aha not the exact answer i wanted to hear but i guess thats the norm with conquest pvp guess d/d ele is not a great choice atm aye :P

agree totally also 4v5 literally every game sucks! conquest is old even a new game mode like LOL will be better at this point !

if im not equiping an aoe based weapon?

its not so much of a complaint its just i dont need to attack the rangers truck load of pets or the necromancers minions!, also when mesmers stealth you literally spend most of your time trying to target the real mesmer why you die to him.
Maybe this is a L2P issue which i will not deny but on a point with 4 spirit rangers its kittened i can’t really see my target to how would i attack him?
if there is an option system to change to nearest player someone let me know if not can anet get this sorted thanks

alot of guilds are doing this idea atm with custom arena’s and alot are interested there is so much pve content we need more pvp !

It seems alot of players want this option, me included.
for all those players who don’t want this stick to conquest.

this game needs this and as for balancing changes well i guess everyone in the meta knows that balance isn’t in a great place at the moment AOE condi builds will be less powerful but there is alot of decent 1v1 specs for each class. although i reakon a 2v2 or 3v3 ( yes wow format sorry) would be better numbers so tanky control build can be taken down with more ease where as 1v1 you may struggle obviously after time certain debuffs could be placed making tankier specs effective such as armour reduced 10% stacking after 8 mins or something wont effect glass cannons so much anyway!

just some thoughts try and keep this thread updated to be viewed after all any game mode added would bring more variety conquest is getting a little tedious time to time! and DM is the most talked about option!

Deathmatch would work brilliantly as put aoe wouldnt be such a problem since your not having to stand guard on a certain circle could be easily avoided with some pillars etc. could be a problem say with thiefs bursty builds but if the health pools were slightly increased it would solve that issue easily also there are plenty of chances to revive get players back up, seen this in action from a couple of twitch streamers worked great so much composition for different types of builds. could also help anet help balance the game around more structered small scale pvp zoning! maps would be small simple would be a great addition to the game and with some work could be bought in as an e sport mode ! just my opinion
