I’m a little annoyed at the way the Festival page is set up. Why put things that don’t count towards the Meta on the page? I did Snowball Mayhem, waste of time it didn’t count, I did Toypocalypse again waste of my time it didn’t count either. Honestly if I had known that from the beginning I would have saved myself 3 gold paying that Ho-Ho and the annoyance of wasting my time even trying to do this. Really why no warning that not everything listed counted?

I was a little surprised to find this out myself. I looked into it and found that when you clicked on the adept toymaker achievement, it lists all of the other achievements that count toward this.

I really did not like the fact that to get the Adept Toymaker achievement, you have to do ALL the 11 prescribed achievements. This does not seem consistent with how GW2 operated in the past. For the old dailies you were given 10 possible dailies but only had to do 5 of them. For the now defunct monthlies, you were given 8 possible monthlies but only needed to accomplish 4. Even now, the new dailies are complete ANY 3 out of 4 PVE dailies, 4 WVW dailies and 4 PVP dailies.

I won’t be able to complete the adept toymaker achievement this year because i cannot do the bell choir. i am not musically inclined and try as i might, i cannot even do the very first song. It is frustrating not to have an alternative.

Is there something that can be done? perhaps you guys could lower the achievement requirement from 11 to 10? or add the Jumping Puzzle or Toypocalypse survivor, etc…

It has been months since ascended trinkets have been available. Any news on if there will be Carrion or Valkyrie Ascended Gear?

So far the only way I am aware to get Carrion or Valkyrie Trinkets is to make Tempered Spinal Blades, Light of Dwayna or Shadow of Grenth back items and they are ALL very expensive to craft, not to mention you need to have a crafting discipline leveled to 500 to make any of the three.

Edit: There is no such thing as a Carrion back item. I just made another Tempered Spinal Blades back piece and upgraded my exotic Carrion back piece to an ascended one and there isn’t a stat option for Carrion. My fault for not checking, really.

As far as Amulets, Rings or Accessories go nothing is available yet.

What gives? It would be great if an admin or one of the Devs could let us know what the score is. Even a vague timeline like “maybe early next year” would be highly appreciated. If you guys don’t plan to release these items in the next year, a heads up would be nice too, so we can find alternatives.
