I totally disagree kalocin, the world to me is very much alive. Npcs are conversing regularly, often leading into a DE which takes them to another place on the map.

After 2 months I’m still in awe of this amazing world they’ve created, I often just sit on a hill and just observe the world around me.

Sorry but the reAlity in every mmo is that your play time WILL dictate your experience.

People sleep in the morning on Sunday. If you play typically in the early hours, then roll on an overseas server, simple.

Join a full server, the game is a lot more fun with a lot of people around.

I stopped using waypoints a couple weeks ago, much more rewarding game as a result. I agree there should be less.

Agreed respawn rates must come down. Let me actually have a second to take in the gorgeous world! And nothing breaks immersion like mobs popping up all around you that you JUST killed.

This is the main reason I play this game.

I hope they improve the weather to include more severe conditions.

The 550ti is hardly a weak card.

Well this a real nice feel good thread! I’m all for this, I’m on tarnished coast, and just like glitch I have a very small guild called hopeless wanderers, mostly for bank space. But I’m totally down with this cross-server idea! Love the game and would love to contribute to its community!

Yup I transferred to tarnished coast and I don’t regret it at all. Very friendly and talkative group of players!

Now that you mention it, yeah the spam is very minimal now, great job anet!

So to everyone sayin that the decline has begun and pops are dropping…anet just launched a new NA server yesterday, what’s your logic on that?

I think at this stage we’ve all made our point. I always like more options, but it is what it is folks. Lets politely voice our concerns and hope that we can see some changes in the future.

Just put yourself in Jon’s shoes…here he is trying to explain the issue and convey what anet plans to do about it, and while some of us did explain ourselves with respect, a lot were just mob mentality remarks.

It’s no wonder he hasn’t responded for a while, he’s kitten if he does, kitten if he doesn’t.

This is the first mmo I’ve played where not only do you get rewarded for taking your time and exploring, but they make you WANT to explore and take it all in.

For an mmo, IMHO, that is a huge innovation.

Most recent releases have absolutely no soul, whereas this game is the polar opposite. You can see the blood, sweat and tears that went into his game, and I for one appreciate it immensely and pinch myself every time I play, it’s that good.

Yup try getting into a full server at an off peak time. No pop issues in mine (tarnished coast) at all.

I’m going at the same pace as you op, and I’m tackling it the same way, playing toons at once, and just enjoying the game at a nice pace.

I’m just worried that I’m missing out on some lore or something that was in that mail? Seems weird that my asuran is just expected to go there for no reason?

I’ve heard I get mail sending me to my first dungeon, but I didn’t receive it. I was then told to advance my ps, so I did that. It’s now at lv31, just got sent to lions arch but still nothing?

Am I missing something or is it still a bit further into my PS?

Just playing, but as someone playing 4 toons at once an tryin to level all 8 crafting professions at once…. Yeah I’m broke as hell.

More so then ever! I have a feeling I’m going to be here a very long time!

I haven’t even done a dungeon yet but I’m taking my time, and I’m happy to see them really bear down on the things that matter before worrying about adding content.

Reading these patch notes, the explanations given for certain previous fixes and the reason why they were implemented is very encouraging. Anet is clearly listening to us, but also maintaining THEIR vision of the game.

I’m sorry but this is an amazing patch addressing many of the issues have been complaining about for a while, and we’re fixating on an incredibly small portion of the game and continuing to complain? Sigh…

I’d also like to know, would help with events for sure!

But doesn’t every race have its own levelling area branch all the way to 80? I have 4 toons going and my highest is only 26 but looking at the map it looks like only the asuran and sylvari areas join together later on.

If this is true, how can people complain about content when there’s essentially 4 totally different experiences to play through?
