guild wars should just be called tank wars with the way ppl stack stats

i still don’t understand why the separate game from spvp/ and everything else. spvp is fun but in small batches. I wish I was able to bring my legendary, or just que or and hope in with my toon. there are so many builds that ONLY work in spvp and not in wvw, pve, or random dueling in open world. why cant you just bring your main into spvp? this would attract a lot of other players to just want to casually fight and not deal with zergs etc.

well what server are yall trying to decide on also?

kitten ran havoc forever on t1, now it seems no one wants to 5v5 or even fight just turns into 10 v 5, talent been running with us also for past few days

anyway contact me in game or send me a msg on here, would love to fight more like-minded small mans, brings back the DAOC days <3

speaking for one of the cofounders from Hands off My octopus, one of the most successful T1 havoc squads imo – we had a lot of fun when we first came to JQ, but now even the small groups we used to fight all alley against us and will only attack us with 10+ against our 5-6 so we would love to xfer issue is gold

I run 0/20/20/0/30 full rabid and ptc jewels mixed with pvc
I have 40% crit and with food buffs I run with 1848 condi dmg I also use sigil of battles and accuracy and for wvw, 1v1ing ( o I also run staff/scepter/focus) I have no problem surviving greater numbers or 1v1ing any class its just situational when you shatter, and stack your confuses. pay attention to what your fighting and their rotation. don’t spam attacks leaving your clones up for a bit is also helpful in stacking bleeds.

yep seems to have happened to a lot of people, maybe a bug ? i dunno but it is messed up ><

i played daoc for YEARS and even though they had zergs, on a much larger scale too 100+ from one side it didn’t feel like it because the zone was so big, and the keeps were much MUCH harder to take, fully upgraded the guards would destroy people the walls took longer to take down etc etc

anyone feel that this patch has caused zergs to just trade keeps and towers and run in a big circle for points? seems to be the new fotm and wish they would either make the maps BIGGER or make it harder to take an upgraded keep/tower

Well it was a good RUN! but apparently Hands Off My Octopus isn’t a proper name for gw2 and the devs deleted it, guess its time to find a new name! just disappointed all those upgrades GONE

I don’t enjoy spvp as much as wvw since spvp seems to be point cap and or hold and stupid tank builds in pvp that is only for running points or holding out as long as possible, also wvw is more open dunno what you could run into

SOMEONE 5v5 us tonight stop zerg fighting!

Hand off my Octopus would gvg but not 20v20 or even 10v10 I think we got 5-6 guys on at anytime so if ppl wanna do a group and not a giant zerg msg me sometime.

so running 90% of the time in wvw I see this build, heavy condition dmg , and hard as hell to catch and take down.. wondering if anyone could link me to this build? pistol shield looks fun

HMMM AS THE creator of Hands OFf My Octopus all I have to say it that we had a few friends on JQ and we came to JQ that way, we weren’t planning to stay just were visiting friends. Anyway we never follow zergs, we like the small fights. If any of you don’t like it pay for our xfers and we will go to your server and take camps and take out the havoc squads, we enjoy the small fights and even larger.
We went to T1 to find more action and to find harder fights, JQ is just where we landed. ANyway hook us up with gold we will all move to your server!

Hands off my octopus would love to play other groups but we only have about 6 ppl online at any given time so couldn’t we do a 5v5??? come on:D

maybe give us 2 laurels for todays daily?! well I know some ppl that got 2 from yesterday so I think we should be given 2 also lol

same for me I have completed ALL of the dailies, reclogged, zoned, logged on another character and no change

I have ascended backpiece , rings, and neck just curious any info be awesome.

I mean you give it a utility slot.. so I can have more mf.. gold.. or xp… come on..

so why is the ascended triforge ammy worse than the original? the stats+ jewel is way better than the new ammy+ ascended slot .. can anyone tell me why?:(

after playing on stormbluff since the beginning, I have to ask do you all like to come in 2nd? or just that afraid of SoS to attack them? just a simple question currently playing on bg and notice jq zergs camping bg at the res point in SoS map… just thought id ask do they enjoy being 2nd every week

i think to make wvw more fun would be to take the ques for each map and connect them all so that you could run to each if you want.. also by a server holding the most keeps and getting a “win” i would like to see either a dungeon or something for that server for the week as a real reward:P. make it a contested dungeon so that others can attack eachother outside of it and or retake it .
