I think 2.5k yaks is a good number. Most people who are in the tens of thousands are forgetting that they have been playing for 2-3 years and that they spent several thousand hours in wvw. As someone who has been playing wvw on and off for a combined total of around 300 hours i am at a bit over 400 yaks killed. Now i understand i’m just not actively going for yaks, but even if you are actively going for yaks it will still take a couple of weeks to get it, which is an appropriate timeframe for an achievement in my opinion.

buy new character slots with gems, they only cost 800 gems which shouldnt be a problem if youre already working on legendarys anyway.
