I am not a member of DVG, but I can recommend DVG for others.

Unlike some other guilds DVG doesn’t have any hint of elitism, despite they have some really nice veteran commanders, who know their job.

If you want to join a server, who is playing like a server with server wide TS and large active community, not just for elitistic bunch of competitive guilds (“My guild is better than yours”), I can really recommend Desolation. EU currently doesn’t have any better International servers for that type of play.

We had some rough times in Spring 2013 and lost around 1500-2000 hard core WvWvW players due stale match ups. Now we have been improving week after week. Our morning coverage is still really weak at the moment and yesterday afternoon I saw us once again heavily outnumbered (the “buff”) at EB and two BLs. Despite the enemy is outnumbering us, we are most likely going to end up #2 in our current match up, against two higher ranked servers. At best 1 Desolation guy is worth 5 enemy players.

This is NOT a paid promotion. I have no association with DVG. I am just another fighter and PuG commander working to make Desolation the best server in the world.

Okay then, this morning was terrible for us. We had 20 people running around after the big SFR crew taking back whatever they take, and yeah you had more then 50 people.

I dont blame you guys for steamrolling us in the morning, in fact I admire it. If we could field the same numbers, we would do the same. WvW is 24/7, if you can’t get numbers a particulary time, then that is your problem and not the other server.

good job! Hopefully, in some weeks time, we will be able to put up a fight in the morning.

I can say that if anyone was to decide to join us on Desolation, you would not be dissapointed! We have people online 24/7, always doing something fun in WvW!

Nice matchup, im really happy about this week! Will be nice to beat elona and get some morale back to the troops

Nahhh, its just that DVG is the same as any other guild. They randomly recruit people from all over the server but do not talk or give them any respect.

DVG I am sorry but you have failed, you have some nice karaoke night teams but that’s all.. I joined the guild for some interactive active play but you have ignored everything I have said for the couple of weeks so I decided to leave.

Freakin beautiful! High pitched voices, loud noises and false singing but fun as hell was it ! Desolation got talent for real!

First of all, thanks to CoN for the nice sparring match against us. We learned alot and hopefully we can bring something tougher for you next matchup!:D

Secondly, I wanna say thanks to SFR and VIZ for this matchup, its been a nice one with lots of good fights! I admire you both for the strong presence and coverage you can field! Keep it up!

thirdly, thanks to everyone on Desolation for the most awesome night ever. Over 80 people on teamspeak and a big freakin karaoke train all night! it was amazing!

on the other hand im a bit sad to see that Desolation suddenly lost ALOT of people this week, dont know what happend tbh. DVG would like to say thanks to both VIZ, SFR and those guilds/player that showed up this week on a regular basis!

Today has been a strange day, have barely seen any kodash or millers

I’m not very active on the forums so much anymore but just wanna say that I really underestimated both Millers and Kodash. Two servers that I really enjoy fighting against, gotten some really good fights both on Borderlands and EB. Also you have some very good small roaming squads that keeps us occupied during night/early morning.

And yeah, we will never run away from fair fights Even tho we play for points and we do it cause we think its fun, we will still value a good fight. And yeah, some people think points is a fun way to play wvw !:)

I agree that we shouldnt have any drama on this forum page, but you just contributed to it mr hawke. And please stop telling us how we play and basically saying that we dont play for fun, Im having loads of fun each and every day. I’m gonna stop looking at the matchup threads from now on.

As for what happened last night, i saw us lose a tower and hills for bay that we held onto for 5 min, i just think thats a shame..

I already left cos I’m sick of how Deso is playing, DVG is doing it’s best to ruin the image created for Deso by the old guilds that left and some that stayed. I refuse to play on a server that plays like Vizunah.

It’s kinda funny to read post from random pugzords. Deso showed how they are good “under preassure”. When your mighty blobb is owned by one PS guild, in magic way you are going to change border. On last week, on every border your blob was runing away from PS organized groups, so please dont tell me that Deso is doing good under preassure. Most of morning/prime time you are being pushed to your borders, and just simply changing borders if its to hard for your 70+ blobbs. Sorry to say, but you are great forum warriors, nothing more. Keep dreaming that you deserve wining or so. Im pretty sure, if PS would find any night shift your mighty server prolly would be crushed.

No but I enjoy this matchup and we gotten some really good fights, I rarely run with my zerg from a fight if its equal. Lets just enjoy what’s left of the matchup and try to end this week in a good way

And yeah we have a dedicated crew that plays almost all the time including night to get points for our server Let’s just all respect how other wants to play

And yes, we are trying to rebuild what we have and a considerable amount of people think winning is a way to do that. Ofcourse everyone hates when vizunah does it, who likes to loose t3 keeps?

I understand people want to play at night (being from Canada and at least 5 hours behind EU I always play when the majority are sleeping). However, there is a difference between playing at night and golem rushing every empty objective you see. I know you want Deso to win, and so do I, but is becoming vizunah really worth that gold medal? At the end of the week if we win. Look at how we did it before you celebrate.

Let vizunah play how they want to play, dont really see why people have to flame them for it. You all know that golemrushing and taking t3 keeps is fun as hell. Even if I know that some things that they do might be a bit weird (running from fights etc), but I do not see why you should complain on them for it.

Let them play how they like to play, keep fighting how you want to and everything will be good. You have to admit, you have gotten a kittenload of badges and bags out of vizunah corpses, as have I also.

Desolation is gonna take your #1 soon Vizunah, be ready;)

Awesome! Another week of lootbags and our chance to improve ourselves serverwide! I want it to be known that not everyone on Desolation feels that this is a “curse”. It’s rather a chance for us, cause in some weeks/months when we finally beat down Vizunah from that #1, it will be Vizunah which is cursed.

Some parts of Desolation is on the uprising, and we will fight until the last minute! Hope for a good week with both Augury rock & Vizunah.

Well done this week, we had some very nice fights with both elona and kodash.

I am also happy to see that desolation is on the rise. We will reach our full potential in some time and we will be stronger then before.

We had loads of fun on EB last night and this morning. Desolation is really strong on EB and Desolation BL on our primetime and this last week we’ve actually had quite a strong night squad. About BB keep last night and this morning, we got bugged in. I tried to get everyone who bugged in to jump out immediatly (Myself jumped out after got bugged out).

Thanks for the loads of fun BB and Vizunah! Lets try and get some more open field fights and not only stay inside of towers !

Had loads of fun on EB this night, we used the new tactics called “Yumping Tactics” (jumping). We did pritty good, but baruch bay stood strong against our yumping forces. We will come yumping around when you least expect it.

sh!t like that happends all the time, i could take 100s of pictures when me n some friends try a tower or keep n a deso zerg raid us, even stack up, veil n etc against 5 of us! :P

just drop this, we in SFR allready told you we do blob up at times but mostly avoiding it special on borderlands.. You can’t take a few guy denying blobing then flame the whole server for it.
It happends on all servers, when you cant fight a guild raid you have to blob.

Funny it came from an INVI member again, you guys love to flame SFR when Kodash is the one who blob up most of the time, special when they have no chance against our russian guild raids..
