Hmm, that sounds interesting. Have a mob record how many players are attacking itself thus resulting in a increase in powah! I foresee some fun and hilarious times. lol!
20-30 silver lvl 50 Mesmer. I had about 1.3g I guess due to someone giving me 1g. But that’s all gone due to buying armor for their skins, crafting, tons of repairs due to perpetual dying, gear upgrades and ummm... dyes.
I have found if you just run the maps to completion and don’t die, Youll be okay. It’s fairly easy to not die but I haven’t learned it yet. hehe You will need to do extra activities to attain higher amounts of money. Such as farming something and selling, perhaps getting lucky on a drop and selling. I fear I will never attain exotics, cultural or karma gears due to I don’t care for the grinds. Ah well, taking my time and having fun. The various quests/hearts payouts are increasing too so its a it better.

If they expanded the clothes system to allow crafter’s to make them then add the ability to skin anything and everything regardless if light/medium/heavy/town clothes. It would be fantastic!
I tend to agree. Many of the armors aren’t really appealing. I see someone wearing armor that I do like but find that I cannot wear it. This is a huge deterrent not allowing players to wear what they want, when they want.
Thank you for the clothes option. Nice idea but where are they? Why must it automatically swap to your armor? Where are the dozens of player crafted shirts, pants, boots recipes in game? Social content ya know. Mix and match and whatever. This is a HUGE factor in a mmo. Eating and drinking and smoking animations and tons of animated emotes.
Sitting in chairs. Mounts. Customizable player housing with item placement where you want? Why have a market, bazaar, auction house, trading post but in place player vendors in your house! Why aren’t these standard designs? MMO’s are meant to mimic real life, so to speak.
Have been in mmo’s over a decade now. Social items, Appearance and Gameplay (that has nothing to do with gaining xp of any kind)are what makes mmo’s. Continuous designs and content added. There is never meant to be a ’endgame’ which brings the thought of a ending. Levels also bring about that thought.
Going out on a ledge here but just about every mmo’s money types, inflate to insane amounts. What’s the point? Why must a mmo’s designs be Capitalistic? Which leads to grinds of sorts. Why do something over and over and over? It’s pretty much guaranteed that grinds don’t keep players.
I really enjoy GW2. So many cumbersome designs have been fixed. Many things are missing that keep players.
Please feel free to debate me. Ya know, it really doesn’t matter.
Not the same options for everyone? Oh man! Equal rights doesn’t exist in GW2.
Mine seemed pretty easy but I have only tried once. A mesmer and I believe I was 38 and hadn’t tried AC. So I ported there, messaged once out in /map and received a invite. Turns out I was the fifth in the group and we went right in. I haven’t read up on the dungeon so I knew nothing and still know nothing. Everyone was great and talked to each other. I have yet to try it again as well as the Mansion.

Ouch! That’s a little on the low end side. I would suggest to stay away from i3’s for they are only two cores. But that leaves you limited somewhat to a processor that’s close to 200.00. On that note, the motherboard to support it more than likely will be over 100.00 See what your running into? I haven’t looked anything up but I can guess it will difficult to find something around 300.00. You also have to keep in mind other components. Power supply, memory, hard drives, video card etc.. It will get pricey.
’terrible stats’ meaning, Stats that people don’t go for? Then I agree, Lower the costs so we can get the skins.
I would like to suggest ‘Private Mail’ Honestly, I cannot believe this option hasn’t been implemented when game mail came about. Friend’s List, Guild list and Game System’s mails.
Thanks!
Hmm, Perhaps a dev power to simply disable the chat. heh
A Asura Engineer very entertaining. I see a trend. lol
If you have the money to spend on Alienware, Then build your own. Well, the great thing about buying a pre-built IS the warranty but honestly, that’s it but that could be enough for people. Your topic is misleading for I was expecting NVidia tweaks. (which I don’t need but I’m a tech head and like to read what others write)
To tweak a computer. Keep it mind ‘performance’:
OS only hard drive, preferable SSD. Look up Windows7 tweaks and Windows7 SSD tweaks (a must). Win7 has a ton of bloated processes you don’t need. Re-direction of your swapfile from the SSD to a physical magneto optical drive a must.
Game only hard drive, preferably a 10k rpm. You can use a separate SSD but you might run into games file swapping which could lead to issues.
SSD’s are fast but they do not handle small files such as INet temp files, Windows Temp directory and file swapping, Firefox cache too. You could even add databases to this list. Look it up and check it out for yourselves.
For ever 20 years now, The easiest and best thing you can do to a computer is throw more memory in it. RAM! Keeping that in mind, When you look up processors for instance, You can tell ‘the more cache memory the chip has, the more expensive it is.’ Hmmmm.. Greed!
Video cards are basically the same thing but there is more technology you will need to know about the cards to know if the card is a 4-cylinder or a V8. With NVidia, it’s memory (a shocker there) and how many CUDA cores it can handle. 128bit, 256bit, 384bit, 512bit. Think of it like a bigger pipe handling more.
A quality motherboard that ties everything together. Some mobo chipsets work better than others.
Well I hope this helps. I myself upgraded from having a Dual Core2 E8200 to a socket2011 i7-3820. Very similar to the socket 1155 i7’s with a couple differences. No on board graphics mainly but twice the bandwidth! Oh and guess what… More cache memory! Yeah I couldn’t afford the 6 cores. Didn’t replace any hard drives. I run a 64Gb SSD OS drive. I will install some applications here too. 10k rpm Velociraptor and a third dump drive for anything else. I didn’t upgrade the video card and still run a NVidia 460GTX. I also kept the price down getting a microATX board in place of the full ATX since I don’t have add-on cards really anymore and didn’t need SLI. RAM is soo cheap! 16GB 4×4. Add in a SeaSonic 650w PSU and ended up spending under 700.00.
I can really tell the difference between a older bottleneck CPU machine compared now to the new bottleneck GPU machine.
Nice features! I’d like to add a suggestion to only allow emails from other players IF they are on your friend’s list.
