I HAD the same issue a while back, it was all working fine one minute, the next it was as slow as a snail with a hang-over… i hadn’t changed anything, just one day it was fine getting 70+ fps everywhere and the next i was down to 25, less if i moved about and totally unplayable in WvW and whenever there was a big champion / boss fight going on.
BUT i fixed it!
how? it’s a little odd but works… (windows 7) i went into my contol panel —> power settings and put my profile onto “high performance” i guessed the power going to the GPU card wasn’t being told to turn on by the app so to get around it, have the card always powered up fully… not sure if that’s right but it worked for me!
