.
(package of oasis soaked food, Attuned grow lamp, package of ley line dusted plant food, chaos infused clay pot)
Balance team consists of Pickle the Hamster. This little hamster picks up the “lottery numbers” and balance is done by the will of the RNG balls and Pickle the Hamster!

The part 22.
“While participating in Plaver-vs-Player (PvP) gameplay, you will not participate in any form of match manipulation. Match manipulation is defined as any action taken to fix or manipulate the outcome of a match or alter or manipulate the rankings or ratings of the ladder. This also includes disrupting other people’s game experience by not actively participating in matches in good faith, a.k.a leeching.”
How many times have you seen this happen in pvp lately? There’s atleast one person in PvP or in tournament who refuses to play.
Atleast I will start reporting everyone who does not actively play in PvP (mainly solo and team queue) to support. I want them to do something about the fact that somebody refuses to play in these “competive” environment.
Another quote from the beginning:
“Please be aware that failure to comply with these rules of conduct may result in the termination of your Guild Wars 2 game account according to the Guild Wars 2 User Agreement.”
I also wanted to hear from the Anet itself – can we get that report button for AFK players in sPvP already so we can follow your rules of conduct better?

A business that basically throws nothing to buy for some of their customers (pvp players). They could easily make up something to make PvP more “selling”. Finishers just don’t cut it. They might lose some stress on servers because of pvp players that leave but those are also possible customers – important as any other player on the server. Why are they not catering all of their customers equally? PvP team is lost at what they do – or atleast this is the picture I get of them because of the lack of communication. And with communication I mean actual talk rather than “soon, Eventually, Some day” -talk.
Eventually? You mean “Soon”? All of this nonsense has given me a bad image of Anet for me. I used to like this company until I saw how they communicate with the fans about their game. I hope that the new pvp “features” (probably tool tips corrections only) are worth the wait and are coming up in less than four years. How come pve has so much content but pvp does not get really anything? New reward tracks? Could’ve suited nicely for the new living story… nope… nothing new.
I really do hope that this matter will get the attention it deserves from the developers. This issue has been in the game for too long already.
I wonder if Anet is planning to do similar “fix” for the Capricorn map as they did with the Temple of silent storm. They could probably edit the map so that It would be playable without the water element? The map itself looks and feels good except the underwater parts IMO.

Hi there!
Since we’re not getting the feature patch on March 18th I was wondering that are we going to receive some kind of server or client fine tunings or changes that might improve the performance of Guild Wars 2? It is maintenance build after all! Just wondering.
This just happened for me couple of minutes ago. Our server finally defeated Marionette and at the very start of the event my laptop DC’d. (My girlfriend was playing on our other PC and she did not get any DC during the whole fight)
So after we killed Marionette I did not get any reward? How is this fair? I was active 99% of the whole event and did not get any reward because of the DC which was probably problem with Arena nets servers?
I want justice for this <.<

No improvement for me. It boosted fps by a few but I think that this was mainly because there were no shadows present.
I’m still struggling with the issue. I’ve made ticket about the matter but that seems to go nowhere <.<
If Anet could give some kind of response about the matter. Anything would be welcome.
I wonder is thing even looked into. I really hope they’re working for a fix for this issue. I can’t play this game with my laptop anymore after the last patch. I’d really like to be able to play with my GF but I can’t if my laptop isn’t able to run it at all…
I have pretty similar sounding problem too! The fps was drastically lower after the latest patches.
Does your sound get “noise” every now and then when you move your cursor?

I’ve noticed that after the last patch (adventure box patch) my sounds in-game are totally messed up. There are static noises in every sound. Also the FPS is drastically lower. Currently it is so low that I can’t play. Every time I move my camera around the fps drops to 2-4. Before this patch my fps was pretty smooth nearly 30 all the time but only dropping to very low in huge zergs.
All of this started to happen when the Back to School patch game. I think this has something to do with the audio engine update.
I’ve tried changing the graphic options and none of them help. The performance setting works as bad as the auto-detect settings. Also the settings in Audio tab do not help me in any way. No help from windowed mode or vertical sync. None of the option changes help.
All other games I have installed work perfectly fine. No fps drops – no static sounds.
Any help?

There are no problems in character selection screen. The fps is smooth as a butter and the sounds have no statics sounds to them!

The cursor also seems to be blinking when moved over UI buttons and other UI related things. The fps rises to roughly 20 when looking straight into the ground nothing else is visible and drops instantly when looking up.
I also checked my drivers for crucial components. All of my drivers are the latest ones that are avaible for my laptop.
…..and I guess that this topic is in wrong place :p

This is exactly what everyone thought when they saw the SAB stuck into guild wars. It seemed radically different from what other games are doing.
You can’t speak for everyone, only few probably thought it was “stunning”
If someone finds SAB visually stunning that’s their opinion but I think that this style is no where close to being stunning or anything special. The style is just pixels – pixels what the gaming community has been seeing since the beginning of gaming.

It is great that Anet creates these awesome content patches for us but somethings just clash so bad here!
It was enough that there was one of these already during April fools – which actually made the content seem actually like a prank and as a “Funny thing”… but now.. Why!?
Keep the SAB in SAB. Don’t corrupt the beatiful world you’ve created with this junk. It’s horrible.
The best thing about these recent patches is that I don’t need to take part in them if I don’t want to. Anet, please make sure that you do this again.

What happened to these promises? The SAB doesn’t match either of those things said. I’ve always adored your art and style you created for this game but SAB is just a letdown.

I’ve seen my fair share of odd behavior of the living things of Tyria.. but this little Marmox takes the 1st place of oddness in my current list. I never knew that Marmox could climb a tree!

There is currently bug with trait called “Distracting Strikes VII” (strength). This does apply for the warrior downed skill “2” hammer if it interrupts foe. It doesn’t create stacks of confusion for the foe when the foe is interrupted.
Our damage increasing traits such as Desperate Power, Empowered (Tactics), Destructionof the Empowered (Discipline) and Berserker’s Power (Strenght) do not increase damage done by conditions in any way. Tooltip error most likely?
Also the Stronger Bowstrings makes all (except skill number 3 for longbow) projectile finishers which isn’t mentioned in the trait itself.
I’m pretty sure that there are many other errors or stuff similar to these and probably most of these are already known but hopefully this catches more visibility for these “bugs/errors” so they could be fixed one day

Can anyone else confirm that this trait (Desperate Power – III) from tactics trait line does not affect condition damage? I’ve tried testing this in the PvP test dummies with low health. I don’t know if it works in PvE since I haven’t tested it there. I also haven’t really seen this increase the damage done by conditions in real matches.
It would’ve been a good trait for couple of condition specs I’ve been thinking about but it does not help the situation if it not increasing damage done by conditions.
Is this a bug or is it intended?
I hate when the “tool tips” are so vague that they don’t tell exactly what they affect or how they affect…

I think I have a problem with my achievement points and large chests.
When I got the chest for 3000 points I received Zenith skin from the chest… Shouldn’t I have gotten the gloves instead?
I got another large chest (4000points) this morning and I got another Zenith skin out from it. Is this normal or do I still get a chance to have the gloves? I really would love to have the gloves but instead of those I have more Zenith skins.
Here’s some questions from me:
1. Blind was fixed but the fixed affected warriors quite harshly. Are there any plans to help warriors cope with blind so they won’t become totally locked out with certain weapons?
2. Is there any plans of improving warrior healing skills?
3. The new trait “cleansing Ire” was welcome addition to warrior class. Are there more plans to make similarly working skills/traits for warrior? This kind of mechanic includes new gameplay elements to warrior but against strong blind builds this causes some troubles to work.
I think that is all I can think of now. I’d be really glad if you were able to dig up an answer for some of these from the devs!
This thread is another fine example how greatly the Anet communicates with the fans. Honestly.. How hard is it to drop by and confirm such a thing?

ArenaNet you need to communicate better with your playerbase! Add other time zones to your info posts and communicate more clearly about your plans with the players.
I’m annoyed to always be searching for time zone infos just like many other players too. How hard it would be to add other time zones to your posts and infos? It takes less than 30 seconds for you and it would save hundreds of post in the forums about the matter + It would save a lot of frustration of many players. Please start taking account other players playing in different time zones too.
Also you should start being true to your word. If you say an event starts at 9pdt it should start then. Not a half an hour later no matter if the event is tied to swimming hippopotamus or in-game time of day. Waisting players time like that is disrespectful for your customers.
I’m also very sad to see that you’ve just deleted my other thread about the matter. I hope that you atleast took a note of the things mentioned there so you can do things better in the future.
Our elite skill flesh golem seems to lack the intelligence to attact foes from time to time. This enemy rarely attacks on a first hit of the necromancer. The pet usually goes to attack the foe after 5th or 6th attack.
I hope there would be some improvements coming for this minion. It has a lot of potential but currently seems to suffer from all kinds of bugs and from horrific pathfinding.
Sometimes in pvp the charge gets stuck on the smallest things and the golem them runs on its place thus not stunning or knocking back anyone. Also the charge skill used against gates in Legacy of Foefire can cause the minion to run through the gate! And why this pet can’t work under water too? – Capricorn is a terrible map for necromancers with this pet.
+ that mesmers elite “moa” skill can cancel all of our minions <.<
I just hope that arena net would do something about our minions especially the flesh golem. Currently they suffer from too many bugs. It’s funny how quickly Anet started looking into the teleporting issues with thieves and mesmers and when it comes to necromancers or warriors Anet does things really really slowly.

We have a similar thread about PvP in the pvp forum and it got quite many good replies in a short time and it is a great way to send feedback to Anet. So I created this for the warrior.
Tell your own top three opinions about warrior – how would you like to see it improved?
(Also state clearly is it about pvp or pve!)
Here’s my list
1. New profession mechanic (F1 skills) pve/pvp
Currently our profession only has one unique mechanic and it is a single new skill per weapon that works using adrenaline. I think this resource mechanic could be vastly improved. What about adding couple more F1, F2 etc. skills? Our profession feels little hollow when compared for some other professions.
As for example thieves:
Thief can use stealth – while stealhed they gain new attack in the first attack button. Thieves also have steal – gives new attack available based on opponent. Their attack 3 changes based on the weapons chosen. They also have new resource – initiative.
I would like that our profession would have similar level of depth rather than only a bar that can be filled and then emptied in a lackluster attack. Give us more options! Heal for adrenaline, boons for adrenaline? Anything new for the profession would make it more awesome!
2. Improve weapons pve/pvp
Currently there are few weapons which are much better than some other weapons. Some of our weapons feel clunky and could use more love! As for example: Mace would be really great weapon if the attacks were little faster and the weakness on the attack 1 would last a bit longer. Longbow currently strugless from similar issue – the arrows fly quite slowly and seem to have quite long “casting time” before the fly off.
So improve our weapons! We don’t have much class mechanic but we have a huge arsenal of weapons to choose from – improve them and you’ll see many kinds of warrior roaming around!
3. New traits/burst dmg+
I mean… 3% more burst damage for 30 points in one tree? This should be changed, this currently does not have much effect on warrior. The burst damage could be swapped with adrenaline regeneration or something else? I dunno something else would do much better than the 3% burst damage.
There are also some traits/trees that could use more work. There are not many condition based traits in our trees or something protective traits other than in defense tree(can’t remember the correct name). New interesting traits would be welcome. The new traits added in the last patch was totally awesome and similar traits would be very welcome!
So what are your OPINIONS? What would you have listed as “top three” changes or improvements you would change in our profession?
1. Balance/diversity in builds.
I would really like seeing more different opponents and build possibilities in the game. Currently there are only few different builds for each profession.
2. More game modes.
New maps with the mode would bring a lot of new feel to to pvp. This would also cause people to use some other pvp builds that are not viable in the conquest mode.
Modes like “King of the Hill” and “Capture the Flag” would be very welcome. Capture the flag would be something really awesome!
3. Better progression/rewards.
The current rewards are ok, but I think they’re lacking something. The pvp level is coming quite slowly in the higher ranks so instead of farming pvp level we could try to get something else in pvp? New gear, new finishers etc. Something new to “farm” instead of pvp level and perhaps another way to spend glory too?
4+. Disabling spectating – a personal choice
After recent happenings I would really much appreciate a possibility to choose from options menu to disable spectating for myself. I’m sure that many would also like that. Don’t tell me about playing in a server with no spectator mode – there are none of them currently active and I don’t want to be searching for them anyways. I want to use my time playing rather than looking for specific server.
I’ve ecountered a small but quite annoying bug with banners lately. I’ve seen this happen only in PvP currently.
In few occasions when I use the buffs from Discipline banner the banner slows down the movement speed of the warrior beyond normal moving speed. The character starts to move as slowly as it would be crippled. This happens when Im out of combat. It lasts about 1 – 2 seconds then the movement speed gets back to normal.
Anyone else has this same problem?
