After some more playing i found out i indeed lack survival.
So I tried to swap GS for Staff for more support and go from direct damage to more condition damage.

However with the added survival spec/stats, i loose on the power trait tree. If going for the condition damage, wil the damage output still be good?
Should i have the power stat on my gear? or go full condition damage?

Hi all, I recently started a new mesmer toon and even tho I find the class a little difficult to play, I think its also a very fun class!

I was wondering, is this a good one for solo PvE leveling??
Are there utilities that fit better??
What type of gear should i be aiming for?? Damage or survivability?

Hi all,

First let me say I am more a casual gamer then a hardcore one, but i would like to branch out in WvW in addition to PvE.

I entered the borderlands twice now and tried to follow the big groups to capture certain map points etc but im afraid i do not completely understand how all it works, like specifick tacticts, how to use siege weapons, the supply depots.. all the basics one has to learn to participate in the battles.

In short, I am a WvW noob, and i would like to learn how to effectively play WvW.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Also it it necessary to join a guild??

one of the few medium armors i like is the medium duelist armor. And i like to use it for transmutation (atleast until i hit lvl80
However i can’t seem to find it anywhere.
Does anyone know how to get it?? its not on the TP either..

So the skins available on the store are account bound and according to the wiki are send to you by mail.
So does that mean all my chars and future chars receive this by mail?? Like the same as the Hero’s band??
Does the same aply to the dye packs?

I really like the ranger. You have a pet that can assist you in battle. Good in both ranged and melee combat.. and i like the utilities and elites.

I am on a different home server, but I have the same problem. The guy simply is not there. And it is the last thing I need in Queensdale as well. Shame. Hope they fix it soon. Send a report about it.
