Guild Wars 2

Greetings fellow Guardians,

I am returning to GW2 after half an eternety.
Back in 2012 I was. a super casual player and it doesn’t look like I will have the time to play pro like from now on either.
I still really like guardians and want to continue to play one. Especially looking forward to Firebrand!!
But until then, I wonder if it is viable to play 2H sword guardian. I just really like the abilities and they way it feels to play it.

If I play some WvW or Dungeons/Fractlas, will I find a group with 2h sword or is the “meta” enforced by the community?

I’d much rather that the Emperor be Ecclesiate Xun Rao going by the name Usoku who should turn out to be Menzies himself thus giving us some tie-in to Path of Fire.

Of course considering Cantha’s new policies as well as their full subjugation and absorption of the Kurzicks & Luxons I should hope Cantha takes inspiration from one Asian Country and not all of them at once like in Guild Wars 1.

The Country used as inspiration should preferably be Japan(study Inuyasha, Naruto and Bleach for inspiration ArenaNet) as China has already been done by WoW MoP.

As someone who lives in Japan: Please don’t! There is so much more to Japanese culture than those few anime… One should study a countries culture to use it as an inspiration and not a highly stylised manga…

And I too like the multiculturalism of Cantha.

Hey everyone, i don’t know why, but i can’t see any vendors, vistas nor skill challenges on my (mini) map, in addition i cannot use the skill challenges. My only character is lvl 8. is ist maybe due to that?
