I can offer 1 bit of advice, find a guild that is newbie friendly and has people that are knowledgeable about the game available to answer your questions. I know in my guild myself and a few others answer any questions that are passed our way whenever we’re online.
Enemies get Invulnerable when they cannot reach you, it’s an anti-exploit mechanism that I’ve seen in other games.
It comes up more often against melee enemies since they’d have to follow a path to you rather then fire off ranged attacks. If the path isn’t available, they’ll become invulnerable until you move to a position where they can engage you.
Yes, all your characters will transfer over properly, only thing that doesn’t make a transfer is progress in your guild, for example if you’ve made progress on upgrades on your home server, when you change servers you’ll have to reacquire the influence for those upgrades. (NOTE: The upgrades are retained on your home server if you ever go back)
What type of help are you looking for currently? I’m a level 66 Engineer (loving the burst potential of it) but I have several low level alts that I can roam around with.
What server do you play on, I’m almost in the same boat as you since I can’t find work… The guild I’m in is looking for more players, we’re on Ferguson’s Crossing with a considerable amount of work put into our upgrades.
It’ll last as long as it lasts, they haven’t announced an end date for it yet, when they decide to end it they stated they’ll give warning ahead of schedule (how much warning is anyones guess)
