Gonna have to cry bs on the actually doing anything about it as they seem to just be increasing daily. It’s really disheartening when you’re like hey I’m in the mood for some GW2, log on try to do a quest, and there’s just trains of bots running in circles trying to kill everything in sight or just a glob of them shooting at nothing and every. So you’re like maybe I’ll just switch characters, same thing’s happening to another area. Makes you sick enough to stop playing.
Really, how hard is it to detect a bot when they’re freaking teleporting all over the map or just sitting and shooting at nothing the entire time or running predetermined paths hour after hour day after day. Sickening as hell just logging on and oh it’s just freaking bots everywhere, even the same ones you’ve reported dyas earlier.
No one likes listening apparently, judging by the fact that you’re typing "I"m unable to really enjoy", your ’ button types out ‘’ instead of just plain ’, which would mean that you’re probably not on a US keyboard layout. US – International or US – Whatever doesn’t count. Switch your keyboard to US or give up using your ’ or ` keys.
Would explain why some servers are doing so poorly, quite hard to do well when you can’t even field a full team.
We threw quite a few matches during the 24 hour rotations, doesn’t quite suprise me if we were teamed with terrible servers.
Switch off US International, or any keyboard layouts with dead keys on. As trying to type anything with ’ will likely crash the game. Otherwise, learn to live without punctuating ’ or ` till they fix it.
We were even with Blackgate till a bit back, then no clue what happened. But yea, server transfers need a cd.
Rifled Turret Barrels, no range increase on turret, if it does it’s not saying it which I doubt it does anyways. What’s with none of the deployables range increases not working? Still makes no sense how you can throw grenades or shoot a bow farther than you shoot a gun or fire a mortar, or how a hand held weapons fires farther than a mounted turret.
Reiterating:
Elite skills doesn’t increase mortar range, no clue if it does anything else it’s suppose to.
Turrets target ai sucks, firing at nonexistant things and things that are obscured.
Revive/looting should take priority over pickup turret, when in the world would you ever need to urgently pick up a turret?
Also engineer range sucks, getting outranged by warriors? o.O
Crashing/Freezing when trying to enter chat, just wondering by any chance you are using a non-US keyboard layout because Windows 7 isn’t natively letting you press the tilde key without holding it down? At the very least switching back to US keyboard and then rebinding change weapon key to something other than tilde fixed it for me. Seems every time I try using ’ key in chat it would crash it when I was not using the US Default keyboard.
At any rate, worth a look, maybe they’ll fix it some day without having to revert back.
As for the tilde key, it’s not a dead key thing, and it’s not the keyboard as vista and xp both work fine on the same computer so gave up trying to fix it.
