I like Toxx and Hexx but I can not come up with good titles or whatever to go with them (I.E. philosopher Hexx)
I’m open to other ideas for first names but i want is to sound asuran and still fit my little necro.

I like puns but hexx i LOVE, necroey and asuran.. i might steal it

the problem is it taking 6 seconds to cast my heal while fighting jormag. i’m not sure this is an over population issue or a culling issue or maybe a combo. But the IS a problem here. I find if i stand still at the side it goes away but if i run around and participate my computer goes nuts, i’m fairly sure this is because of culling as it’s trying to load new sets of characters constantly. Maybe i’m wrong but my computer is a beast and i didn’t have troubles before culling/guesting now i do.

Needing to buy some oby shards, if your server ha balthazar open please let me know!

Drop rate of Rare items was nowhere near 50%, if you were getting that lucky I can see why you think this change is bad because you made tons of gold from farming those events. For me personally it was about 5% I would say. I could kill dragons all day and not see a rare. Same for tempe events. Good change, if they see its getting out of control I’m pretty sure they will adjust it again.

that s a fair gear suggestion, i have a combo zerker build atm with a mix of knights and zerker gear. Was trying to figure out the logistics of 3 full gear sets and a billion weapons ;p
What is the purpose of rampager instead of carrion? for precision? i mean obviously the crit is nice but it seems a bit less useful in this build than a defensive stat like vitality would be.. i like having 25k health lol

I knew that about iduelist but I had somehow overlooked that fact when thinking about this. I like focus for wvw bc i like ripping upscales off the towers and reflection is fun against zerglings. I think I will go pistol with this build though, thats a lto of confusion. I am going to try out your trait adjustments. I can see the logic behind them for the most part. So are you talking a 4/9/10/5/10/2/5 trait set up?

I’m trying to throw together this build that plays off of confusion/retaliation and reflection. Ive tested it out on mobs but i need some feedback.

I am still considering torch but I don’t really want to lose the benefits of either focus or staff.

Your main confusion generator is your shatters, they also do their own significant damage. Retaliation comes from shatters and your light field leap combo from the focus. I have around 24k health in this setup running full carrion gear, rune of the undead (adventure maube?) and chrysecola jewelry.
Does anyone have any opinions on this at all?

My friend and I have been regularly playing hide-n-seek in LA since launch. We have a lot of fun with it and had a set of rules made up with boundaries and what not. Since culling was implemented it no longer works bc our characters don’t load fast enough. This was an extremely sad discovery for us. I realize some people had problems with loading and what not but is it possible to implement an option to turn culling off?

Does anyone else have reasons why they dont like culling?

I remember complaining in WoW but it seems like every mmo since then the level of complaining has just been so much worse.. Or maybe I’m more sensitive to it because I want to defend a game I actually love..

OK I understand there were some issues with some of the content put out that people had a problem with.

The permanent weapons are too hard to get, waaaah I can’t have everything in the game for free. Ok this is ridiculous. They put in some cool looking weapons that can be made with the forge, they are hard to make and will take a decent amount of time and money. If you can’t/wont make them than that’s fine some people can’t/wont make legendaries. These aren’t for you they are for the collectors that want something rare and harder to obtain.

The Black Lion Chests, yes it’s a problem, they have acknowledged that it’s a problem and they are looking into putting in a way that players can craft the weapons with stuff they get out of the chests. Give them a freaking break guys it’s the first event and the first act of the first event. They do have to make money to cover the cost of the content. I agree keys and lotteries aren’t my favorite solution but they see that we don’t like it. Give them a chance to change it before everyone freaks out, it’s been less than 2 days.

Stop whining about the brawl, wth is everyones problem here. The gem store costumes aren’t that great, they aren’t designed for the brawl they are for looking cool and showing off. Do people seriuosly HAVE to have something to complain about?

The event, it’s awesome, figure out the little scavenger hunt get your FREE back pack skin, get your free devils ears. Play costume brawl or food fight. Go get some candy corn and whatever to get some recipes. Carve some kitten pumpkins.. This is supposed to be fun and them not handing you every single item is not preventing it from being fun, your attitude is. Wait patiently for ACT II and see what else they add.

Has no one noticed how epic looking lion’s arch is? They put a lot of money and work into making your city look sweet and all you guys can do is complain. This was an expensive endeavor for them and not something we usually see from a f2p game. Ya it could of been better, there might be better yet to come.. it just started.

Also did we all forget they added permanent crap too…. go try your new jumping puzzles and stuff.

And can we just all please have a happy halloween. All I see all day long is people screaming and crying about the event. I get on the forums to find hundreds of threads titles “Halloween patch the WORST thing to happen to GW2” and “costume brawl…seriously.” Enough. I am so tired of it, is anyone else with me here?

15 or so of my RL friends and i started in darkhaven during prerelease. Several more of our friends and family are trying to join us. Its telling them the server is full. I saw some earlier posts saying to just make a char on a different server and watch for an opening since transfers are free. But now thatits been a couple weeks since release is this still the best plan? Havent things kind of settled down by now? Should we try and get everyone transfered off or wait it out..? Is there somewhere we can see which servers are full so we can watch it for them? Some of these ppl are a bit less technologically capable.. Like my mother in law.. Lol
