As I, at times will play a hammer guardian, I find the area retaliation from using Mighty Blast in the Symbol of protection to be not that great (from a pve point of view). Thus I am suggesting instead of area retaliation it is changed to an aoe condition removal. But only one condition removed per blast finisher or even one condition per unique light field. I feel like this would sort of make sense seeing as whirl finisher and projectile finishers remove conditions in light fields, although not very reliable.
So I just made this weapon and I am quite enjoying it (for the few times I do go underwater for combat) but I have one question, which I think might be a bug. It appears that a shark will appear on critical hits, as far as I know, but for rangers it will only pop up on the #3 spear skill? Is this intended? Because I know almost all warrior’s underwater skills will pop a shark on crit (dat tornado slash), as well as thieves. And if this is intended…. that’s completely lame and you should just have all spear skills have the shark pop up on crit.
For the love of all humanity, if you show a dungeon run on the stream, please DO NOT run a bearbow set up and chill at 1200 range with a longbow…
PS if you do do a dungeon, try using the sword auto attack on like… any boss and tell us how you feel it is…

Ok thank you guys for the answers, quite depressing that the shark only pops on one attack, I think once I actually get it i’ll post on the bug forum and see if i can get a response, unless it’s intended rangers only get the spear effect on one attack lol…
So I am currently making incinerator and the legendary spear for my ranger and was wondering if either weapon actually has any special effects on ranger’s skills or if you just get the fancy skin, such as the shark popping up on critical hits for the spear. Granted I read on the wiki that the shark will only pop on ONE ranger attack as opposed to the entire skillbar which is rather depressing considering almost all of the warrior’s attacks will make the shark pop up … And then for incinerator when you use the throw dagger skill does it actually throw incinerator? Or just the default dagger? Maybe i’ll just put the spear on my warrior if ranger’s get no love… #thestruggle
I am in cursed shore right now trying it and I’m pretty sure it doesn’t. Oh well was hoping for a new sword auto update but we just get a bugged tool tip.
