I also had the lag issue since about mid november, but yesterday and today I was able to play between 7:00 pm CET and 8:30 pm CET, without changing anything on my end. The game performed flawlessly in these last 2 days, but it was really unplayable for the previous few weeks during this time of the day.

Last week and the previous weeks I had massive lag and frequent disconnects in game. Now I don’t have those issues anymore! Hurray for that! Oh, wait a minute…
This is because I can’t get into the game anymore. Either the game launcher gets stuck before being prompted for the authentication token, or after that I get an error message in the launcher saying that the login server is not available/reachable, or getting stuck on the loading screen.
Why is this taking so long to fix ? It seems I am being forced to play something else as I am tired for waiting for a fix for this issue which seems to be spreading like the plague and affecting more and more people every day, and what’s even worse than this is: there is no frequent feedback from the dev team on this issue.

Hello,

I am an EU player, playing the game since release without any major issues (on Vabbi for the first few months, then moved to Desolation after that). However, starting with 18th November 2014 the game is pretty much unplayable for me during the evening. I have huge skill lag, lag spikes, rubber banding, frequent disconnects. I have no such issues with any other online games.
As it can be seen from the screenshot attached, I am connected to the server with IP 206.127.159.186, which seems to be located in Austin, Texas, according to all geolocation providers.

The map names API is bugged. It is only returning 10 map names:

I am using the map names in my Windows application to filter events by map and this bug is making my app pretty much useless right now.
Until this gets fixed can someone provide the whole list of maps and map ID so I can hard-code them in my app ?

After login error, items etc missing

The same thing happened to me. Just before the disconnect, I finished my daily level 10 fractal on my warrior and was very happy for getting the Yakkington’s Ring and returned to the outpost. When I tried to exit to Lion’s Arch I got disconnected. After I managed to log in again, the ring was missing and so were most the fractal relics I should of had after the full run, only 6 relics were in my inventory. What happened? Was this a database rollback or what ?
