The armor types of the armors must still match, it’s most likely that you’re trying to transmute light -> medium or something to that extent.
In my case this is not the problem. I also checked to see if it’s an issue with skins by going to the HOM and getting a Heritage Skin to see what would happen. It will allow the transmutation.
You need to actually click on the parts of the armor you want to transmute in order for the button to become active. The transmute window has three components: skin, stats, and rune/gem. So in this case, you would click on Profane Mantle to keep the skin, click the stats from the Apothecary, and I believe the rune should auto-select since the Profane doesn’t have one on it already.
It’s not a bug. Putting anything into the upgrade slot will make the item soulbound to you. Pretty sure a prompt comes up when you do that too.

The patch notes say those zones will be able to, not that it’s guaranteed you will always get level 80 loot.

You get 5 relics per run.
A Simpl Infusion costs 75 relics, a Versaile Infusion costs 225.
A Prototype Fractal Capacitor (backpiece) costs 1350 relics.
At level 1 you get 5 per run. No one knows how many we get for more levels.
Yeah, something isn’t working. I noticed a little while ago that it wasn’t blocking spammers when I reported them either.
As far as I know, just reporting someone doesn’t put them in your block list.
No MMO is without grind. Its impossible to achieve this. Even GW1 had grind (even though GW1 is not an MMO). Kurzick/Luxon title was a pretty lengthy grind. Getting obsidian armor was a pretty lengthy grind. Etc etc.
