I didn’t realize they were aesthetic goals. This is my first MMO and the progression in color and stats only points to things getting better, so I would think that purple/legendary should be better than the rest otherwise there is no reason to go for them, why not just craft ascended then. But if I knew I get a perk for having them gives me a reason to go for them. Plus the work it takes to get them should make it better.
maybe they don’t reply when its in the works for a release already? and they just want to surprise us. it seems they don’t “patch” things up they just release complete reworks when it’s time. I wonder if this 2 week update thing forces them to keep good updates and changes for a specific release rather than just giving us the quality of life updates when needed and completed. and yes i totally agree with this post.
this would be an awesome update! and there should be several parts of the weapon that can be colored imo, not just say the hilt, but individual parts of the hilt. Armor also needs more choices individual parts, the 3-4 parts they give is not enough at times. but yes weapon colors would be great!
I agree, the filters can be much better than what we currently have available. Trading post needs several updates. I think the gem store needs to be reworked with tabs within say “Style” for weapon skins/ armor skins/town clothes/holiday events… and also make the “preview” window larger and give it an option for wielding (2) weapons. and on a side note the Black Lion Ticket Merchants for weapons and stuff need to be reworked they are getting to be ridiculous when you go shop their stuff like 10+ bags to choose from, what happens in a year with so many events coming out we will have a scroll through 20 bags to find the one we want… (and the skins should only cost 1 ticket 5-7 is to much)
I had the same idea I like it, or even offer some sort of Slot upgrade, that can be crafted with the artificer. He can craft a slot for exotics (holds 2 sigils), one for ascended (3 sigils), and one for legendary (unlimited).
imo… once any character on an acct completes world completion we should be able to get more gifts of exploration through our achievement tab… just simply withdraw them like the current things we can withdraw anytime.
I think every new legendary should use the current legendary as a precursor to them, that way no one can get them without first making the current one, this also shows progress to people as your working your way up. And it doesn’t ruin it for people that have already made one. And they can give them a new name like Eternal Legendary and finally give it some higher stats than the ascended pieces… :-)
I have been thinking about this account bag for a very long time, and as I was just looking around I saw it has already been suggested. I want this!!!!!! But they can sell it as whichever size bag 5slot/200gems, 10slot/400, 15/600, 20/800 and it would give all your characters an extra “account” bag. And you should be allowed to put whatever you want in it, as long as its not soulbound, so any character can use that item.

Just wondering if crafting celestial armor will be worth it now, or what the plan is for making the armor ascended.
Is it going to be a mystic forge upgrade like trinkets? Will I be able to throw my Celestial Armor in the forge for ascended stats? Since getting a full set of celestial armor takes a long time, it would be nice to know how this is going to work.
In one of the News posts “Looking Ahead: Guild Wars 2 in 2013” it was said “At 500, crafters will be able to craft ascended weapons and armor.”
I just don’t want to waste so much time now with crystals, just so I have to start all over once Level 500 crafting is available. Anyone have any ideas?
